This first-floor villa has beautiful scenic views and is positioned right in front of the shoreline. You'll love the quiet and comfort of this home furnished with an open dining area and patio. Your guests will also enjoy waking up to the sound of crashing waves from their master bedroom. A full kitchen is available for when you want to explore some new culinary creations, and the living area provides the perfect atmosphere for friends and family to catch up in. For some good exercise, take advantage of the shared tennis court.



What’s nearby:

The villa is located in the West Beach Village on Kiawah Island. You'll be only a short walk to Cougar Point Golf Course and brand new West Beach Conference Center. Bike or drive to the Freshfields Village (just about three miles away) where you’ll be able to find all kinds of fresh produce and local treats. For shopping, a 40-minute drive will take you to The Shops at Belmond Charleston Place, and if you'd like a good beer, McCann’s Irish Pub is only a four-minute drive away. You can also check out historic downtown Charleston with an easy 25-mile drive. Of course, you'll be only steps from the beach where you can soak in the sun all day long.

This property is old. The shower had a broken door and we were unable to close it from the inside. There were many stains on the carpet and it smelled a bit. The biggest issue was there is very little air coming out of the 1 vent in the bedroom, so it was very hot our entire stay in 90 degree weather. It was extremely difficult to sleep at night. I found a fan in the closet, but it just circulated the hot air. I came home extremely tired from lack of sleep. I was told that the owner had recently stayed there and also noted that the only bedroom was hot and did nothing to mitigate the situation prior to renting it. This was a birthday vacation for me and the island holds a special meaning for me and my husband, and this was so disappointing. I cannot recommend this property.

2 adults and 2 kids, plenty of room during stay.Clean, comfortable (new) mattress on king bed, fold out sleeper is not bad. Plenty of dishes and stuff in kitchen. Sharp kitchen knife set which is rare. Very close walk to the beach. Coffee maker situation needs work but thats it!

Ideal location just steps from the beach.

This location was ideal for a quick get away trip for the weekend.. It’s located just a short walk from the beach and, was an ideal location for us to day trip into the city. We’d certainly stay here again.

Family Beach trip

Our family of 4 really enjoyed renting this property . It was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do on our trip! Would highly recommend .

Amazing beach weekend

My fiancé and I had the best little weekend getaway here! The bed is super cozy and the whole apt is clean and well equipped for cooking and chilling! The proximity to the beach is A+!

Wonderful cozy Home away from Home

The experience was wonderful. From beginning to end. I’ve stayed at this resort many times this location was ideal for a family with kids. Quick and private entrance to the beach. Enough space to cozy up and enjoy dinner and cuddles on the comfy couch or a nice quiet evening on the porch. Great for a couple days in paradise!!!

More than expected

Just a wonderful 1 bedroom villa... was exactly as advertised. You can't see the ocean from this first floor abode but you hear the ocean and it is merely a 50 step walk to the beach... could not have been happier.

Besides the carpet the overall stay was good. The plug ins in the bedroom needs fixed the cords would fall out. We had a great time

Unit was clean. Lacked basic supplies like trash bags and coffee filters. Weren’t provided the pass for island access or the parking pass for the unit on the front end. When we called, told they would be in the unit (which would t be helpful for getting on the island

Great beach access

The condo is in a wonderful location, steps to the beach and is nicely furnished and decorated. If you plan on cooking here bring all your basics like salt/pepper, coffee filters, and a dish brush for clean up. The property management company is terrible, and with proper instructions could have saved us several trips to the store for supplies.

nice stay

property had not been cleaned yet at check in time. cleaning crew showed up soon after and got it cleaned quickly. front door keys did not work on back door porch lock. that being said the condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay at shipwatch. this is a very convienent location. the beach is fabulous.

Scarce supplies

Few garbage bags. One set of face towels, bath towels and wash towels. We did a lot of laundry. More that at home. Was a work-cation. No more VRBO.

We do supply 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 wash cloths, and 1 bathmat per bathroom- we apologize that this was not enough for two guests, our intentions are not to make it feel like a work-cation. Great location, nicely decorated but really bad beds

This unit is in a great location and beautifully decorated but the beds are horrible. We were schedule to stay for 4 nights but left after the 3rd because my husband could hardly walk after sleeping in the master bed and my daughter, who was sleeping on the pullout, had to sleep sideways to avoid the bar under the super thin mattress. Overall, this is a great unit but the beds need upgrading.
