Cozy resort community apartment

Definitely as advertised. Clean and welcoming, very nice for a getaway retreat. Close to restaurants and amenities of Surf City, as well as both the bay and beach. Loved it!

Kris’ place was exactly as described. The space was neat and clean. It’s cozy but was perfect for my mother and I for the weekend. It’s a short walk to both the beach and the Bay. The outdoor decks are nice to soak up some sun and the neighbors were all very friendly! If we come back we would definitely stay here again.

Long weekend stay

We had a great time. The place was very inviting, clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. Loved having 2 decks so there was always shade if we wanted it. Check in was easy and Kris provided all the information we needed. Would definitely recommend this place.

We have stayed at Kris’ place for three straight years on our annual trip to Surf City. Perfect location on a quiet side street in easy walking to distance to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. The house is spotlessly clean. Great layout. Great hosts. The kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances and utensils. They really take good care of the place. New deck furniture was much appreciated this year! We will be back next summer.

Simple and convenient location

Our second time at this rental - checks all the boxes, a clean and simple place to stay and a quick walk to the beach. We make a point of cooking for ourselves instead of dining out and the kitchen gets the job done.

This is the top floor of an old shore house. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials. House is walkable to the bay, but really you need to drive to the ocean side, though a 3 minute drive. They have a dual Keurig/drip coffee pot and hair dryer there which wasn't listed in the ad. The main concern we had was the railing on the deck facing the road. It is very wobbly on all sides and we were afraid to get near it, as the whole thing would come crashing down. House is perfect for 2-3 people for a nice weekend away.

Perfect for our needs

We loved at stay here. My husband and I brought our one year old here to visit LBI near our family’s rental and this place was perfect for us (affordable, clean). The living space was very clean. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed (though we didn’t cook too much here). The bedroom was big and perfect for us to put a pack-in-play farther away from our bed. The AC was always working great and we all slept well. Queen bed was comfortable and felt clean. The outdoor shower was very nice and we used it daily instead of the inside shower. The cleaning crew did a great job because everything felt really clean, especially the inside of the fridge and the kitchen. It’s more of a low key beach spot than a fancy rental but we loved it. Would definitely stay here again!

My stay was great. The location was great. The host even included beach passes to use. The bayside sunsets were breathtaking. We had plenty of space in and outside. Highly rated.

Simple and no hassle beach vacation spot

We've been to this property several summers now and it always does the trick for us: conveniently close to a great stretch of beach, a chilled out neighborhood, privacy to relax on our own schedule, and a clean kitchen and bbq grill to cook our own meals for the week. Will be back!

needs a new cleaning service

We loved the patios and the living/dining/kitchen area was nice. Our issue was the cleanliness. I had to wipe the food/drink stains off the cupboard doors. The soap dish in the bathroom was coated with dried soap-same with the edge of the tub and shower wall. The bedroom area had a lingering "wet dog" odor. The location however, was very quiet and the walk to the beach was short.

Great little spot with all the essentials

This was an extremely clean, well kept and updated apartment that was perfect for a couple to share. We had a hard time finding a place that met all of our needs in LBI: proximity to the beach, a good kitchen and grill for cooking, affordability and a modest minimum number of nights required to book. Our experience with LBI rentals tend to be spaces that are quaint but really outdated with bare minimum amenities - but this spot was a refreshing change of pace, highly recommended!

Wonderful and easy!

My family (husband and 2 kids) stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing experience!! The place was very cute and clean. My 4 year old daughter slept in the twin bed and I brought a pack and play for my 1.5 year old son. We all fit perfectly in the bedroom. The living room/kitchen was gorgeous. The apartment had a nest they kept the place very cool and comfortable. The walk to the beach was easy even with all the equipment that we brought. Wish we could have stayed longer because it was a delight stay. Kris was very responsive and answered all questions prior and during our stay with great promptness. I would highly recommend staying in the apartment or with Kris again. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful!

This was the first time I have ever rented a summer home. I was very pleased with Kris and his prompt responses whenever I reached out to him. Between him and the HomeAway app, the renting process was surprisingly easy. The home was perfect! Very clean, organized and adorable. We also could not have asked for a better location! It took only a few minutes to walk to the beach which we were provided passes to. I will definitely rent from Kris again.
