Apartamento completo en el primer piso de aproximadamente 1000 pies cuadrados. (Los propietarios viven en el segundo piso) Espacio muy privado y tanto los propietarios como los inquilinos tienen su propia entrada. Lugar de diversión lleno de comodidades: lavadora / secadora / cocina / rincón de desayuno con capacidad para 4, 1 cama queen en dormitorio privado separado. Litera con dos camas individuales en la parte superior y colchón inferior de tamaño completo. Gran televisor de pantalla plana en la sala principal. Recientemente renovado en 2018. Piscina privada, amplio patio cubierto de hierba, área de recreación debajo de la casa con parrilla de gas / mesa de ping pong / hoyo de maíz / 4 bicicletas / mesa de picnic / ducha al aire libre / hamaca / sillas de playa / sombrilla y ahora con 2 SUP (tablas de paddle stand up). Parque del vecindario a pocos pasos con cancha de baloncesto / columpios / toboganes / campo de fútbol. Hermosa playa de Southern Shores a unas 2 1/2 cuadras de distancia. Las playas de Southern Shores están restringidas a propietarios, inquilinos y misiones. Se proporcionará un pase de aparcamiento privado gratuito. Los propietarios compartirán el espacio exterior ocasionalmente con respecto a la privacidad de todos.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay with Chris and JB. They were very accommodating, and the cabin was perfect for our family. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and the beach was only a five minute walk. We would stay here again for sure!

Great Property and Friendly Owners

The property was very clean and very well maintained. It had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The pool was perfect when not wanting to go to the beach but still have the option to swim, cool down, and be outside. The owners were very friendly and it's obvious that they care and maintain their property.

Awesome beach rental

This beautiful beach house comes with everything you need and then some. The pool is great for the kids and beach is just a short walk away. The owners live upstairs and are super nice. Absolutely recommend to everyone. We had a great time and hope to come back next summer.

A great and relaxing time!

Our family had a great time! The property was exactly as described and clean, which was important to us! Our girls had so much fun in the pool and with the ping pong table. There were extra beach chairs and an umbrella at the property that we were able to use which were a big help! Chris and JB were great hosts and always communicated in a timely manner both before and during our stay. We hope to visit the OBX soon and will have this property at the top of our list!

Best accommodations and hosts on the Outer Banks!

It’s so much more than just a vacation! It is a home away from home in a perfectly appointed 1 bedroom apartment that is private, peaceful and so homey I did not want to leave. The hammock, the pool, the outside space is fabulous! The beach is a 3 minute drive with parking. You are out of the main hustle and bustle so you get to truly relax! The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless and there was nothing I needed that wasn’t already there! Chris and JB were amazing! They gave me privacy, but were there with a smile and conversation for this solo vacationer when I wanted it! Everything was perfect and I will be back next year for sure!

Family Vacation

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our 7 year old daughter and 15 year old son. The separate new apartment we also rented on site allowed extra space to spread out and provided an additional bathroom. We loved the location since it was easy to get in and out, and didn’t have to sit in all the weekend traffic. Southern Shores beaches seem to be less crowded, yet still close to all the attractions in Duck, etc. The owners are extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. They definitely strive to put their guests first. The accommodations are very clean, well equipped, organized, and relaxing/quiet. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, outside shower, and gorgeous pool. I would highly recommend for any family. The separate new apartment available for rent would also be excellent for a couple that wants to enjoy the Outer Banks in privacy without needing to share a bigger house with others. This beauty property offers many choices, and we hope to be back soon.

Amazing OBX Gem

We were looking for a vacation spot for a few days away in the Outer Banks. A bit hesitant at first since this was our first time considering a rental by owner. The selling points were all the great amenities and the pictures of this beautiful home. The home has absolutely everything you need and so much more. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed in this rental space. The space was well thought out and the accommodations show it. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet area, off a main road and only a few minutes’ walk to the beach. If you are looking for other activities, those are only a few miles away by car. Although our favorite activities were simply morning walks, quiet beach time, and afternoon swimming in the pool. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning. Thank you JB and Chris for opening your home to us and making our stay so enjoyable. We really appreciated a quiet few days away to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of DC. We look forward to our next stay and another trip to the Outer Banks. Your home is a real hidden gem!

Fantastic end to our summer

We loved our stay in Southern Shores. The house is very well stocked and in great condition. The landscaping is beautiful and so are all the decorative touches. We were a bit nervous staying on sight with the owners but Chris and JB are wonderful hosts. The house is a quick walk to the beach (or bike ride). It is also very quick to drive or bike into Duck. Lovely location. Hope to be back again.

Everything you need and More...

I'm a hotel professional and believe me when I say that this property changed my prospective about home rentals in general. The property was spacious and immaculate. The amenities are countless, from beach gears to full kitchen to pool to ping pong table …. Chris and JP checked on us few times upon arrival to make sure that we are comfortable . The entire family was comfortable that my kids start calling it home. Absolutely fantastic and we will be back .

OBX's 5 star place

Words are not enough to describe the property. First JB /Chris are great hosts. They have left no stone unturned to provide a great experience for their guests away from their home. We felt as if we never left our home. The place is well kept /maintained and stands out .. Anything that a family needs for a comfortable stay is provided . Chris was very helpful with our needs . Second, the property is very close to a semi-private beach (parking permit provided) and Kitty Hawk / Duck restaurants Third, If there is any place I'd come back stay at OBX - it will be this place . Thanks JB /Chris for a wonderful vacation.

An absolutely wonderful vacation for our first time in the Outer Banks. Chris & JB were phenomenal hosts. The property was perfect for our family of 4. The swimming pool was an added bonus. Also, the location of the property was not only 5-7 min walk to the beach, but in between Duck and the activities available in Nags Head as well. We are hoping to go back next year and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to escape

It was a great experience to be able to rent this apartment (lower level of the entire house). Everything was provided as shown in the listing. JB and Chris were fantastic and took care of us and even offered a ride when rain was heavy. Feels like home!

We loved everything about this property! The owners were so generous and accommodating with their space. My family of 4 had the most relaxing vacation. Very close to the beach! Beautiful private pool. Ping pong table, Tiki Toss, beach chairs, bikes, and so much more. The kitchen and bathroom has everything you need to feel like home. Two TVs with lots of streaming options. And personal washer and dryer. We really lucked out by stumbling upon this rental. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t pass it up!! Thank you Chris and JB for your hospitality!!

The BEST Vacation Spot Ever!

My teens & I had the MOST INCREDIBLE vacation! The apartment felt like home and we had such a good time. It was extremely clean, Chris & JB could not have been nicer, the pool area and all the little extras just made this our favorite vacation. Kids rode the bikes, we lounged at the pool, felt totally at home and cannot wait to stay there again next year.

Worth It!

Would not pass this place up! Everything was great! Loved cooking on the outside grill and taking a dip in the pool anytime of day. The beach was right down the road convenient to so many things and it was beautiful! They were so accommodating and my family just loved our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful property!

My family (2 kids, 2 adults) stayed at this property last week and it was just lovely! We had everything we needed in the house and more. The kids really enjoyed playing ping pong and tiki toss and swimming in the pool! The property owners were so friendly and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. The closest beach was a little further walk than we expected but was very nice. And it was just a quick drive up to Duck for fun shopping and sight-seeing on the boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing & clean

Chris & JB are the nicest hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They are very welcoming and they have everything at their property that you could possibly think of. Having a pool right there is great for a early or late swim & the park just down the street was great for our rambunctious 2 year old. The place is clean and has everything you can think you could need. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful place and it was nice spending the small amount of time we did with Chris & JB they are kind and wonderful people!

Great little place in Duck

This was a great experience. The property was very clean and up to date. Nice and close to the beach and small drive to shops. Just beware of the traffic going into downtown Duck if going on the weekend in the summer. LOTS of cars. Probably better to just walk or ride the bikes provided by the owner. Thanks again!!

Perfect stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this home! Plenty of room for our family of four (parents and two teenagers). Short walk to the beach - beautiful, clean, sandy beach with plenty of room. Great pool to use in between beach time or after sunset. Loved playing ping pong, using the grill, sitting outside, chatting with the owners....it was all a perfect vacation!
