This home, community and beach are all beautiful! This condo is well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels provided too! Location is so perfect for a relaxing and fun stay!!

Family Vacation

Condo was great, location outstanding as was pool. Lots of activities locally, we spent most of our time surfing at coasta azul breaks and snorkeling. Thursday night art walk also good. We would highly recommend and will be back again.

Fun by the ocean

Very nice modern condo. The condo was the perfect size for the five adults in our party. It is close to major highways with easy access to local attractions. The view of the ocean was great.

Wonderful accommodations!

We loved staying here with our two teenagers. There was plenty of space in the condo and an absolutely gorgeous view of the pool area and expansive beach. There were terrific restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride and a great grocery store within a few blocks. The condo itself was nicely furnished and the terrace was a terrific place to watch the sun come up & listen to the waves. We can't wait to stay here again!

Absolute best value for a condo in los Cabos

Jodi's condo is amazing. It is also very reasonably priced compared to other (similar or inferior) properties in Los Cabos. The view from the balcony is stunning and very relaxing. Communication from Jodi is flawless and very courteous. Extra bonus points for the check-in process which is as simple as it gets. All in all, this is a perfect place to Stay in San Jose del Cabo. Will definitely come back!

Stay at El Zalate from November 14 to 21 2013

This was by far the best experience I had travelling south from Canada. The accomodations were perfect, the setting grandiose and the security as good as could be expected. Needless to say, my two brothers, my son and I had a great time. I would certainly not rule out going back at some point.

Calm and Relaxing

My wife and 2 daughters and I spent 3 nights in this very nice, well-equipped condo in San Jose del Cabo. The condo has a great view of the ocean, is very comfortable, and is equipped with everything you need for a beachfront vacation. The pool area is very nice and is well-suited for quiet relaxation as well as play for fun-loving kids. The beach is quiet and beautiful, with moderate waves and excellent swimming. We loved it!

Fabulous place to stay!

We had a fabulous stay at this condo! Do not hesitate to choose this unit for your next San Jose Del Cabo visit. The location was perfect for a trip down to the pool and/or beach and we found the complex to be both relaxing and quiet. There are a couple of convenience stores and restaurants located very close-by and a much larger grocery store within walking distance. The condo kitchen was fully equipped and we didn't want for anything...it was all there! The unit was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and the view from the 5th floor was so pretty! We really enjoyed our stay. A great big "thank-you" to our hosts!

Beautiful and convenient location

We stayed at this property for our first time in San Jose Del Cabo. We enjoyed the quieter aspects of San Jose than Cabo. Condo and grounds are impeccable and staff were very helpful and friendly- condo is as it was described, beautiful and comfortable. Mi Ensalada is a great place for breakfast and the walk to the Mega mart for groceries is around 10 min. The beach is right outside the door. Location seems to attract a more mature crowd without losing it's edge to still have fun. We used Cabo Outfitters for snorkeling/kayaking and Cactus Tours for ATV tour--both picked up at El Zalate and were great. Can't wait for my next trip to San Jose del Cabo!

Sleepless nights in Reno

One week is not enough to stay here, you won't want to leave. The view is amazing, the waves lull you to sleep at night and keep you company in the morning as you relax in a comfy chair with your cup of joe on the large patio overlooking the beach. Everything you need is here, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, gorgeous large bathrooms, big screen TV, nice furniture, barbeque on the deck, you won't lack for anything. There's parking for your car or excellent bus service right out front. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk to just about anywhere you want to go. There are several restaurants closeby and a large grocery store is within walking distance. We'll be back.

Beautiful condo with amazing views

My husband and I spent 5 nights here with our college age daughters. Plenty of room for 4 people. Very clean, updated unit. Beds were very comfortable and furniture was nice. My only interior comments would be to upgrade the towels (some fraying and thin) and bedspreads (not soft to touch). The views were amazing! We sat on the balcony every morning and afternoon. Personally, we think you need a car at this location. The larger grocery store is walkable, but on a VERY busy road without sidewalks. many restaurants close by to walk or a short drive. Old town very close. The beach is beautiful and seems to go for ever. Quiet complex with nice pool and lounge chairs. We loved our stay and would happily go back.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We were absolutely delighted when we walked in the door of your wonderful condo !! It was well appointed and we loved the large balcony...immediately saw whales! Balcony was perfect for watching amazing sunrises and for some of our meals. Restaurant recommendations were good. Especially Café Sardina!! The property was immaculate , the pools were beautiful and clean [not over chlorinated]. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach was beautiful, calm when visiting , calm enough for a swim. Perfect for walks especially when tide was out. We will definetly return. Hopefully next year and for much longer!! Thank-you for vacation tips and sharing your wonderful condo with us . We had a too short, but perfect vacation!!

vacation at San Jose

We stayed in this condo for two weeks in February and enjoyed it very much. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at El Zalate, and the first at this Condo. This was by far the best one yet. The accommodation's were perfect for our family. The first week my son and our two granddaughters came to stay with us. We found the grounds are very clean and well maintained. The pool's are large and many chairs for relaxing with a great ocean view. No need to go down early to save a chair! Being on the fifth floor gave us a great view of the ocean to watch for whales, and received long hours of sun on the large deck. The condo was not lacking anything, plus an elevator right outside your door. Because we had stayed at El Zalate before we knew the area to be very safe, restaurants and shopping were very close. Security at the complex was very good and on duty 24 hrs per day. For anyone with a family this is a perfect place to stay. Jodi was very pleasant to deal with, and answered any questions we had during our initial inquiry and after. We will definitely return.

BEST CONDO AND COMPLEX

We have stayed in a few different condos in the area: Mykonos, Mira Vista and La Jolla but El Zalate and this condo has them all beat. Should have stayed here years ago. The wife and I stayed in the master, 2 teenagers in the second bedroom and another lady in the extra room. We never felt crowded at all. Most evenings were spent on the balcony or one of the 2 pools. Everything is kept up in and outside of the condo, they were actually painting while we were there. A/C, water, bed (nice and soft) and fridge were great, we kept our liquor in the freezer and our crown royal actually became slushy after a few days. We rented a car which makes it nice to drive into town for meals but there are a few places that you can walk to, Dominos Pizza did come in handy with two 17 year old boys and the mini mart Trader Dicks was nice when you didn't want to drive to the Mega for a couple of items. The owner was quick to respond and very easy to deal with and the rate was very fare for the quality that you receive. There is a manager on property if you need anything while there and she was able to arrange a late check out for us. I already sent a request in for next summer.

Delightful Stay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent 10 night stay at El Zalate. The unit is large enough to accommodate several couples easily it was just my wife and I so we had more than ample room. We really enjoyed the wonderful views from the patio. We saw whales on several days of our visit. The unit comes well supplied with essentials such as paper products, soap etc. Some rentals don't do this. The parking is easy although getting to the property is a bit tricky the first time you do it, but then it's fine. El Zalate is wonderful in that it's not a resort and has no time share sales people bothering you. The pools are great (especially the one that's heated). The beach is clean and wonderful for taking walks. Wi-fi and TV were adequate. The property management staff were helpful and the property staff, especially Lupe at the gate were really nice and friendly. Road noise can be a little be of an issue at times, but at night the sound of the waves hitting the beach were really all you heard. The property is clean, but could use a bit of sprucing up in the area of bedding and wall decor. But for the price we paid for our stay we are very very happy visitors. Thanks for the enjoyable visit. I hope we can return.

Wonderful relaxing week in San Jose del Cabo

We just got back from San Jose del cabo. today, October 21st. The condo was beautiful and comfortable for us. There were 6 adults. I slept in the master bedroom king sized bed and it was very comfortable. We loved the pools and hot tub and spent hours in them. The beach in front of the condo was beautiful but it was not swimmable for us this time year. Although there were surfers out there most days. We rented a car and I would definitely recommend it. We loved Rossy's restaurant and went twice and also loved Blue Fish restaurant for good sea food. 7 Seas was good too but pretty expensive. We loved having the car for going to the near by store La Comer to get groceries, restaurants, and beaches. Our favorite beach was Santa Maria. We saw some pretty fish snorkeling on the far right side by the rocks. We also had fun relaxing under free palapas at Palmilla beach and we were able to rent kayaks there too which we loved. The kayaks were $20 per kayak for an hour an a half. Chileno beach was swimmable too and we had a great time there. It was mostly locals as was palmilla. The condo complex was pretty empty so we felt like we had it to ourselves, which was lovely. We were almost always alone down at the pool. Overall we had a wonderful week in San Jose!

Great condo Great location

The condo was beautiful, the view fabulous. It has all the amenities anyone could want for a relaxing beach vacation. The grounds and pools are kept in tiptop shape.

Awesome Views - Quiet Location!

Beautiful, well-kept condo in a very nice community. We were here on Easter Weekend and it was very quiet and not many people. The ocean view is incredible! The condo is clean and nicely appointed. Jodi, the owner, was great to work with. Only about 10 minutes away from the quaint downtown district of San Jose Del Cabo. The beach here is wonderful and very peaceful. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway and we found it! We will definitely consider returning to this El Zalate property and recommend it to friends and relatives.

We needed a place to escape the Pacific Northwest winters. We have been traveling to Mexico for 30 years, when we saw El Zalate we knew this was the place!

Close to great beaches, food, watersports (including surfing) whale watching and golf! Close enough to enjoy the night life of Cabo, but far enough away to still have a relaxing vacation!
