Located in bucolic coastal Westport, Massachusetts, this cottage is a peaceful retreat for guests seeking a relaxing getaway; perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach or sightseeing in nearby historic waterfronts. Situated amidst state conservation land, on a private lane, you’re walking distance to the beaches and nearby hiking and restaurants; minutes away from boating, kayaking and fishing access. Just a short drive or bike ride to nearby farm stands, winery, and local breweries.
The cozy living room features a sleeping area with a king bed, living area features pullout sofa bed and two futon ottomans; comfortably accommodating sleeping for 4.With one fully equipped bathroom, guests will find everything they need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen/dining area furnished with stove, fridge, microwave and Keurig, is stocked with the basics for your convenience.
Heating and AC keep the space soothing no matter the season. Whether you’re curling up with a book or enjoying quiet moments on the spacious deck, this cottage offers an enjoyable escape. Enjoy all that Coastal Massachusetts has to offer when you stay at our charming respite.

Courtney's cottage was a lovely place to stay for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is clean, comfortable and close to beaches and restaurants. The hosts were amazing, thoughtful and available if needed throughout our stay. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place for you!

This VRBO was worth every penny that our group paid! We were a party of 4 celebrating a little reunion and birthday celebration! The hosts are amazing and cared for EVERY detail, communicated easily and even left a special treat for our birthday friend! There was PLENTY of kitchenware for us to cook with and they very graciously have stocked tons of things for us. I would recommend bringing food and cooking, this cottage is just too adorable to not thoroughly enjoy. We were given so many recommendations by the hosts and the beach walk was less than an hour and was gorgeous. It is a quiet neighborhood and The view is incredible. The little porch out front made morning coffee delightful. The bathroom was spacious enough and had hooks/hangers for all our girlie stuff. The water runs yellow but none of us had any issues with it. The futon folds out and we comfortably fit 4 women in the cottage. The Tv worked great and we enjoyed birthday pie and wine while chilling late night. While its an hour from Newport, this cottage is absolutely worth it and i highly recommend this booking!!

This house was the perfect spot to be near family we were visiting and near some local attractions (beaches, walking trails, etc.)!! Monica provided tips and recommendations for things to do and places to go. These hosts thought of all the little touches to make the house feel like both a fun vacation spot but also a practical place to stay. The king sized bed was super comfy (and I’m picky about beds). I’ll be transparent about 2 things that may bother you and need consideration for your stay here: (1) the mosquitos outside the house during our stay (late June) were pretty brutal at times, and (2) the running water in the house is from a well so it is yellow in color and tastes salty. However, the hosts were proactive on both matters, providing ample supply of bug spray and providing multiple types of store bought drinking water. I would 100% stay here again and am very grateful to have found this spot!

Above and beyond. My family and I decided to take a weekend trip to New England and found this cute cottage just stunning. Positioned perfectly for our activities in Newport and New Bedford, we loved coming back to our beach escape. Not only does waking up to the sea breeze start the morning right, but the hosts were extremely welcoming. They made special accommodations for our 4yo and 6mo - not only providing a high chair but also age appropriate toys and activities, which the kids adored. We were also welcome by some locally grown strawberries - a great treat when we walked back from the beach. Additionally, recommendations were made for local restaurants and coffee shops that were all a hit - notably The Bayside for lobster and the Wild Honey cafe.I would gladly take my family back and stay again - it was the best Vrbo experience I have ever had and provided us a home away from home on our New England father’s day adventure. My 4 year old keeps saying that he “misses our beach house” and we certainly feel the same.
