Cozy, spacious, clean home 30 mins away from Zion in a small town . 20 mins from sand hallow lake which was also a blast we spent the hole day there. Groceries down the street, good Resturant’s down the street. We even went around town and found two great thrift stores one had two floors !! Great place to stay

Great location for adventuring

Great location. We were headed into Zion for the day and this was a great home for our family to relax (4 kids ages 3-10). It was a nice break from staying in hotels. Beds were comfortable and overall, it was clean. Enjoyed being able to do our laundry, a full kitchen to make some healthy food instead of eating out, and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. Nice grocery store close by and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. We would definitely stay here again. We gave it a 5 star, but would offer a few suggestions for improvement. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs with our family and thought of a few suggestions to make it excellent - ALL bedrooms and bathrooms need a trash can. There was 1 in the kitchen and one in the hall bathroom. The shower liners (there were no curtains) could use replacement from mildew stains. There was an abundance of shampoo/conditioner but there was no soap/body wash for showers to be found. Washing machine and dishwasher both need to be run through a cleaning cycle. It would be nice to have some small tables next to the couches to put drinks, etc. The coffee table is there, but difficult to utilize from the couches for food/drinks. It would also be nice to have some cards, games available to use. And lastly, it would be nice to have the lawn people hold off until guests are checked out. We were awoken this morning in the 8:00 hour by people weed whacking literally at our bedroom windows. :( Like I said, we would stay here again. Minor improvements to be made. Overall excellent.

Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay here while we explored Zion during the day. The house was spotless and a comfortable place for 5 of us to rest and relax. It is down the street from River Rock Roasting company which boasts delicious breakfast items and dinners along with great views from the back porch. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect

We stayed here while we explored Zion and Bryce Canyon. It was the perfect home base for our trip. Everything was clean and we had Everything we needed to be comfortable. We loved getting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking, and the towels even smelled like they were fresh off the line! The neighborhood was quiet and we truly felt like this was a sweet home away from home.

Comfortable stay to visit Zion National Park

We very much enjoyed our stay at this house, we spent our days hiking in Zion eating sandwiches that were packed and then had all of our sit down meals here. Kitchen has lots of dishes. utensils and pans (if you want to bake, grab some aluminum pans before you come). , there is lots of pantry space for storage, so easy to use the kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, so peaceful sleeping. Hot tub was used every day, and we did use the grill, although we needed to fill the propane canister, so provided no one forgets to turn off the gas, next few months should be good to go! Couple things came up while we were there and the owners were very responsive to getting resolved, so didn’t have a negative impact on our stay. It’s about a 30 minute drive into Springdale. We flew into Las Vegas & rented a car. Stopped in St. George at Costco and Walmart to stock up, it’s about 30 minute drive to the house from there. There is a decent size grocer in La Verkin as well. We had 6 of us here and used all the beds including the pullout couch, everyone slept well. Very comfortable stay with lots of space. Easy to recommend for your National park trip. We had a fantastic time at the park and being together here with our adult children who met us here.

Perfect location for Zion park

Some buddies and I took a trip to Zion National park and needed a "home-base" to relax after our long days in the park, this spot was perfect for that. The hot tub was just what we needed in order to recover from a few long hikes. The space was large enough for 4 adult males to spread out and not feel cramped. We enjoyed a few nights playing billiards in the garage or just sitting on the back patio to stargaze. It was extremely clean upon arrival and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Quiet area and great location, close to many food options, and just a short drive over to Zion each day. Can't wait to make a trip back!

The Perfect Retrear

My brothers and I met up here to discuss plans for our elderly parents while my son attended a college prospect football camp. The location was perfect for our needs. We were able to balance emotional conversations with lots of mountain biking, hiking, and football watching. The hone was immaculately clean, comfortable, and in a stunning location. We loved Red River Roasters for our morning coffee and excellent pizza for dinner. Thank you so much!

When we searched for a property to rent we were looking for one that had a Jacuzzi. When we arrived at this property the front door lock did not work. Once we were able to get into the property through the garage, we found the property to be uncomfortable! because it was not cleaned properly, the floors were extremely dirty refrigerator and oven were dirty! the hall bathroom still had some feces in the toilet! showers were not cleaned well, and we found the Jacuzzi dirty and low on water and chemicals! this is after sending a email ahead of time requesting the Jacuzzi to be warm, and how often was it serviced! I was told on the phone by the property Manager that it had chemicals added to it the morning before our arrival, this the was in Porten because of my girlfriends back injury, Which meant I had to go into town to find some chemicals! add water clean the Jacuzzi so she could use it. So the point is to arrive at a property, and spend The first hour and a half just cleaning the house to be somewhat comfortable enough to sleep! other than that we enjoyed the property the area and all the other dealings with renting the property were great, thank you for the opportunity to explain the uncomfortable weekend we had!!!!

Nice house extremely poor manners

The house was very nice. There was a lack of adequate blankets and comforters. There were not enough towels for showering and using the hot tub. There was inadequate cookware for a large group - no spaghetti pot, large frying pan, serving dishes. They allowed 1 kitchen towel and 1 washcloth for multiple days. A towel rack kept falling on the floor. The instructions in the house manual indicated to leave beds unmade which we did. This was the only instruction in the manual. My 3 year old grandson wanted to sleep in the sofa sleeper. For an adult this would have been unusable. We left the place clean except for sweeping the floor and emptying the trash which was not included in the house manual. This was the private text I received By rude owner after we left. Very threatening. We left the house very clean. Dishes were done, coffee pot clean, bathrooms clean, less guests than we had indicated. We are disappointed in the lack of professionalism. From Dylan (owner) How many people did you have stay at the house? Every bed was used which is more than what your reservation stated. You were supposed to follow instructions and strip all beds and put all laundry in a pile. This place is an absolute mess. There will be another charge for additional cleaning and additional people. What additionally cleaning will we be charged for? why was this text sent privately and not through VRBO?

Perfect place for visiting Zion

We canceled our hotel room in Springdale when we found this listing - and did not regret it for one minute! It was about a 30 minute drive to the Park, but a fun/beautiful drive and we loved having the space, laundry, separate bedrooms, garage, and kitchen that our La Verkin rental afforded us. We loved grilling each night, packing lunches for our days in the park, and doing laundry several times with all of our sweaty clothes. This place is perfect - highly recommend. We also HIGHLY recommend the Taylor Creek hike in Kolob Canyon - an easy drive from the house and nobody was there - in stark contrast to the main Zion Canyon. Our 7 and 9 year old boys loved all the wildlife and crossing the creek numerous times. A highlight for sure.

Very nice, well equipped home

The house was lovely and very spacious, well equipped kitchen including pantry items, large TV. In addition to high ceilings, the doorframes are the tallest I’ve ever seen in a regular home, so a great place for tall people. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working, repaired just at the end of our stay, but Daren was very nice, very responsive and kept us up to date, and ultimately provided a substantial refund understanding our disappointment. Class act all around.
