Nice, comfortable place to stay. Listing was accurate and price was fair. The host was quick to respond and always very helpful. One thing to note: sometimes Google maps would navigate to a resident-only gate, which our gate codes couldn't access. Make sure to navigate to the main gate address, which is sent in the hosta's welcome messages. My only complaints are minor. There were salt and pepper shakers, but neither was filled. The bathrooms were stocked, but there weren't any extra rolls of toilet paper and the small bars of soap were insufficient. These obviously aren't a big deal-- I only mention them as feedback for the host.

Although I wasn't able to take this trip due to an unexpected death in my family, I still wanted to leave a positive review based on my experience with the property and booking process.Prior to my trip, everything about the reservation went smoothly, and I was genuinely looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn, and I was unable to travel. While I understand that travel insurance is available for situations like this, I had every intention of making the trip when I booked.Thankfully, a family member was able to use the reservation, which helped minimize my loss. My only suggestion for improvement would be to consider offering some flexibility for guests experiencing major life events, such as a death in the family, even when travel insurance was not purchased. I believe that would make an already great experience even better. That said, my family member enjoyed the stay, and I was very impressed with the property, the area, and the overall experience. The quality of the accommodations and location left a great impression, and I would absolutely consider booking again in the future. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay.

Loved the privacy and convenience of a home feel stay without any hassle. Everything was clean and equipped with all cookware and dishes including topper wares to store leftovers. All sort of shopping stores, gift shops, foods places and groceries just under 1-2 miles, perfectly located. Will return here again for future vacations.

Enjoyed our stay!

Over all we were pleased with our stay. We did have trouble getting in touch with someone with a couple of concerns that we had in the middle of our stay. Not a lot off cooking/baking pans, had to be creative when cooking a larger meal. Great location. We really enjoyed spending time at the Hide Away area.

Overall a nice place. I wished they would left cleaning supplies to clean. There was a mop and bucket but nothing else besides water. It also would have been nice for whomever decides to enter the attached pool to identify themselves and wear something that identifies them as a cleaner. This guy came into the private pool attached and would not identify himself just kept getting closer to me and my 8 year old while we was in the private pool. Tried to show me something on google from his phone and still refused to leave or step back. Then dumped something red in the pool while my daughter was in it and wouldn’t tell us what it was. Needless to say it ruined the stay and my daughter did not feel comfortable to go back out there to swim. We only booked this location because of the private pool.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the property overall to be a nice place to stay. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding additional cleaning supplies, and we will certainly take that into consideration for future guest experience improvements. We sincerely apologize for the uncomfortable experience you and your daughter had during the pool service visit. The pool company services the property weekly to maintain the pool properly, and we do send a reminder message to guests on the morning of the scheduled service. However, we completely understand your concerns regarding communication and identification during the visit. We will be addressing this directly with the pool company to ensure technicians clearly identify themselves, communicate respectfully with guests, and provide a better experience moving forward. The red substance added to the pool was part of the routine pool treatment process, but we understand how alarming that may have been without proper explanation. We truly regret that this situation impacted your stay and your daughter’s comfort in using the private pool, especially since it was an important part of your booking experience. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Wonder Vacation Homes

Great stay

The pool, lazy river, and slides were great for all. The Townhome was just as described. I had messaged the management team that the home was missing the pot from the coffee pot. I messaged at around 7:00am and it was shortly after 8:00am that someone showed up with a new coffee maker. Great service.

Disney Experience

The 'Great Gatsby' location was great fpr a Disney experience. 25 minutes was our longest drive with traffic included. The neighborhood was quite and it looked to be visitors and not residents. Place was clean and equipped with what was needed. Loads of ants outside but thats hard to control. Barcode never worked to open the gate, we had to call the security everytime. No one ever came to fix our tv issues is our biggest negative.

Thank you for being our guest. Yes, Storey Lake Resort has a lot of popularity and the guest wait lines to enter the community are long, because every guest has to go through the main entrance. QR codes are not for the back entrance, this entrance is only for owner so bar codes will not work there. If it is in the front and the bar code does not work, this is their system and we do not have control over it, but the guards are present 24/7 to assist. We are sorry that the TV was not fixed in time, something like this has to go through the owner. We hope we can serve you even better next time.

Damage police

I felt i had to document every existing scratch as they threaten to charge for everything & anything and it’s true! I have no towel in my luggage - so where did the extra towel they charged me for go?
Se alojó 11 noches en marzo de 2023
Respuesta de VrboOwner el 18 de jun de 2025
Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, our policy about damages is a standard reminder to guests that any missing or damaged items will need to be replaced to maintain the quality of the home for future guests — it is not meant as a threat. Regarding the missing towel, we only charge for items that are unreturned or damaged, and since it was not found after your stay, it had to be replaced. We appreciate your understanding. — Wonder Vacation Homes

Very dirty

This property 4841 was very dirty the sinks was clogged all up the whole time we was there in the bathrooms and they would not come unclog them .. The dishwasher racks was broke. Had dry blood stains on the sheets.. The bathroom baseboards look like they’ve not been wiped off and months… definitely needs a good clean job and updating.. when we contact them they said we didn’t report it and I reported it several times to get new sheets and to unclog the sink

Nice property

The property itself was nice, clean and updated. We appreciated the washer & dryer. Getting to some details, the pillows were pretty hard and the beds were a bit hard as well, but that is being pretty picky. The living room didn't have enough space for our group of 6 and it wasn't the most comfortable furniture, but was all clean and update. The most difficult part of our stay was the communication I had with Wonder Vacation Homes regarding their policy for the person who makes the reservation and pays...they require a verification of that person by sending a copy of a form of identification along with the front and back of the credit card used...all over email. I refused to do that after having card fraud twice in the last 6 months. It seemed like the perfect circumstance to open up to fraud once again. I would think they could come up with a better, more secure way of verification. I was told I could do this at their office in Kissimmee upon arrival instead of emailing all of that information and that they would be open until 4 pm on our day of arrival. Once we got to the office location at approximately 3 pm, no one was there. Thankfully, I could send a message through the app and luckily someone was still responding. I was told everyone "left early for the day". I thought we were stuck with no place to stay for a bit, but the person told me again to send a pic of an ID and the front/back of my credit card...ugh! I ended up texting the info to that person's personal phone and then received the code to access the home. It all worked out in the end but was quite frustrating and stressful.

Great find

Condo was exactly as advertised. Close proximity to Orlando attractions. Quiet area, and neighbors. Amenities were great as well (pool, lazy River, gym, etc.) Only complaint which could have definitely been user error was the HVAC was impossible to keep on cool setting for any extend period of time- which was less than ideal for overnight. Overall was very impressed and would most certainly stay again and recommend!
