We are water babies and love the sounds and beaches .
Have included a few pictures of the glorious times we have had clamming , picking mussels , crabbing and fishing both at the ORV Beach access and the pier .

Of course our dogs love prancing in the marsh waters and help dig for mussels although we keep them far away from the birds and turtles nesting areas .

Love the outdoors like us ? Head out to the Rocking chairs on the top balcony & sip a tall cool one .
Or breakfast at the corner of the balcony with amazing views of the beach cove at the ORV beach access or the expansive marshes where cormorants are dive fishing.
We love to loll on the hammocks on the 1st floor balcony stretch out on the comfortable rattan sofa chairs .
Spend a day fishing ( we catch trout, mullets , Spanish mackerels often ) and clamming or mussel hunting at the ORV Beach access. ( make sure to download the SurfCast app and pay for parking early & much easily than at the parking lot or for driving to the beach access area ) . Ooh don’t miss out on the dolphins that frolic often by the cove .
Make sure your dogs are on leash on the beach and you pick up the dogs waste please .
As the evening sets in chill out on the deck chairs at the edge of the marsh and enjoy sunsets like the ones we have posted .
If you really must leave this paradise to eat out then we highly recommend the Tiki Bar next door ( Tyler the bartender is awesome ) which also has basic groceries . River Cafe , Daddy Mac Beach Grill & Maine Lobsta Shack are recommended.
The turtle sanctuary is a must visit too.
