Find Memories

Absolute gem located very close to the beach which our children were extremely happy about. As stated there was beach toys and beach chairs and umbrella and a wagon to pull it all and I think what my kids enjoy the most with the boogie boards. For my wife it brought back fond memories of her grandmother's home. Really a wonderful place for a really good price many thanks to Dan and Lila! I will definitely recommend this to family and friends. As well as I hope to visit again in the future.

Amazing property

This house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teens. Short walk to the beach, fully stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas. The rear patio was awesome for relaxing and grilling. The house was amazingly clean and stocked for cooking. We loved it. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for us! It was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and we appreciated having access to a beach wagon, chairs, towels, boogie boards, balls, beach bag, etc. We also loved that the beach at the end of the street was not crowded at all. The location was perfect for visiting the Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach Pier, a dolphin watch, and great restaurants. We also enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful backyard! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Dan and Lila were great hosts!

Vacation home

Dan & Lila thought of everything! Things that others would never think about. It was better equipped than any place I have ever stayed in. Great couple to talk to and associate with. Everything was perfect! Most rentals have a distinct smell to them. Their house was clean and smelled like home! I will rent from them again! Beach within walking distance. They had information on everything! We were all very impressed with their home!

Awesome beach cottage

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting cocoa beach. Comfy beds, nice linens, a well outfitted kitchen and 2 blocks to the beach. It was absolutely spotless! One of the best selling points was the huge selection of beach toys they have for you to use. They are a font of knowledge and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They told us about a rocket launch we hadn’t heard of and we were able to see it. Excellent hosts and we would definitely stay here again.

Location, hospitality, comfort

Dan and Lila were wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful home in the perfect location. The beach is in walking distance and the home has so many beach materials that we packed in the wagon and enjoyed using especially the beach toys for our children. There are family fun parks (Golf and Gator, Ziplining) within walking distance as well. Forgot something? If it is not already stocked at the home, shopping centers are less than a mile away. You can’t go wrong with this vacation home. We felt very welcomed by Mr. Dan and Mrs. Lila. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.

Great vacation rental!

It was our second stay at this vacation rental and again we enjoyed every minute. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated and there is everything you need for a vacation close to the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked with every appliance you can think of. Having the beach cart, chairs, bodyboards and other beach equipment available made the trips to the beach very comfortable and enjoyable. The owners met us personally on our arrival and showed us the house and explained everything which was very helpful. We highly recommend this vacation rental and would love to stay there again on our next trip to the Space Coast!

Home Away from Home

Our family was welcomed by Dan and Lila as if we were their family. Everything in the house was thoroughly explained during our personal tour. We were given plenty of tips about the area, including updates on a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch, which was a highlight for some of us. The beach is a short walk and tons of beach equipment was available to use. A great place to stay.

Great Home in Great Location

I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. The hosts met us at the property for a quick tour and keys. The home was well stocked and had just about everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The beach is a short walk away. There are also several restaurants and stores in walking distance. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Our family will keep this home in mind for future vacations.

Home away from home

We vacationed with four adults and two children. Even though the house is a modest size, there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to relax. The highlight was the quantity and variety of beach items. Chairs, wagon, toys, towels, coolers…anything you might need to enjoy time at the beach…which we did daily. Truly a vacation with all the comforts of home!

Great place in Cocoa Beach with privacy

This is a great place to stay. Close to the beach and private fenced in garden is so beautiful. I could’ve stayed out there all day! The kitchen is well stocked, the beach is close. Felt very peaceful in the home. Very nice to see SpaceX launches as well.

Nice home away from home

This house was a comfortable base from which to explore KSC, Brevard Zoo, and Merritt National Wildlife Refuge. We did not plan around a launch, and there were none scheduled before our trip, but Lila notified us of one that was added that we were able to watch from the beach. The beach near the property is a pretty good spot for a night launch because you can see the rocket fire and the reentry burn/touchdown of the stage 1 for the falcon 9 rockets. The launch was a highlight of our stay for my kiddos and spouse, who had never seen a launch before, and it was thanks to Lila and Dan that we knew about it. The house had all we needed to cook all our meals, and there is a Publix nearby for groceries. Lila and Dan had great communication with us before and during the stay as well.

Great location

This rental was great! It had everything we needed and more! The owners required an in person greeting which initially made us feel a bit pressured to get to the property quickly with no stops or detours, but the greeting was short, informative, and overall helpful. There was a very well stocked kitchen, the bathroom had everything we needed, and the living spaces were all that we could have asked for. The house was stocked as if you lived there full time, minus food (although there was a great selection of random spices and other cooking necessities.) this was a great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

Great Location and great place to stay

Dan and Lila were great hosts and they go above and beyond to provide a great stay for their guests. From the documentation provided about the house and local area down to the games and beach stuff provided. Their focus is making sure you have a great time. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again when visiting Cocoa Beach.

Great house at a great location

It was a great help that Dan and Lila met us at the house and showed us how everything works and where to find stuff (especially since a US household is structured a bit different than in Germany). We felt very welcome and are thankful for that. The house had absolutely everything we needed, both in terms of general layout, as well as equipment stock, especially in the kitchen. The location speaks for itself: Having the beach in walking distance is priceles. We were very glad that the house had a stock of beach equipment that we could take there.

Dan & Lila's house is absolutely amazing. Really makes you feel at home. 3 BR for bigger family's. 2 big bath. Super clean. Having dinner outside on the porch. Every store is in walking distance or a very short drive. 2-5min *900ft walk to the beach from the house* Pull the wagon from the storage closet and go.

Dan is a graduate of Rushford Central High School (Rushford, NY), Cornell University & Webster University. Lila is a licensed Zumba Instructor and currently teaches Zumba Gold classes at the Cocoa Beach Country Club (Golf Course). She is also a Brevard County Master Gardener. Dan is an accomplished author of both fiction and non-fiction books and he is enjoying the Sun, Sand, & Surf!

The Space Coast is a beautiful area. We enjoy hosting and want our guests to feel comfortable during their visit and to enjoy all the natural beauty that the Space Coast offers! We love the beach, sun, sand, and fun of Florida! We love the natural beauty that the Space Coast offers. Several of our favorites are the Canaveral National Sea Shore, the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. Everything you could imagine your family wants to do can be found at or near our home! Our beach house has been furnished with families in mind. Dan and Lila are easy to reach regarding rates and availability. Just call 321.408.4365. We are always close-by so leave a message if we don't pick up and we'll get right back to you!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This home is conveniently located with quick access to the beach, restaurants and other local amenities. It is a wonderful location for a family vacation or holiday. We LOVE the beach, the parks, the Banana river, cruising, and the Orlando theme parks! While just steps from the beach, the house is also easily reached from the Orlando/Orlando airport area. We love the fact that once you land in Orlando, you can be ON THE BEACH in about an hour! The home is perfect for families. We love watching cruise ships sail in and out of the port, lying in the sun, the national seashore, visiting the theme parks, coming home to our own meals, and watching the manatees and dolphins! Disney and Universal are only 60 minutes away on the 4-lane Beachline Expressway (Florida State Route 528). We are located on the closest beach to Orlando and our home is the perfect place to split a theme park/beach vacation! Many of our past guests have also chosen to just stay on the coast and take the short drive to Orlando, cruise on a casino ship, or try their luck on a chartered fishing vessel. Others like to extend their cruise vacation by staying with us before or after their sail.
