Welcome to Casa Manzanita! This completely renovated 100 yr old adobe in the heart of old downtown showcases the unique style of southern NM, it has elements of old Mexico but all the modern convenience of a new build. This home is in the heart of the old downtown of Las Cruces. Close to restaurants, galleries and Las Cruces`s famous Farmers market.
There are 2 king beds and 2.5 bathrooms. The ensuite bathrooms are both shower baths. There is a full, stocked, beautifully appointed kitchen, a dining table which seats 5, Talavera tile throughout, a kiva fireplace, and a large 2 car garage. There are streaming TVs in both bedrooms and the living room.
Guests have access to the entire property without restriction. Guests are also only 10 minutes away from New Mexico State University and 55 minutes from the El Paso International Airport. Guests also can make a 50-minute trip to the beautiful White Sands National Park. At the park you can enjoy hiking, sledding down the dunes, and enjoying the sunset.
We are a local small Real Estate Company (Rethink Real Estate LLC) who manages Airbnbs, we have a full staff to assist you during your stay.
We are not on the premises, but the primary host along with co-hosts are available majority of the time and are quick to answer any questions or help with any issues on the app in your message thread. We also have an office in Las Cruces running during the day from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM for your convenience.
Please do understand that this property is in the heart of the old downtown. While this makes it possible to walk to a restaurant or the Farmer`s Market, it is an uneven neighborhood. It is a neighborhood in transition, so you will see beautiful renovations of old adobes and you will see the old adobes that are still waiting their turn. The neighborhood is filled with original Las Cruces families, galleries, restaurants, people walking their dogs, a park nearby, and many other wonderful things. It is also a middle of the city neighborhood and all that comes with that. You will sometimes see dogs roaming free, you will walk by people going to the food pantry. It`s a mix and a wonderful place, but if you are more suited to a gated community, this might not be your place. As a personal side note, to advocate for the neighborhood, our real estate office is around the corner, we love it here!
***This is a house, not an apartment, and it has a patio, not a balcony as it is a one-story home, but VRBO keeps changing the settings.
