Jardín Tropical 2 Dormitorio Apto. En Casa de Playa

Ofrecemos un apartamento en planta baja de 2 habitaciones en un complejo familiar tranquilo y seguro. Excelente para personas mayores o familias con niños pequeños en busca de un a apt. Que tiene tanto un patio grande jardín para disfrutar, así como la hermosa playa cercana.

Ambas habitaciones están muy bien amuebladas con cómodas camas, A / C, ventiladores de techo y armarios. La cocina está totalmente equipada y bien equipada con platos y utensilios. Fuera de la cocina es un salón muy cómodo con televisión grande y un comedor que se sienta cómodamente 5. El comedor da a un gran jardín de patio donde se puede utilizar nuestra gran parrilla de leña, disfrutar de una comida al aire libre o descansar en la hamaca. También hay un baño al aire libre con ducha para lavar la arena antes de volver en el apartamento. Además, tenemos baterías de energía solar como respaldo, por lo que si la red eléctrica se cae, seguimos adelante.

Beach Getaway

Beach within walking distance. Staff is friendly and made themselves available when you needed them. Stores and restaurants within walking distance. Apartment could use some updating, otherwise very roomy and comfortable. Short ride to Old San Juan area and other beaches.

Just what we wanted

Great location a literal stones’ throw from the ocean. Nice yard/deck/ breezeway to relax in. Nice restaurants and protected beach in short walks. Easy access with onsite parking. Great hosts.

Excellent location

The property is in a nice location—close to the beach and local amenities, and the price was reasonable. However, we were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness upon arrival. The space did not feel properly cleaned, which took away from the overall experience. With better upkeep, this could be a great place to stay.

Best of everything

Location was perfect, not far from Old San Juan, close to some fantastic restaurants, market and major arteries around town and the rest of the island. Property was as described, bedrooms comfortable, kitchen was adequately appointed for meals. Options for outside sitting, dining, etc. were great and listening to the ocean waves! The beach was a short walk and great for swimming, with shade trees for comfort. But the best thing of all was John, the host. Friendly, informative, helpful, interesting, communicative, responsive, and made the experience so delightful. We will be back.

Comfortable, safe & convenient location

Exactly like the photos, the best feature was the view of the ocean/lush vegetation from the deck in the back, short walk to the beach and very safe entrance system. Danielle went above & beyond to make sure that all our needs were met even though we unexpectedly ended up arriving around 3am. Two minor issues-that may or may not be important to most-but that I’d have liked: more water pressure in the shower and umbrellas for some shade in the deck where we wanted to spend the most time but not at the expense of strong UV sun rays.

Loved our home away from home!

This was my first time ever booking a vrbo and our first time in Puerto Rico. John completely made us feel at home and gave us tips to make our stay even better. Super easy to communicate with him. Well equipped kitchen and we had all the towels we needed for oir beach vacation, even beach chairs. The AC was perrrrfect. I would stay here again without hesitation! Super close to the beach too!

This property offers the best of both worlds. You stay in urban San Juan, with Carolina beaches and restaurants steps away. The airport is 10 minutes away, and the Old City is 25 minutes away. On the other hand, you stay in a beautiful house with ocean views that feel like a private, secluded villa. A new deck is awesome! We had our breakfast with an ocean view under palm trees. It was our third time staying with John. Hands down, he is the best host I've stayed with! His response was almost immediate, and he was the most accommodating host I stayed with.

We had an incredible stay. John was very attentive to any needs we had. He gave excellent recommendations and he lives on site so is readily available. There were lots of beach toys and some chairs available for use. The ocean is literally across the street and a short walk along the shore gets you to a safer swimming area. Some reviews talk about it being outdated but I would disagree. It’s not a luxury 5 star resort, it’s a nice Puerto Rican apartment in walking distance to many great restaurants and coffee shops! We will 100% consider coming back in the future!

For our 3rd trip to San Juan, this has by far been the best place we have stayed. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The host is super friendly and ready with suggestions. And you can’t beat the location.

Great Location

John was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating he lives at the property, which is nice should you need anything. The property was much as expected from the picture's it is very dated. The mattresses are old and the pillows in the 2nd bedroom were very uncomfortable, the towels provided are not the best and the hand towels and tea towels need to be replaced. It was good to have beach towels and the use of beach chairs. The location is what is appealing especially for the price. There is a great place to sit and watch the waves and drink coffee in the morning and close to a cove to safely swim. if you want to sit on the beach on rental sun loungers that requires you walk either the main road or negotiate the rocks at the cove and follow the beach about 20 mins. The beaches are beautiful. It is a safe location with many restaurants and is very convenient for the airport. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and with a few updates it would greatly improve that experience.

Paradise in Puerto Rico

From the minute that we arrived we were made to feel extreme welcome. The apartment is perfect with the two bedrooms and additional communal space for relaxing. Everything we could have needed was provided in the kitchen and an assortment of spare toiletries showed a generous nature that began with the host had extended to previous people that had stayed. Advice was given when sought, and was invaluable in seeing beyond the immediate tourist side of PR. There was an obvious pride and love of PR that radiated from the host, making the stay warm, welcoming and unique. A huge thank you, we really hope we can go back again someday !

My stay at Punta Las Marías

My very first trip to Puerto Rico was the best trip ever, the location was great! the apartment was very cozy a home away from home. I felt safe and secure and the Host Mr. Lombardo was the best, he made us feel welcomed, he gave us excellent tips on where to eat and visit. He was very knowledgeable and very respectful. Even through this last storm Mr. Lombardo whipped into action to make sure we were not inconvenienced or affected by tropical storm Fiona. It was due to his amazing pre planning as stated in the apt description of having backup power. He kept us informed and safe, it was like a oasis totally oblivious of the effects that was reported on the storm by the news. I would totally stay at any of Mr. Lombardo's properties, and recommend that if you are looking for someplace safe and clean and comfortable enough to be home. Book with Mr. Lombardo you'll have the best time! I've been home for 2 days and when anyone asks about my trip I tell them Mr. Lombardo's properties are the way to go. and oh wait it's AFFORDABLE!

The place its not cleaned as announced.

The place its moldy,dirtyand the Bbq still had last tenant burned food. We had to wash the sheets before using the beds. The kitchen and bathroom had pest problems, the bed in first room has a deep whole in the center. The Cabinet of board games has a faul smell. We had to desinfect everything with bleach and desinfectant spray. I took pictures of all in details, if anyone need to see what I experienced. I also experience a verbal racial comment concerning my son. It was really out of taste, completely inappropriate. I wanted to leave on arrival but no one understands when you have to deal with family that is mentally challenged, this ordeal was hard, too bad people can only see physical disabilities. A last minute change of place was impossible since you are requiered to pay before travel in full. Never again.

Amazing stay in Puerto Rico

Another great stay!

This is our first time staying at Johns downstairs property. We stayed at the upstairs property on our last visit. We enjoyed this one just as much as the last. The patio was a perfect area to unwind after a long day. There was an island wide power outage for the first 48 hours of our trip, but this property had solar power so we experienced little inconvenience. The skate park and botanical garden next door were a great place to stroll around in. The swimming cove just down from the house was perfect. The wind made for extremely rough ocean conditions, but the area behind the rocks was calm and gave the kids some beach time. The music from the near by club was a little loud on Sunday night, but that’s no fault of the property owner. Thought I would mention it just in case you have family members or children that might frown upon “city noises”. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Apartment w/Convenient Location & Beautiful Views in a Seconds Walk

The apartment was adorable and is very well kept. John was very helpful and nice too. If we had questions or needed anything he was available to be contacted. The apartment itself was perfect for us and my dad who is handicapped (in a wheelchair). The ocean is within seconds of a walk and everything else is extremely close. It’s location has a little bit of everything for everybody that can be walked to, as well. If driving, there are a lot of activities within minutes is the apartment too. My family and I were very happy with it and will definitely be coming back again to stay, if John gives us the opportunity. We were treated like family and not just tenants which made our experience in Puerto Rico that much more amazing. If your looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend this apartment.

We try to combine our knowledge and appreciation of Puerto Rio with our experience as travelers when we meet and communicate with our guests. Besides the best known tourist attractions, we try to identify other more unique opportunities that our guests may enjoy and contribute to making their trip special, depending on their interests.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The house is located in a very unique neighborhood. It's a beach area within a short walk to two great beaches. On weekends, plenty of families can be seen walking to enjoy a fun day in the sun and sand. It's urban, with restaurants, a supermarket and clubs nearby. And yet their is plenty of green with palm trees, tropical pines and bougainvillea all around.

This is a 2 bedroom / 1 bath apt in a small family complex with two other furnished apts available for larger groups. In total there are 5 bedrooms that can be combined for a fun family get together. Our garden patio area is a spacious, breezy part ot the house to relax or plan an outdoor dinner.
