Beautiful Country Club Bungalow!

Views galore at this Monterey Country Club retreat. Relax with the whole family, or just friends at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy panoramic south facing mountain views over the 8th fairway of the east golf course.

Enter through a private, illuminated enclosed courtyard to the living room with a cozy fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The living room provides a nice area to relax after a day of exploring. You will feel energized with abundant natural light in all rooms. There are two spacious bedrooms and a large south facing extended patio with an electric awning for outdoor dining or to work on a little tan. Relax in the evening watching the sunset or a movie. This is your home away from home. We want you back every year!

You'll have your pick of 37 pools and hot tubs, onsite restaurant at the clubhouse, and a gated, secure community. Garage parking is included for one vehicle. High speed wifi and cable TV with all sports channels, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax.

Prime location dead center in the Coachella Valley between Palm Springs and La Quinta. Close to Indian Wells Tennis Garden, many golf courses, El Paseo shopping/restaurants, etc.

We have just completed a remodel of several rooms but haven't updated the pictures yet. Brand new carpet, interior paint, stacked stone floor-to-ceiling fireplace (to replace the mirror), recessed lighting in all rooms, 3 new ceiling fans, new sofa, new dining room table, 2 new king size beds, new vanity and lighted mirror in 2nd bathroom, new window coverings, new cement in atrium with fire pit and lounge chairs, new artwork, etc. We hope you'll be pleasantly surprised!

The property was very nicely stocked with anything one might need. It was very clean and welcoming. It is dog friendly, and has gates both front and back, which is nice with dogs. Gorgeous views!

Great location with a gorgeous view

The home exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and had all the necessities. The view of the golf course was stunning. There are many pools with plenty of seating and shade. It was centrally located with restaurants and stores nearby. The community was quiet which made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Very nice rental

This was a new rental so I was hesitant, but we were very pleased with the property. The location was great, and it was clean and sunny with a very nice patio overlooking the golf course. Kitchen was well provisioned with glasses, dishes etc, and the bed was very comfortable. Towels and linens were excellent.While it isn't large, the space is pleasant, well-designed and comfortable. Communication and check-in were seamless. Highly recommended.

Choose a hotel or anything else

We booked this place and it was Easter weekend. We wanted to bring our cat so we had to have a plan when we got to town. We had a 6 Hour Dr. to get there so we asked if they could check us in at 2 PM or 1 PM and they said yes if we left the cleaning crew an extra 50 in cash. We agreed to and we did. The room was ready by 1 PM. I did not think that was a big ask since checkout is 10 AM.Once we arrived at the gate, all services were down and the guard shack could not write us a pass to get in. We sat there well over 30 or 40 minutes, waiting on a pass. Finally, someone gave us a handwritten pass, which would ultimately not work for the next two days. Each time we entered we ended up stopping to get a new pass. This took a lot of time considering we were in town for Coachella and did not have access to get back in for our night time.We got settled in considering it’s a big home. We had a lot of things to bring. It was also Easter so we did some cooking and eating together as a family. Once Coachella was over on Sunday night, we returned straight to the property and got home around 2 AM. After a shower and a well needed four hour nap, we got up and started packing and trying to get our stuff together to load. After packing and noticing that we were coming up on 10 AM, we could not load our car because of the lawn services that were blowing pollen dust, and dirt everywhere outside. They even left the clippings of all of the shrubbery in our walkway and in the driveway.

We sincerely apologize! Yes, the gate was having a big problem with their computer systems being down over this weekend. What I didn't appreciate was Tracy being so rude to the cleaners when they showed up to clean after check-out time. They slammed the door in her face. Tracy was impossible to contact, and she never informed me of this gate isuue until now, in her review. Occasionally we have guests that are rude and, aside from the gate issue, very unpleasant. It is the 80/20 rule. We would not host Tracy again, nor would we recommend her to future hosts. Beware!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Monterey Country Club has the absolute most central location in all of the Coachella Valley - nothing is more than 20 minutes away. We love being close to all the shops and dining - El Paseo, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Costco, Indian Wells, the Zoo, the new Disney community, and many, many golf and tennis communities are within 5-10 minutes. This is a very peaceful community with no road noise, 37 pools and hot tubs to pick from, and a restaurant onsite at the club house.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Besides the prime location, we really wanted a south facing view with as much natural light as possible. We think you'll agree - during the daytime our unit is light and bright and during the evening, we've tried to make it as cozy as possible with different lighting options (ceiling lights on dimmers, floor/table lamps, outdoor lighting in the entry way, atrium, and back patio). Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and the primary bedroom has a sliding glass door to the interior atrium where we've added a fire pit.
