Perfect place to stay to enjoy all that Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, Andersonville and Wrigleyville have to offer. I’ll be staying here again.

Wow! We loved the property! It was spotless and well equipped. It was organized and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit our son. The area has great restaurants and shopping right outside the main door.

The day of arrival after payment had been made we were notified to go to the basement and reset the breaker if the air conditioner would not come on. This we did and the air worked for about 5 minutes and the breaker tripped again. Fearing hot conditions and constant trips down to the basement we left and requested a refund both from Vrbo and the contact person with property. Losses were over a thousand dollars.Vrbo offered 120 just for good will and said it was the property owners responsibility and the the property owner declined any refund saying it was Vrbos responsibility. A Loss of 900, A Hot Stay in a Cool Spot

I've waited almost a week to leave a review... wanting to think carefully about what I write and convey and also in the hopes there would be some further acknowledgement and consideration for the stay. The space itself was ideal for my stay, however the conditions made it a really unpleasant experience. From my arrival the main circuit breaker was blown, impacting the A/C, ceiling fan, lights, in the main living area. With nothing unpacked or plugged in the circuit was tripped. I reached out, the communication was quick and helpful and led to what would be the first of dozens of trips to the basement to reset the breaker. Over the course of my stay I had to reach out numerous times and explain that everything in the apartment was off and with nothing but my phone plugged in, the breaker was still tripping. I was met with courteous responses but no change or support from the building's super. I tried to be understanding but if I had known the situation wouldn't be improved I would've reached out to VRBO and asked about canceling/moving or something. The final message/follow-up from the host about escalating things with the building was never followed-up on and nothing was addressed. The next message I rec'd was a reminder of how to check-out and a thank you for my stay. I was in Chicago for work, meeting new potential clients for potentially future work opportunities and I could rest or sleep.

Um, no winery, an apartment in Chicago for a cooking experience (and dates were Sun., Oct 12-Sat.,Oct.17). Cute, great location, terrace was a plus, but many disappointing details: under toilet bowl rims were disgusting; bathtub drained slowly; shower had to run literally 5 minutes before hot (which the host only told us when I inquired after a day of ice-cold showers); only Roku TV (no local channels); only 2 total sets of towels for week (bath/hand/washcloth)--after numerous requests and host promises, he finally delivered just 2 additional bath towels on day 5 of our 7 day stay); one roll of TP (host promised, none came, I purchased at a nearby store); no caffeine coffee for the Keurig they touted (he said they only provide a small starter supply, but we could purchase it at local stores); some check-in problems, the necessary photos for entrance didn't attach properly to my email, host was quick to respond, but I was required to register and open an account for an app I didn't have. Again, the place was nice, the location was near restaurants, shops, whatever, but the details were lacking. If these details had been met, it would have been 5 stars instead of 3.
