Para disfrutar de la época más preciada del año, sus vacaciones, Cape Coral, ubicado en la costa oeste de Florida, es el lugar de vacaciones ideal para una estancia relajante inolvidable. Recientemente construida en 2011, la casa de vacaciones Villa Santa Mónica se encuentra en un atractivo vecindario de Cape Coral, no lejos del río Caloosahatchee que desemboca en el Golfo de México en esta área. El alquiler del bote es opcional con la casa y le brinda posibilidades ilimitadas para explorar las islas circundantes como la isla Sanibel, la isla Captiva y la playa de Fort Myers, que son fáciles y rápidas de llegar en bote. Encontrará playas escondidas y vacías a las que no se puede acceder en coche. No se requiere una licencia de navegación en Florida, pero debe tener algunas experiencias con la navegación. Family getaway

Fantastic home. Well stocked, clean, lots of bathrooms. The pool stayed warm on cooler days. Nice park to walk to about a mile away. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Bikes that actually worked. All in all terrific!

Great place great location

Awesome place with great people who run it. Everything you need for a nice getaway. Publix grocery and spirits right across the road. Awesome pool and hot tub. Amazing house and bathrooms. Lots of room and a great atmosphere in the common areas. Tiki area on the dock is nice and low key. Would stay again.

Also mir hat dieses übersichtliche und sehr funktionale Haus gut gefallen, auch wenn es kleiner ist als es die Bilder vermuten lassen, was speziell für den Pool gilt. Den Zustand würde ich als leicht wartungsbedürftig bezeichnen. Die Ausstattung ist mittel: Fahrräder, Kanus und schnelles Internet vorhanden, beim TV wollte aufgrund des Alters keine Freude aufkommen, ein Gerät war defekt, Seifen- und Spülmittelreste, angebrochenes Toilettenpapier. Das geht bei diesem Preis anders. Die Nachbarschaft ist freundlich, aber es ist recht laut, weil das Haus nur knapp 200 Meter von der Hauptstrasse entfernt liegt. Ärgerlich war, dass der Pool vor unserer Anreise nicht geprüft wurde. Eine Woche hat es gedauert bis der Pool sauber, kühl und klar war inklusive lärmender, permanent laufender Pumpe und täglichem Technikerbesuch. Fünf Tage konnten wir den Pool gar nicht nutzen. Das tut weh, wenn man viel Geld bezahlt und nur 14 Tage Jahresurlaub hat. Zwar wurde uns auf Forderung eine Streichung der Stromkosten von knapp 160 Dollar angeboten, ob das ausreichend ist, mag jeder selbst entscheiden.

Family vacation

The house and pool were wonderful. Kitchen is well equipped. The beds were not as comfortable as we desired but the home and neighborhood overall were great. Having the pool to jump into daily was a lot of fun for us all. Thank you!

Family vacation

This is a wonderful house with a lots of space and a big plus that all bedrooms are en-suite. And the master bath was amazing! How ever the smaller bedrooms could use some update, the beds were not that comfy. The house is in a good calm neighborhood and close to Publix and wonderful with all the bikes for us to use. It was perfect that the kitchen even had som spices and other small things to use for cooking. We loved to hang around the pool during the day and had our meals around the big table outside by the pool. I’m a bit disappointed that the chair down at the Tiki hut still wasn’t replaced so there were only 3 chairs so we didn’t get to use that so much. Be aware that the electric bill will be quite high with the air conditioner running. Over all this is a great house and we would absolutely recommend it!

Good place to relax

Only issue we had was beds and bedding need updated. Mattresses not very comfy. Home had pretty much everything you need for your stay. We couldn’t get whole house speakers to work and when we texted number in manual no one responded but luckily we packed a beach speaker we used. No pool towels so pack your own. Also need a smaller pool net for skimming floaters but that really wasn’t a huge deal. Home was well maintained but bedrooms could use some updating. We had a small issue with pool bathroom toilet overflowing but we’re able to fix ourselves but probably should be looked at for future guests. Overall our experience was pretty good.

Nice place, needs updated pictures and a little love

First and foremost, this is a beautiful property, with tons of space, and a beautiful lanai. Having said that, the pictures you see online are a bit outdated and don't show the current condition of everything. For example, the tiki hut is showing its age and is need of repair. There were only 3 chairs at the tiki hut and one of them had a repair done with duct tape. The chairs that were on the deck in the pictures aren't on the property (fish chairs) and if you were looking forward to playing ping-pong, you'd find the table is warped from being outside. Beyond that, there are a number of things that need to be addressed. As others have mentioned, the hot tub is inconvenient to use given that the control pad by the hot tub doesn't work. You have to use the control panel to use the tub and getting to the control panel isn't easy. The patio chairs only had cushions on one or two of the chairs, making them uncomfortable to sit on. Inside the house, it would be nice to have slightly nicer/better towels and bedding. For convenience of the renters, it would also be nice to have a few laundry and dishwasher pods (we bought laundry pods and left them for the next visitors) as well as extra toilet paper and paper towels (we bought both and left it for the next renters). In addition, it would be nice to have at least a hotel sized bar of soap in the showers so you don't have to run to the store upon arrival to make sure you can shower in the morning. Having said that, this is a very nice home that definitely had money put into it. The floors are very nice and all of the bedrooms having their own dedicated bathroom is very nice. The pool was great as well. Overall, we had a great stay and we really enjoyed our week there.

Great house for a family holiday!

Overall the house itself was spectacular. It was spacious and accommodated our family over Christmas week. It was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed from kitchenware to beach towels. Our five kids range from 16-25, some were in the area and visited us daily. The house was a fun place to entertain. The beds were just okay, I would expect a little better quality mattress. There were no mattress pads on some of the beds. The one main issue we did have was the operation of the spa/pool. I will say the property management company compensated for the issue. I am satisfied with how they handled it. Unfortunately, the pool/spa does not have written instructions on how to operate it, which would have been helpful to know how to heat it on our first night. I now understand when others say it was a pain to operate. You should know it requires getting up on a platform on uneven ground. It was not an issue for us but I can see for some it would be difficult. On the second night, the pool filter stopped filling. We had to wait for the tech to come to fix the problem a few days later. It was Christmas, I didn't expect anyone to come out. The property managers were very kind and easy to work with.

Amazing

The house has 4 bedrooms each with a full bath. The pool/spa is saltwater which I loved. The lanai is not slippery like some, which was very nice. The bikes were great, it was really hot outside for riding, so mornings were the best time. I rented a pontoon boat for 3 days that we tied to the dock. However, it took an hour of driving, in the no wake zone, to get to the bridge, where you can open it up and go fast. Keep in mind the horsepower of the boat, ours was 50hp, and the fastest speed was 12 mph. Ping pong, fooseball and the board with hook game were all on lanai. Everyone had fun. I can’t say enough good things. The most important part was the quick action from the property manager, Sven. Sven texted me or called me back if I had a question and was awesome. Loved this house!

Wonderful home

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home. It was very comfortable for our group of 8 (2 families of 4). The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The home is spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed the pool and access to the water. The property manager was very responsive. I highly recommend it!

Amazing house with great view.

Property was amazing. Easy check in and out. Nice pool and hot tub. We could not get the dishwasher to work so we had to was everything by hand. That was probably the worst of our vacation. Also washer had a fowl Oder upon check in and the one bedroom door doesn’t work correctly. Just can’t close it all the way or you’ll get stuck in. And the hose by the dock has a constant tant leak. Just want you to be aware of

Beautiful house- need maintenance

The house was beautiful and the location perfect. There were several things that needed to be fixed within the home, all of which were maintenance issues with appliances, pool salt system, and basic upkeep. There were a few things that needed to be fixed that we needed to pay attention to. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay.

Needs small fixes

The house is beautiful and has lots of potential, however it was not clean upon arrival. The dishes were all dirty that were put away. The dishwasher didn't work so we hand washed everything. The dryer door will not shut so we had to place a chair in front of it to get the dryer to work properly with the door shut. A couple bedrooms had Nasty sheets, with what looked like peanut butter on them. Hand towels that were folded and put away were also dirty with things on them. The neighborhood and pool is very nice though. The grill they have also needs a new ignition switch. It's very finnacky and needs pressed numerous times. Which was dangerous because gas is just building up. The house is nice but overall our stay was a little rough. That's why I gave it two stars. They need to fix some things and fire the cleaning person. You pay a nice cleaning fee, so I would expect it to be clean...the hot tub can also only be used for 45 minutes at a time or it effects the pool? Lots of small things that may not seem like a big deal until you stay there for a week.

Nice location, house had nice layout

Pros: location, quiet neighborhood, layout of home was great for 3 adult couples, salt water pool and hot tub were nice. Master suite is awesome. Prompt response when we called with an issue. Fun fishing. Nice couch in family room for 6 seated comfortably. Enjoyed the tiki hut. No mosquitoes. Cons: appliances need updating, ice maker did not work thru door, oven temp is way too low, dryer door was falling off but was promptly repaired after we called, missing garage door opener upon arrival (Sven promptly got us one). Chandelier over dining table hasn’t been cleaned in a long time :). Mattresses in smaller rooms so so. Boat was reserved but was broken, upholstery is torn and boat was dirty. Got refund promptly. 9
