Excellent LBI getaway

Wonderful vacation, loved the deck and extremely close proximity to the beach. Jim was very easygoing and accommodating, we had a very easy stay, everything was just as great as we had hoped.

Jim is a terrific host! The house was better than advertised. Very clean and welcoming. The location is phenomenal! Jim made us feel very comfortable and we can’t wait to go back!

We couldn’t be happier!

The owner was present and always very helpful. The accommodations were very well maintained. Cooking supplies were clean, abundant and perfect. Beach was less than a minute walk and lovely. Owner had chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for guests to use on the beach. We were very happy we made this selection.

Sweet place right near the beach

Jim has a very lovely little apartment three minute walk from the beach. It is clean, well stocked and has a wonderful outdoor deck. I highly recommend!

Family Beach Trip

Our stay in Harvey Cedars was all we were expecting and more. The property fit our family perfectly. The location to the beach and everything we needed at the property made for a great vacation. We enjoyed walking on the bay side in the evenings enjoying the sunsets. Jim was a great host and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

My son and I loved our trip and stay at this cozy home in LBI! Jim was so welcoming as the host, and so kind and helpful to us both. He made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay and treated us like friends. The house was a perfect spot, so comfortable and very clean. It comes with great conveniences including beach passes, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, a list of recommendations for local restaurants and activities, full kitchen and a great outdoor deck. A couple of houses down from the ocean beach and also close to a bay beach, it’s a great location for families with plenty of things to do in town/neighboring towns. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Very nice beach vacation location

Interesting A frame design only 4 houses away from the beach. Some minor issues with washer and kitchen faucet clearly explained by the owner during check-in. Communication with the owner is one of the best strengths of this property.

Simple, no frills, PERFECT beach vacation

We had an incredible time at Jim's property on LBI. Not only is the area extremely family friendly and easy to get around, Jim is an expert host. So welcoming, friendly and responsive. He has beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels etc to make the stay easy breezy. We felt like we were part of his family. I 100% recommend this property for a simple, no frills PERFECT beach vacation.

Great spot

I really enjoyed my stay here. this home was perfect for a long weekend, and I hope to return. Walkable to Neptunes and restaurants (about 10-15 minute walk). The home comes ready with pots, pans, a w/d, use of beach chairs, and the patio is a hidden little retreat. Fans, AC, and a cross breeze keep the home quite comfortable. Jim is a great host. He was very responsive to my questions and super friendly. I definitely recommend this rental.

A Relaxing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this A-frame house in Harvey Cedars. The outside deck is definitely one of the major highlights. It is very private with comfortable seating and a nice grill for barbecuing. The bedrooms are a bit small and one is in an open loft area. The kitchen and living room area was very comfortable for our group of 5 adults and a child. Jim, who lives downstairs, was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to return sometime soon!

Cute A-frame At The Beach

We had a very enjoyable family week on LBI (four adults and 2 tweens). The owner was very hospitable and showed real pride of ownership in this rental. We enjoyed our meals on the deck surrounded by the beautiful flowers. This was one of the cleanest and most well-kept houses that we have stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the loft bedroom was excellent. We all made use of the convenient outdoor shower. The downstairs bedrooms were not air conditioned. We had to rely on the living room air conditioner and a fan to stay cool, this was the only negative. We would definitely rent here again!

A Frame in Long Beach Island

The premises were great. It was very clean, attractive and well appointed. As advertised it was steps from the beach and consisted of a lovely deck for hanging out on. Jim, the owner, was lovely to deal with and attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!

This is a gem of a property. It feels like a hidden oasis a stones throw to the beach. The inside is lovely w post and beam architecture and a loft upstairs. The back deck was a haven for me. Private w trees shade so you don’t feel overexposed to neighbors. Yet gets plenty of sun for enjoying the warm days. It has a large umbrella for the table if you prefer more shade. All the furniture, oversized couch and all the beds were very comfortable and were nicely decorated. Comfortable linens. Jim was the perfect host. He provides everything, towels, beach towels, linens, beach chairs etc, which made packing very simple. The beach is only a few houses away and the water is extremely close to the entrance making it an easy walk. The neighborhood/block is beautiful and quiet and very convenient 1/4 mile to stores and restaurants. I loved everything about our stay and highly recommend it. Thanks Jim!

What a fabulous stay on LBI. The owner, Jim, could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The house was spotless and very comfortable for us. A very quick walk to the beach. Jim also brought us back a ton of freshly picked blueberries. It was exactly what the doctor ordered!

Excellent property, great location, helpful owner

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This house is a perfect size for our family of five and Jim is very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Beds were comfortable, the place is clean, and there is lots of beach gear and an outside shower. The deck was a really nice spot to eat meals. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Perfect Harvey Cedars Retreat

Everything about this rental is A+. This small 3 bedroom home is well suited for 1-6 people, particularly a great getaway for couples. Tastefully decorated, the home is cozy and neat with a well equipped kitchen and even bed linens and towels are provided. The proximity to the beach is a short 2 minute beach block walk. A private deck offers a great space for grilling and dining. Jim, our host, is very friendly and quite accommodating if need be.
