8 Hickman St.- upper- Located approximately .5 blocks to the beach. Hickman Street is located in a quiet section of South Rehoboth. A short walk to unique shops and restaurants. This is an upstairs unit and non-smoking. The unit shares a washer/dryer located in the basement and has parking for 1 car per unit. The layout includes a living/ dining area, and kitchen. The unit is cooled by a/c units. Enjoy the ocean views from the front porch.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $162.50.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. Everything was great. With the long drive I had to get down to Rehoboth Beach, I made really good time and was very happy that I was able to check-in a little early. Joseph and the staff on duty were very accommodating and explained the procedures and the info in the arrival packet. The property was clean and the area was quieter than expected, which was a welcome change from other vacation spots I've visited. Thanks again for a great experience!

I don't recall reading in any of the descriptions that the washer and dryer were accessible by exiting the unit and entering from the outside a very damp and musty basement where the insulation is falling down all around you and where only two light bulbs in the entire space worked which had to be turned on by pulling strings. Also, the AC in one bedroom did not work all week and the guy who came to measure said they had been fighting with that one all summer so the owners knew it was having issues but did not take action to fix it so guests would have a comfortable stay. After being instructed by our agent to place a box fan in the doorway to pull air in from the living room, we checked and there was no fan in the unit so we had to go buy one with our own money. Later found out the cleaning lady took the fan. Also, upon arriving it did not seem like the floor had been swept. I know it's the beach and sand is everywhere but it did not seem like it had been cleaned. Also the ceiling fan blades were quite disgusting and need a good clean. One other thing, the pull out sofa bed is completely broken at the bottom on one side and so there is no support at the foot of the bed. So the unit really only sleeps 5 which is how many we had in our party, thank goodness. But because it was broken it made it hard for even one person to sleep on the other side of the bed so our daughter had to sleep on the couch for the week. The kitchen was pretty sparse when it comes to cooking and all of the frying pans were very old and used. The location was great but I don't think we will stay here again. Thank you.
