Hospitality is in our DNA! For over 15 years, my family and I have loved creating unique, welcoming spaces for travelers. We started with Sheady Acres, a boutique hotel featuring five handcrafted cottages that we built from the ground up—true mom-and-pop style—all while raising our two kids. Over the years, we expanded, adding a stunning post-and-beam wedding venue that became a cherished place for couples to celebrate their love.

In 2019, we sold Sheady Acres and embraced a new adventure in Costa Rica. We fell in love with an old pizzeria, El Tucán, and transformed it into our family home—a space filled with history, charm, and a deep connection to the community. Nestled in our Oasis neighborhood, we enjoy the laid-back beach lifestyle, the incredible flavors of local cuisine, and the friendships we've built with our neighbors.
