Linda, thank you for your feedback. I believe it is important to share additional details of your review that provide more context. First, I am a real person and not an "AI generated human". Communication on VRBO is preferred through the app and encouraged. At Linda's request, I provided my number and communicated with her regularly - significantly more than most guests. As noted, the smoke alarm began beeping during her trip. Linda notified me and I told her I would have my handyman or cleaner sent out within 60 minutes. Linda told me she took care of it and it was not necessary to send anyone. There are multiple smoke detectors in the house and all of them besides the one Linda removed on her own were operating. All smoke detectors now have fresh batteries. As I explained to Linda, we have a separate person who collects our trash who is not the cleaner. Linda did not include in her review that there was a snow storm that impacted the trash being picked up on the trash day and that the trash was picked up the next day. The rest of the house was clean and prepared for her group. A comment regarding "the cleaning crew was not there" is disingenuous for what was a clean property. On one of the days, Linda tripped a circuit breaker. I told her where the panel was located and she reset the breaker within a half hour. I wish Linda better trips in the future but would encourage her to write more authentic and truthful reviews.
