Had all the things we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Sand toys, chairs, boards for ocean! House has awesome layout! For sure a great spot on the ocean !

This was the first time we rented a house in Ft. Morgan. The rental location and the home itself provided the respite we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We had an extraordinary week in this home. The house was stocked with all the amenities from the kitchen to the beach toys and chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home right on the beach!

Family Memories

The home was perfect! Everything we needed was there. Private beach beautiful beach! Not too far from town. Comfy beds. Only hiccup, the cleaning people didn't finish until 5:30. However, no biggie we used the restrooms and off to the beach we went.

1st Family Vacay on the Beach

This home was perfect! The ocean was literally steps from the deck. Private, peaceful . . . like your own slice of heaven. Toys for the kids to play with were great! There were also nets for catching crabs at night. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was incredible. The house itself had everything you needed for cooking. Lots of space to be together and to also get away for quiet time if needed. The views are just amazing. For a first timer at the beach, this house was perfect. I would recommend this home to anyone interest in being right on the ocean with a little privacy, but close enough to the action on the Gulf Shores strip and activities if interested.

Wonderful Family Spot

Captiva was just what we were looking for. The location on the beach is beautiful and quiet. The house was nice, and there was plenty of room for my family. The 1:1 bedroom/bathroom was a nice bonus. We would stay at Captiva again. The only issue was communication with the rental company (Vacasa). I had reached out with a message to see what was provided (soap, linens, ect.) They responded by stating the house would be stocked for the maximum amount of occupants (10 people). However, upon arrival we realized there were only a few sample sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and a couple of laundry pods, two trashbags, etc. I just wish they would have been more upfront so, that we could have come prepared instead of having to treck back to Gulfshores for all our needs (the few stores around us did not have all we needed). Additionally, upon arrival we found out the dishwasher was not working. I feel Vacasa could have sent a quick email so we would have known. Luckily we had packed paper plates, plasticware, etc. Overall, our trip was amazing. The house was perfect, and we will know what to bring with us in the future.

We hope to stay here again!

My friends and I stayed at this house in October, and we were all happy with the property. I agree with other posters who rave about how it is literally steps to the beach, well decorated, and well stocked. One plus I haven't seen mentioned was that they have beach chairs and umbrellas next to the parking area. I was very happy to be able to use those. They also had some beach toys for those with children. The house is beautifully decorated, and 3 of the four bedrooms have beautiful ocean views. Yes, the water wasn't quite as clear as in OB and there were those wells, but they didn't really detract from the views. The beach was so uncrowded we felt almost like we had it to ourselves. The kitchen is as well stocked as everybody has said and they had left plenty of supplies for our three day stay. If you had a large group or were staying longer you would need to bring extra. That is pretty standard for other places we have stayed. There is some wear and tear on the house, but the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning. I never quite got the hang of the hot water in the shower upstairs--- I had to run it for a bit, then wait, then run it again. The first night the master downstairs didn't have hot water no matter how long they ran it. We did report it to the management company, not sure what they will do about it, but they said they were writing a ticket for it. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again!
