Discover this waterfront, sound side 4-bedroom 3.5-bath gem in Atlantic Beach with breathtaking views, gorgeous sunsets, and private pier for fishing or crabbing! Spend your day lounging on the beach, at the pool, or watching the sunset on one of the various waterfront porches at the house. This stunning home features a master suite with king bed and private bathroom suite with tub/shower and double vanities. The second and third bedrooms each feature a queen bed. The fourth bedroom offers 2 queen beds, a single twin bed, and boasts a private full bathroom with double vanity and shower. The other guest bathroom features a tub/shower with double vanity. Additional half bath for added convenience. Single garage is offered for storage of beach chairs, umbrella, etc. There is also a propane grill available for use. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, washer/dryer, and during your stay. The private pier offers direct water access for kayaking (not provided), fishing, crabbing, or simply soaking in the sun! When the day is complete, enjoy cooking in the charming kitchen or grilling outside. Outdoor shower is also available or showering or washing off after a day in the sand! Full water views and amazing sunsets abound!
A 1-minute drive will take you to historic Fort Macon, where you can experience history in this Civil War-era fort. Walk through fort and along the nature trails and experience the natural beauty of the island. Morehead City, home of the annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament, is directly across the sound from our home and can be reached in a short drive over the island bridge. With a 15-minute drive, you can experience historic Beaufort, NC and all it has to offer. Beaufort is a known home of the infamous pirate, Blackbeard, where his shipwreck was located just outside of Beaufort Inlet. Walk through the streets, take in local seafood and shopping, and see the wild horses on Carrot Island. Take a boat tour to nearby Cape Lookout National Seashore, and experience Carolina coast at its finest!
Island Quay is a private, gated community with private beach access. When you need a rest from the beach, spend your time lounging at the private neighborhood pool- a perfect way to end your day in the sun!
