This three-bedroom, 1.5-bath retreat (plus an outdoor shower) is perfect for up to 8 guests, featuring two queen beds, two twin beds, and a queen pull-out couch. Currently only accepting week long stays with a Friday change over from July- August.

Step inside and enjoy the fresh updates, including brand-new appliances, stylish new living room furniture, and modern amenities like a smart TV and a record player for the ultimate vintage vibe. The home is adorned with original artwork inside and out!

Very comfortable one-floor beach home in a great location. Few easy steps from driveway to kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped, home is air conditioned, and nice outdoor seating areas. Short walk to bay for sunsets. Great location for visiting Surf City.

The beach retreat was PERFECT for our family get-away. We needed a dog-friendly rental that could accommodate our three daughters and two grandsons for a long weekend and Kathryn’s house checked all the boxes! It was just a stroll to the bay and a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house was extremely clean and had all of the household staples needed, which was a huge help, especially for such a short trip. And an outdoor shower is always a big plus for us! Kathryn was super responsive and accommodating, both before and during the stay. Check-in was a breeze and the guest information binder provided all the necessary details about house rules, local points of interest, and instructions for check-out. I’d highly recommend staying here and would certainly book this rental again for a future stay!

The amenities at the house were excellent. I found most of the items we packed for our stay were unnecessary to bring as they were already provided. The shed stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, and especially a beach buggy was a welcome sight. Having planned to carry everything to the beach, it was a joy to load it all onto the buggy and stroll up the street. We also enjoyed having the bay beach within walking distance, as a safer alternative for young children to swim. Also, the ability to bring our dog made planning much easier, not having to coordinate a pet-sitter.Lastly, Kathryn was very easy to reach and quick to respond - thanks again for a great stay.

Just a lovely little spot. We had such a nice stay here. The house is well equipped for cooking which I loved. All the beach gear is great quality and made our days on the sand very comfortable. Being a couple steps from the bay made for great sunset viewing every night. Great stay and would book again.

Lovely House near the beach! Fit our family of 8 just fine. Short walk to the bay and 10 min walk to the ocean beach. Great all around!

We loved our stay. The place was very cozy and comfortable for the 6 of us (more than that would probably have felt crowded). Really appreciated how well-stocked the house was, with pretty much anything we might have needed. It was nice to find the beach chairs and umbrellas in the shed, and the cornhole equipment was a nice touch. Overall an excellent experience in an amazing location. I would definitely come back.

We had such a fantastic stay at this lovely home! It was spotless when we arrived and immediately felt cozy and welcoming - perfect for our family getaway. One of the absolute highlights was how incredibly well-stocked the house was, especially for beach days. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach wagon, and even cornhole, which we loved playing in the backyard.Inside, the home was just as thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and there were plenty of beach towels, bath towels, pillows, and linens - such a relief not to have to bring all of that with us!The location was also ideal. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets at the bay just down the street, and we were within walking distance to family-friendly spots like Rita’s and mini golf. The neighborhood itself was quiet and peaceful - great for evening walks and stargazing.Overall, this home was a gem. Comfortable, convenient, and clearly cared for. We would absolutely stay here again!

Long weekend with family

This is a great location in a quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to a beautiful sunset on the bay. Access to the beach is a quick, straight drive or longer walk. The house is homey and well supplied with bedding, towels, games, beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as kitchen gear for cooking. Outdoor seating in front and back is lovely as well as cute outdoor shower.

Great property…great neighborhood

Kathryn (owner) was responsive and very considerate. The reason for our trip was our 40th wedding anniversary and we walked into a beautiful bouquet of flowers and champagne. The house is very comfortable and cozy and is equipped for time at the beach; chairs, umbrellas, etc.It is a short walk to Surf City with a couple of good restaurants and coffee shops. Beautiful sunsets over the Bay at the end of the street.As close as it is to everything it is a very quiet neighborhood. We had a great stay!
