New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Enjoy gorgeous views of the ocean and sound when you stay at Northern Comfort! Comfort is definitely what will be waiting for you at this beautiful four-bedroom, three-bathroom home fronting a private lake. Plenty of great views can be taken in on the furnished sun decks and from the crow's nest, while others may want to relax in the screened porch with a hot tub. Indoors, you'll find airy living spaces with a high ceiling in the comfy great room with a fireplace. The dining room will be perfect for enjoying those delicious meals and offers a wet bar and commercial icemaker. Two main bedrooms offer a king bed and a queen bed and share a bath with a Jacuzzi tub. The additional two bedrooms offer two single beds and two bunk beds. Perhaps curl up to write a postcard or read a book in the comfortable loft area.

Plenty of entertainment options are available for both the young and young at heart. Multiple TVs, two DVD players, a VCR player, and a stereo/CD player will provide lots of viewing and listening fun. There are also plenty of games, puzzles, and books and outdoors you can have fun shooting some hoops. Enjoy access to St. Waves Pool and Tennis during your stay for additional recreational fun. Great fun and great comfort are yours to enjoy when you stay at Northern Comfort on your next trip to the Outer Banks!

Community pool is located on Sea Vista Court. The pool is generally open from May 24 to September 8, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Please note that the operation of community pools is subject to the discretion of the state inspector, management, and/or the HOA. As a result, the availability schedule may change without prior notice.

Great place for families.

The property was great for a family vacation. Close to the beach and a great view from the top deck. The host was very accommodating and responded promptly to any requests and concerns. Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay very much!

Comfy couches inside. Large kitchen. Hot tub was great after kiteboarding in April. Nice outdoor spaces. We watched the eclipse from the crows nest. Decor a little dated, but everything was clean and well kept.

Clean home on cul-de-sac

This home is your quintessential old beach cottage. It was very clean, located in a quiet cul-de-sac and across the street from the beach access. Some of the wood on the front deck was splintered and needs to be fixed/replaced, but that was our only complaint. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to stay again.

The house is in a great location however the top deck is dangerous, especially if you have kids.

Great location! Needs remodeling

You just can’t beat the location of this home but it is needing some repairs. Mold issues and broken screens on windows plus the sliding doors get stuck when trying to open and close.

Great location, great price. It’s a win!

The location was great and the price was fantastic. The house needed to be cleaned a bit more considering that pets are allowed- which I liked. The TV in the living room didn’t power up, but there were plenty of other TVs so we changed one out, no problem. We didn’t contact management for anything, but if we did, I’m sure they would have fixed it. Overall, the house could use some updating, but served our needs just fine. I would be just fine staying again sometime with my big family- toddlers to teens. Thanks for a great week.

Cozy, comfy, perfect

My husband and I were looking for a time away from the political turmoil and from COVID concerns. We were looking for a comfortable cozy place close to the ocean with all the amenities so we wouldn’t have to look elsewhere for entertainment or comfort. We found it in Northern Comfort. We love to cook and really enjoyed the huge kitchen. It was a bit lacking in good sturdy utensils so I’d recommend bringing your own, and they were missing a dish drainer and hot mits but otherwise, it was fantastic. The hot tub was large and hot and in a great location - private, with a good view. The living room was especially cozy with comfortable furniture, great light (throughout the house), a gas fireplace, and a good entertainment center. The mattresses were comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. It was one of our favorite places we’ve stayed on the OBX.
