Barry and Connie are wonderful hosts and we highly recommend this property. We stayed for two weeks and from the start you are treated as family. We will be booking again!

Clean, friendly, convenient

We lucked out with a great weather week in Marathon and a much needed dose of warmth and sunshine. Connie was kind and helpful, the property is clean and tidy, the canal access was perfect for our boat rental, and Miss Maggie is a sweet little dog. Airport location is the only drawback, but we got used to it and did not have overnight noise.

Our winter getaway

We have been guests at this property several times and it’s always been a pleasure. Connie and Barry own the duplex and live in the other side and they are wonderful landlords and if there is any issue they respond immediately. The place has a new kitchen that looks great and provides more cabinet and countertop space and we take advantage of the washer and dryer. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

Great Central Location

Enjoyed our stay in the Middle Keys. We visited Key West and Key Largo while staying and each was a reasonable distance from this property. We got lucky and were treated to a visit from Manatees in canal about midway through our visit.

Great stay in Marathon

Our family spent 9 nights here and it was wonderful! Connie was so helpful with telling us local things to do and helped keep our kids happy. Her dog Maggie was a joy to have around. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and several visits from manatees. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

Great vacation

Little paradise rental, we loved the place and the owner Connie was so nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again and appreciate her hospitality! We enjoyed our stay and loved watching the manatees that came right up to the dock where we sat fishing! The airplane noise wasn’t bad for us as we live near Tyndall Air Force Base and we’re used to the sounds of freedom! Can’t say enough it’s a great place to stay!

Return to Aviation Road duplex

We were happy to be able to return to this charming little unit after not being able to get the dates we wanted for the last few years. This 2 bedroom duplex on the canal is comfortable, conveniently located and has a nice backyard overlooking the canal. The kitchen is adequately equipped and the place was spotlessly clean, has ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room (a must for me) and a nice bathroom. We were very glad that there is a grab bar for getting in and out of the tub. The owners live in the other half of the duplex, so if we needed anything Connie was right there with whatever we needed. We’ve already booked it for next year and hope our aging and health will allow us to return again and again.

Winter Escape

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here for two weeks Over Christmas and New Year! We brought our 23' Bay Boat with us and the canal was a great location to everywhere we wanted to go and easy dockage. We loved the house and it's location! Airport takes a little getting used to but not a real issue. The boat ramp is right down the road and very easy access. Connie was a wonderful host! She checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed several times and helped with advise on restaurants and things to do. Defiantly will be back!

Great rental in Marathon

My wife and I along with our fur baby Sophie stayed here for a week. Property was nice, easy to get to and from and allowed dogs. We plan to return next year!

Beautiful home on the canal. Comfortable, spacious and fully stocked for whatever you would want to cook, or plenty of places to eat locally if you don’t! Owners were charming, friendly people. Would certainly rent again.

A bright and comfortable home in an ideal location.

The house was perfect! It’s size was just what I wanted: not too big for one person but big enough for a friend or two to visit. The backyard was a great location to watch boats heading down the canal while enjoying the setting sun in the evening and getting a sun tan in the afternoon. The owner, Connie, made me feel welcome, and my dog Prudence got along well with Maggie, Connie’s beagle. The total experience was most enjoyable!

Very nice place, clean and spacious and everythihg was fonctional, the beds comfortable good location near pretty much everything we needed, Connie and Barry are very friendly, ( Maggie and Cobia the dogs are too ), had space to park our location boat too so we liked it a lot and will go back if we plan an other fishing trip

Relaxation

We loved the shady seating area and great view of the canal. We were treated to a manatee visit. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with a grill on the patio. Had everything we needed with great hosts.

Clean, lots of room, nice outdoor space

The property was clean and the bed was comfortable. The unit was spacious with a nice outdoor space. We only noticed a plane once or twice but it did not affect our stay or sleep. The location worked well for us as we were driving to both Key Largo and Key west. The unit is not within walking distance to anything but was a quick drive to lots of restaurants and activities. The host was very kind and we loved the little visits from their dog, Maggie. We would stay there again.
