The Creekwood Lodge is allowed to host 8 guests, plus up to 5 additional children under 14 years old, per the City of South Lake Tahoe ordinance, making it perfect for families and groups with young kids.

Guest Access:

You will have full and private access to the entire house during your stay, including the spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchen, and the outdoor garden with a hot tub and BBQ grill. You are also welcome to use the garage for parking. Please note that one owner closet remains locked and is not accessible to guests, but all other areas of the home are yours to enjoy.

The Creekwood Lodge is located in the highly desirable and quiet Highland Woods neighborhood, a peaceful enclave that is perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. You will love the convenience of being just steps away from a scenic meadow, which offers beautiful walking trails that lead directly to the lake. For those who enjoy cycling, there is a dedicated bike path that takes you straight to the sandy shores of Pope Beach. When you are looking for a bite to eat, a variety of local restaurants are reachable within a quick five minute bike ride or a half mile walk. Despite its tranquil setting, you are only four miles from the excitement of the Heavenly Ski Resort and Village, making this an ideal home base for year round mountain adventures.



Getting Around:

Getting around South Lake Tahoe is simple and convenient from our location. We highly recommend having a car to fully explore the area, and for your convenience, we provide parking for up to four vehicles with two spots in the garage and two in the driveway. Please note that street parking is strictly prohibited per local ordinance. For those driving electric vehicles, we have both a Tesla and a universal 240 volt charger available in the garage. If you are arriving by air, the Reno Tahoe International Airport is approximately a ninety minute drive from the lodge. Local public bus services are available throughout the city to help you reach major attractions and transit hubs.
