The Space:

Spend balmy days outside swimming in the screened backyard pool, barbecuing at the lagoon's edge, or gathering around the outdoor firepit at this fantastic, two-story home. Make your Hilton Head escape one to remember. This cottage is the perfect place for a family getaway, with its secluded location that's still just a short drive or bike ride from shops, restaurants, and recreational activities. The property is set within easy access of Harbour Town's businesses and golf courses, as well as the island's white, sandy beaches. On this quiet street, the tropical flora and fauna of the local landscaping provide gorgeous curb appeal. The Sea Pines Racquet Club and its tennis court are within walking distance of the property, as is the PGA Golf Course.



As you arrive, you'll be greeted by high-speed WiFi with a mesh router and two desk areas to use if you plan to work from home. You'll find oak hardwood flooring throughout the cottage and a spacious living area featuring overstuffed chairs, a 75-inch TV with a sound bar, and a DVD player for movie nights. The elegant kitchen is separated from the living room by an island breakfast bar, offering polished stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and a wet bar.

This was a great place to walk over to Harbour Town Cafe for coffee and breakfast, dinner at the Quarter Deck or a drink or music for the kids, and an easy bike ride over to Beach Club. This place was great for a big family, fantastic pool, and lots of seating and big island for kids and parents to share meals and visit.

Wonderful vacation home!

Carolina Cottage is a wonderful vacation home! It had everything we wanted - comfortable beds, nice cookware, walk-in shower. It was just as beautiful as the pictures. It was perfect for an extended family vacation. Though not advertised as handicap accessible, it worked out well for our grandson in a wheelchair.

The house was fabulous in every way.........clean, well-stocked, perfect in size for our family. Beds were super comfortable & having the pool was special. Great house

There were lack of towels, coffee cups and silverware when you eat in but the house made up for it. The open concept was great as well and the HUGE LANAI.

Perfect home!

This beautiful home on pristine, manicured property is perfectly located close to Harbor Town, shops and restaurants. We walked and biked to all Sea Pine attractions and beaches. The home's furnishings and appliances appear to be brand new, the beds were extremely comfortable and the entire property was immaculate. This was a perfect vacation setting. We hope to return many times!

Great house great location.

We loved the home and location. Not quite sure how I paid extra fees through VRBO and was a vacasa property. Had I rented directly through them would have saved money as it was managed by vacasa. But overall enjoyed the stay.

Nice Place

The 'Carolina Cottage' is an excellent place for a family stay on HH. Great location, 4 large bedrooms, and a screened in pool. Our only issue was that they needed to provide more of the 'small things' like trash bags, TP, paper towels. It's a great place -- don't be cheap with $5 items!

Beautiful Home in prime location

This house was perfect for my family to stay for a long weekend celebrating my daughter's wedding. Two 80 somethings were comfortable in the first floor bedrooms. The younger family members had nice privacy upstairs. The house was quiet and surrounded by beautiful peaceful grounds. The kitchen had everything you could want to cook. A nice laundry area was very convenient. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the pool! Definitely will make this our Hilton Head rental in the future!

Had issues due to no garbage pickup. The listing did not describe all the rules associated with Sea Pines, which made beach access very difficult. The house itself was beautiful and clean.

Another great visit!

This house has it all!! We enjoyed having a nice cool pool on the hot, sunny days as well as being so close to Harbour Town - only .4 miles (yes, I clocked it). Kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils and dishes you will need while away from home. We used the grill and dined outside in the screened in porch and played Taboo. All with few buggies and a fan cooling us overhead. The house is on a quiet dead end street. Our kids enjoyed biking and passing the volleyball in the drive way. This is our third time staying at the Carolina Cottage and it never disappoints. Already counting down to next summer!

Looks nice but not clean

The house looks nice, just as pictured, and very comfortable. It was great to have the convenience of our own pool especially in this COVID-19 environment, but the house was not very clean. Hair from prior guests in the bathrooms and on the sheets, sand on the bedroom floor, dirty dishes (in the cabinet). It’s like the cleaning crew has only been doing superficial cleans.

Great home for a family!

We loved staying at the Carolina Cottage in Sea Pines! The home was large, beautiful, and nicely laid out. We had twin 1 year old boys who loved crawling around the open first floor. The pool was perfect and my dad loved the dining in the screened in patio. Our view was also perfect! The location was great for biking to Harbour Town to watch Gregg Russell or to the beach. Highly recommend! The only small issues were that the dishwasher was very awkward, it seemed like it was missing a piece. Also, the toilet paper holder upstairs was not fastened to the wall properly. It seems it has been fixed several times to no avail. Other than small maintenance issues, the home was clean and perfect! :)

Amazing family vacay at the Carolina cottage

What an amazing way to spend a week! Immaculately clean and decorated, fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, gadgets) and in home laundry made for one big happy family. The highlight was being able to swim anytime we wanted, screened in away from the buggies.

Excellent Stay

The house was very clean and fully equipped with almost anything you could need while on vacation. The furniture looked new and was also very clean. The beach access we chose was about a 15-20 minute bike ride. We loved riding bikes to get ice cream most nights. Would definitely stay here again.

Carolina Cottage was Outstanding

Beautiful, restful, quiet, comes to mind. Everything was just over the top. The pictures didn't do the house justice, the house was even better then we could have imagined. The little details were very much appreciated. We love the area and will be back for a nice winter vacation.

We had a wonderful stay in Carolina Cottage! The house was clean and lived up to all of our expectations. The home was as described and it was pleasure to be there. It's an excellent location for the south end of the island and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely repeat and heartily recommend!
