We had a great stay overall and would definitely come back. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to the beach, and on the days we drove, we always found free parking nearby. The beach in this area is absolutely beautiful. We also took a trip to the local zoo, which was a nice outing and had a great observation tower with fantastic views over Lake Michigan.The host was friendly, communicative, and made check-in super easy. She even texted us when the house was ready earlier than check-in, which we really appreciated.The house was comfortable, the beds were nice, and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The basement was a great bonus, with games and a comfy couch, since the main-level sitting area is fairly small. There is also a large backyard and a nice deck, though we mostly spent our time at the beach and did not use them much.There were a few small housekeeping concerns. Some bathroom towels were not very clean, there was still sand in the bathmat in the main-level bathroom, and the drip coffee maker was unusable because there was mold in the water reservoir. Fortunately, there was a K-Cup machine we could use instead.Despite those small issues, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the great location and responsive host.
