I agree with the previous reviewers that Nadia Sue is a delightful host. It pains me to have to write this honest review of her place. This “apartment” is in the basement. The windows do not open to an outside view. It is not air-conditioned. Our bedroom was on the margin of comfort at night with a fan on. This was mid-June with the highest heat of summer yet to come. The beds were comfortable, and the living area ok. Here is the worst part. You literally share your living space with her. You enter through a common door and share a small kitchen upstairs. When she showed us the kitchen, all she showed was the coffee setup. I’m assuming that we were not allowed to cook, but we did not need to. There is a private refrigerator in the basement, which she stocked with bottled water. The biggest problem is that there is literally no door between your space and hers. She has a locking screen door to protect her space, but you cannot close or lock your space. Because her security door is a screen door, you can hear everything going on upstairs, but, more importantly, she can hear everything in your living space, unless you go into a bedroom and close the door. You have no privacy. This is a clear violation of VRBO policies. Had I known these details, we would not have booked it. It is just not suitable for VRBO. So, to summarize: Nadia Sue is a wonderful, delightful host, but her property is inappropriate as a VRBO.
