The Space:

Peace and quiet await you at this serene getaway on Hilton Head Island. This home has a secluded feel while still being close to everything the island has to offer. The open layout and spacious kitchen, equipped with breakfast bar seating, allow for every guest to spread out and relax, and you'll love seating your dinner guests at the accommodating dining room set. Make a pot of coffee in the morning and head out to the back deck to listen to the birds chirping over the lagoon. When the morning chill burns off, pack some snacks and lay by the shared pool or make a day of beach excursions. For the people who prefer to stay in, the TV and WiFi will offer a plethora of options for movies and streaming! When everyone gathers after the day's activities, grill up some veggies and crack open your favorite brew as the sun dips below the trees.



For the beach-goers in the group, make your way two and a half miles southeast to Coligny Beach Park where you can rent beach equipment and find boutiques and tasty restaurants. For a more secluded option, Sea Pines Beach is just two and a half miles south with pristine beaches and a local surf shop. If golf is your game, Heron Point by Pete Dye offers immaculate greens and a challenging course design! Plus, take a day trip to Harbour Bay for some fresh seafood and a small-town experience.

Perfect family vacation house

This property is perfect for a family of 8 -10 ppl . The house is conveniently located at walking distance to stores , golf courses and the beach if you feel adventurous enough to walk a couple of miles .

Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. Loved the screened in porch and watching the alligators.

Perfect fall getaway!

Beautiful home on a quiet street! A short drive or bike ride away from grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and the beach. From morning coffee and quiet time on the porch overlooking the lagoon to family dinners and games in the open kitchen and dining space, this house had everything we needed to make wonderful memories! The oven was not functioning when we arrived, but they delivered a brand new one quickly. In the interim, we were able to utilize the gas grill as a makeshift oven ;)

Enjoyable Vacation House

This house, in Carolina Place, was spacious and nicely situated on a lagoon where we could view wildlife. It had many comfortable seating options, both indoors and out. The kitchen was attractive, well appointed, and fully functional. During our stay (end of April/beginning of May 2022), a house was being built on the lot next door. There was a lot of noise, between the sound of the cement mixer and the sawing of cinder blocks, making it impossible to fully relax on the deck. I expect the work will continue for some time, as the construction is still in its early stages. We were disappointed with Vacasa. We were not given any access to the local HHI office prior to our arrival to ask questions about our stay. When we checked in, the reception at the Vacasa office was not very friendly and we were given the wrong code for entry to the house. They also did not provide any instructions on how to use the unfamiliar house lock. In general, they were not accommodating. We had booked the house for two weeks, but they didn’t supply enough kitchen garbage bags to get us through that period of time. They provided a ‘starter’ kit, which would have been adequate for a one week stay, but was not reasonable when you’ve paid for two weeks. It seemed petty, especially considering they were already saving money on house cleaning with our longer stay. We had some clue this might be how this outfit is run when they charged us for four Sea Pines car passes when we were only going to have two cars. Here are some other things to be aware of: (1) the bedroom to the right of the front door has the AC compressors outside, and when they’re running, the noise in this room becomes intolerable (IMO), (2) the landing near the bottom of the staircase was cut on a diagonal, instead of squared off, and a few of us stumbled there, (3) there is no DVD or Blue Ray player in this house, (4) the ice maker was not turned on, which we did not realize until someone in our party had an injury and needed an ice pack, only to find there was no ice, (5) while they say the house has parking for 4 cars, that’s a bit of a stretch, and would require jockeying the cars around to let someone get out if you had that many, (6) the community pool is very nice, and just a short walk away, but it’s not very conducive for lap swimmers since much of the pool is 3’ deep, and (7) the lamps on the night tables in the downstairs master bedroom had bulbs that were too dim for bedtime reading.

Kitchen: Only thing I could possibly have used that was not in the kitchen was a pair of scissors -- well appointed!! Decorator did her job: places for keys, shoes, mirror by the front entry; places for one, two, four, eight to sit and enjoy the waterfront view ***Only big irritation was the fact that going thru Vrbo added an extra charge (over $100) to my bill instead of going directly through Vacasa who manages this property. Two different agents could not communicate exactly what this charge gets me and this fact does not appear in any of the advertising -- not until you find that two different companies have billed you do you realize this was disingenuous on the part of Vrbo.

The house was better than the photos

The pictures were enticing but the real thing was even better. We loved the updated house, the pool, the proximity to shopping/beach and the neighborhood. The nearby bike trails and park were a particular favorite. Not one complaint!!

Great property but Vacasa unresponsive

Loved the overall property. Very clean and well stocked. But; getting responses to questions about the home before arriving was near impossible. Sent three emails with no response and finally got through on the “within 48 hours of arriving” phone number. We had a safety issue in the house - there are very large trees in the driveway that were throwing off torpedo cones - they damaged two of our cars (cracked windshield and dent - I am not exaggerating) and one hit our guest on the head which was painful. Two phone calls with messages at the central Vacasa number and still no response. It isn’t acceptable. The other issue is that you can’t park in the street so you have no choice but to park under the dangerous trees.

Great stay

Property was in a great location for us to ride bikes around the island. The community pool is less than a block from the house and the outdoor patio was perfect for morning coffee and the deck was great for cooking out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway home

This house was perfect for our family of 5. We loved being able to sit outside and watch all the birds and turtles in and around the pond. It was just a short walk to the pool (which was never crowded). It was very convenient to all kinds of restaurants and not too far from the beach and shopping. We hope to come back and stay again soon!

Great kitchen setup

The house was clean and neat. We cook a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. It’s an easy bike ride to the stables for the little ones and close to the gate for groceries and shopping. We enjoyed our week very much.

The property was fine for our group. The furniture and appliances are in good shape. No major complaints except that the house could use some maintenance attention. The gate on the deck is broken; palmetto bugs inside should be addressed. The ice maker didn’t work. Overall, a typical rental experience.

Amazing home

Spent a long weekend here with my wife and mom and our dog. This is a great home with plenty of space indoor and outdoor. The screened porch is a great place to sit and have a drink or two. Can't find anything bad to say about our stay here. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely Home

This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood of Sea Pines. Thank you Vaccasa for doing such a great job. The entire home was very clean. When we arrived planning to use the outdoor grill we found the gas tank empty but one phone call to the rental company and they delivered a new tank within a few hours. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it could use some new pots and pans (teflon finish is coming off) and the dishwasher could use to be upgraded.

Nice house with great outdoor spaces.

The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, overlooking a lagoon. The outdoor spaces were great for any kind of weather. Screened in porch, rocking chairs on the deck and nice area for eating. The house has been remodeled. Kitchen and bathrooms were all new and lovely. The house was very clean and tbe kitchen was well equipped. We would rent this house again.
