In the heart of Warnemünde, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and the Alter Strom, and within sight of the Warnemünde lighthouse, the “Tom” and “Felix” vacation apartments at Kapitänshaus Fröhlich are available for your relaxing vacation. Dear guests, welcome to the Kapitänshaus Fröhlich!
We offer you a cozy vacation apartment in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde, just a few minutes from the Baltic Sea beach.

On the first floor of the Kapitänshaus Fröhlich, the quietly located “Tom” vacation apartment is available for guests. The vacation rental is approximately 58 square meters in size, fully equipped with high-quality PVC flooring, and features a living room, an open kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, and a bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle. In the living room, you’ll find satellite TV, a radio, a CD/Blu-ray player, and free Wi-Fi.
Feel free to enjoy the small seating area in the courtyard as well.

The vacation rental is for non-smokers only and offers ample space for up to 4 people.


The initial amenities package includes one set of linens per person,
(included in the final invoice price: bed linens, towels, dish towels, and a shower mat).

In the same building, you can also rent the 2-room Felix vacation apartment as well as the 3-room Fröhlich apartment, each accommodating 2–4 people.


The building is located in a pedestrian zone.

At Friedrich-Barnewitz-Str. 9, you can rent secure parking spaces from us, starting at 6 €/night.


Bakeries, restaurants, shops, bike rentals, the beach, the promenade, Alter Strom, and more—everything is just around the corner.

Visitor’s tax starting at 01.09.2023 in Rostock + Warnemünde:
Adults aged 15 and older: 3.70 €/day
People with severe disabilities (50% or more): 1.45 €/day
Children ages 6–14: 1.45 €/day
Exempt from visitor’s tax: People with severe disabilities 80% or higher, accompanying persons only if the person with a severe disability is 100% disabled and has a registered caregiver
Children up to age 5, business travelers, athletes, conference attendees, travelers in transit, locals

Additional services available upon request for a separate fee, bookable directly with the rental provider:

- Travel crib (without mattress or bedding): €2.50 per night
