Respire el aire fresco de la montaña y deje que sus preocupaciones se desvanezcan en el Sweet Laurel Lodge. Dormir 8, esta casa de cuatro dormitorios y cuatro baños está escondida en la reclusión boscosa del lago Toxaway y ofrece todas las comodidades del hogar. Sweet Laurel Lodge ofrece varias habitaciones para dormir, desde la cama queen size del maestro, a la reina adicional y cinco gemelas, con habitaciones selectas que tienen acceso a baños privados.

Sweet Laurel Lodge

Our family was here for a week for the first time. We loved the location, the trees, even the golf course view which was remarkably quiet. Super clean, well appointed and comfortable. Parking for five. Can't wait to get back.

My family of 6 stayed at this property to attend a family wedding. The home was absolutely perfect and even prettier than the photos. Beautifully decorated with so many lovely personal touches. Well stocked kitchen, amazing views of the golf course and comfortable, spacious rooms. Can’t wait to visit again!

Comfy, cozy Fall stay!

We so enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home in the wonderful Lake Toxaway Club community. Nestled into the trees and on the 8th hold of the golf course, we loved sitting on the back porch or lounging by the roaring fire in the family room. The fire pit area is also a great addition to all this house has to offer. With 4 large bedrooms and 4 full baths, this inviting home is perfect for a family getaway in the mountains. The help given by the property manager was great and we appreciated his assistance so much. We cannot wait to return!

They are all well supplied and in great locations near lake toxaway, the country club and high in the mountains. There are few restaurants nearby but highland and cashiers are close enough and golf is everywhere.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful weekend at Sweet Laurel Lodge. The floor plan allowed two families to spread out and “live” out of separate floors while gathering together in the well-appointed kitchen for breakfast and the living room for late night talks after the children were sent to bed. The gardens of huge rhododendron and mountain laurels was perfect for epic rounds of hide and seek. Sweet Laurel is close to the pool so we took advantage of that for dinner both nights after discovering that the pizza is amazing. We did make the 30 minute drive to Cashiers to wade in the river, slide down a waterfall and have a delicious lunch at Whiteside Brewing. Also, Rachel saved the day with her recommendation for gem mining at Bear Tracks. All of the adults and children agree that the weekend was perfect and cannot wait to come back again!

Christmas Week Retreat

Comfortable, well appointed log cabin along 8th fairway on Lake Toxaway golf course. Great kitchen, dining, and den areas in open floorplan. Easy walk to Clubhouse and Graystone Inn, 10 minute drive to US 64. Perfect for me and my wife, plus two adult children and their partners. Plenty of wood for the working fire place. It got down to 12 degrees one night, comfortable nonetheless. May do it again next Christmas.

The Toxaway Company did a perfect job and their customer service leading up to and throughout our stay was perfect. The home itself is clean and perfectly situated with a beautiful view of the golf course. It is close enough to everything we wanted to do while there. It was clean and the owners had provided all of the items one would need for a comfortable stay .. including games, children’s activities and all kitchen items. Rachel at the Toxaway Co. was so accommodating and even called to check in on us our first day. We will definitely be back and would be thrilled to rent the Sweet Laurel.

Perfect Corona Escape!

Thank you, Sweet Laurel Lodge, for the perfect Corona Escape! The house was beautifully decorated, CLEAN, and had everything you would need. We loved spending time just relaxing on the porch or hiking the nearby trails. We wish we could have stayed longer!

My husband and son are avid golfers so being on hole 8 was a major plus. The pictures make this house seem really dark and it's not. The living area was a great size and plenty of dining area. Wonderful Cottage Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful Cabin for our family of 5. Very cozy and felt like home from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic, with only a 1-2 minute drive to the Country Club, Greystone & Marina. Everything was clean and neat. Plenty of linens, blankets, towels. Having 4 bathrooms was helpful and they are clean. Loved the board games and the hook game on the deck provided hours of entertainment. It was fun watching the golfers, but tree coverage provides perfect amount of privacy. We loved the Toxaway trail for hiking with a couple of waterfalls (bring water shoes). Headwaters Outfitters in Rosman about 15-20 min away provides River tubing, canoeing & trout-fishing - excellent customer service. Rented a boat one day and that was a beautiful way to see the lake and the kiddos got a chance to swim and tube. The staff at the Marina are very accommodating. The Country Club's pool was under construction, but it looks like it will be very nice. The food there is really good. We did delivery and carry-out with Greystone - limited offerings from the bar only menu but it was okay. Only a few restaurants within 10 minutes and some are closed Sunday and Monday so make sure to reserve in advance. Definitely make sure to get groceries in Brevard or Cashiers before getting to Toxaway. There is a small grocery store 5-10 minutes from the house that has basics and Wine and Beer but I think they're only open Tue-Fri or Sat. Very nice owner who is opening a coffee shop and ice cream shop across the street. Property Management was very responsive. Explored nearby towns. Cashiers is casual and Highlands is really nice and offers more upscale restaurants and boutiques. All-around great vacation and comfortable home base to explore the area.
