Set along the tranquil frontage of Green Lake and the Betsie River, this 4,800 square foot retreat is designed with multi generational families and their pups in mind. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered for comfort, convenience, and togetherness. Eco conscious travelers will appreciate green touches such as an electric car charger, and the home is equipped with many ADA friendly and pet friendly features. The result is a space that is welcoming to all while also being stunning.

The Space:
This secluded lakefront home accommodates up to 16 guests with 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a dedicated “Mutt Room” complete with a custom doggie shower. Natural light fills the open floor plan through expansive windows, highlighting vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams.

The master suite on the main floor features a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. On the second floor you will find a family suite with a queen bed, two twin beds, and a futon couch bed. A second bedroom offers one queen and two twins, while a third has one queen and a bunk bed with a trundle, providing three twin beds.

The Great Room is anchored by a floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace with scenic lake views through the wall of windows. Above, a loft walkway connects to the expansive game room that offers a large screen TV, ping pong table, video games, board games, and its own full bathroom. From the game room, step out to a balcony overlooking the Betsie River as it flows into Green Lake.

The kitchen is fully equipped with island seating, a coffee station, and lake views. There are four full bathrooms and one half bath. Laundry is available on both the main floor and the upper level. The first floor has curb less living, including an accessible shower, with only two to three steps at the entrance.

Outside you will find a year round hot tub and a fire pit. The waterfront features a floating dock, an anchored swim raft, and a smaller dock on the river side. Kayaks are available for guest use, and a mooring ball allows safe anchoring for boats with the dock reserved for brief passenger loading and unloading. Waterfront amenities are available from Memorial Day through Labor Day mostly. Please inquire about availability of dock and other amenities outside of the summer season.

The Homeowner’s Favorite Things
“We love spending time outdoors here. The hot tub, fire pit, hammock, and time on the water, whether kayaking or paddle boarding, make every day feel special. One of our favorite features is having two docks: you can swim off one into the lake and fish off the other into the river. Our kids love the shallow riverside spot where they can see the fish right below them. Above all, we cherish the sense of privacy that makes The Point feel like our own peaceful retreat.”

Guest Access:
Winter in northern Michigan can be magical and challenging. Snow removal is provided after each snowfall of three inches or more. Guests are advised to bring a four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle for safe access during snowy weather.

The Neighborhood:
The property is close to Interlochen Academy of the Arts and Interlochen State Park. Green Lake offers excellent fishing year round, with bluegill, rock bass, sunfish, northern pike, lake trout, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass all plentiful. In the winter, you will see ice shanties on the lake.

Other Things to Note:
A Ring doorbell camera is located at the front door. All guests must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, and this will be verified after booking.

A $144 damage waiver fee is required for each stay, covering up to $1,500 in accidental damages. Intentional or excessive damage will be charged separately. A non refundable credit card processing fee applies to all reservations.

High chair and pack n play are available on request for an additional fee. Stays of 14 days or longer require a mid stay cleaning, which is also available upon request for shorter bookings.

Dogs are welcome with an additional fee, with a maximum of two per stay. Pets must remain leashed outdoors, not be left unattended inside, and owners must clean up after them. Boats may only use the dock for 15 minute passenger loading and unloading. The mooring ball just beyond the dock should be used for extended anchoring, as winds and waves can pick up quickly. There are no dock bumpers, so please use caution when bringing a boat. All guests must be 25 years or older unless accompanied by parent or guardian.
