I had to come down for a film project and looked for a place near the location to stay. This VRBO was perfect for our needs. The condo is cozy and welcoming. I slept very well each night we were there, the beds were very comfortable.The location was ideal for me, only minutes from the location where we filmed, but also very convenient to Clearwater Beach and other areas on that side of Tampa Bay. Also very convenient to shopping, groceries, etc.Paul, the landlord, was very easy to get in touch with and very gracious. Check in and check out was a breeze. I am very thankful for him and his attentiveness.

Poor communication with host, didn’t know there was a code to get into the building & we got there late. Needless to say after a12 hour drive we didn’t want to stand outside waiting to get into building. Host didn’t answer. Someone just happened to come over &share entry code with us. Next problem, code for front door quit working after first day so we were unable to lock door when we left & had to take our valuables with us everytime we left condo. There was no body soap/wash so we had to use our shampoo until we could get soap. We had 3 washcloths between 3 of us which was terrible. We didn’t have enough toilet paper either. Also we almost needed a wrench to turn the shower on in both baths. The linens were all shabby & worn out plus I got eaten up by something in master bed which I figured was fleas but not sure. We changed the sheets which only helped minimally. I know the bites came from the bed because they started biting me the night we got there & we didn’t go anywhere except the condo on the first night. Carpet felt damp& the condo smelled musty &/or mildewed. It was marketed as Executive condo& it was far from that! The condo needs some renovations/upgrades to be marketed as “Executive”. Overall bad experience.

The host had the wrong phone number for me so sent the check in instructions to the wrong number. My profile has the correct number so not sure how this happened. We were able to connect after I contacted vrbo. I rented this place for myself and an employee while we took some business courses. At the last minute I was unable to go so my employee checked in and found all the windows open and the air conditioner set to 66 degrees. She reported there was a "funky" smell as well. After looking around, she discovered long black hairs all over the floor, a wad of black hair on the bed, a thick layer of dust on the bed and pillows, a dirty kitchen floor, and very dirty walls around the entrance. There were also a lot of bugs in the apartment, probably because the windows had been left open. I messaged the host on Tuesday night and he didn't respond until Wednesday. He said he was going to send his cleaner over. on Tuesday night, I let him know that my employee didn't feel safe staying there because it looked like there had been a problem with the lock on the unit door and she wasn't happy about the cleanliness of the condo. She ended up staying with a relative 45 minutes away.Wednesday the host said his cleaner had checked the apartment and my complaints were "not valid". We have pictures of everything and I sent them to the host. He just kept saying that nobody ever complained about the front door and that the pictures I sent didn't "show cause". He refused tany refund.

We never reply to reviews, but this reviewer must have a reply. 1st: She lied from day one, booking for her staff and not for herself which is against policy. And it was her staff member that wrote this review, not the account member. 2nd: The day of the arrival we couldn't reach the client because the telephone wasn't listed to the staff member, and she herself didn't pick up. Causing confusion for us. 3rd: Her staff member wanted to be on the beach, not off the beach and started falsely making accusations about the property (lying) for a refund. 4th: Threatening with a bad review if we don't give her a refund
