Welcome to The Norris Cook House, a truly iconic Savannah stay set directly on the picturesque Greene Square. This free-standing Victorian home boasts two queen bedrooms and two and half bathrooms. It sits on a rare corner lot, allowing natural light to pour in from every angle, creating a bright, airy feel that’s hard to find in historic homes. Enjoy a peaceful courtyard and off-street parking space.



The Space:

From the moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by timeless character with original heart pine floors, soaring ceilings, and multiple fireplaces that add warmth and charm throughout. The layout offers a beautiful balance of formal and relaxed living, with a spacious living room with sleeper sofa and a separate dining area designed for gathering, entertaining, or simply slowing down and enjoying the moment.



The oversized kitchen is both functional and inviting, featuring eat-in banquette seating, stainless steel appliances and ample space to cook, host, and connect. Whether you’re preparing a full dinner or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, it’s a space that naturally brings people together.



A convenient main floor half bathroom adds ease for guests while spending time in the living spaces.



Just outside, your private courtyard feels like a hidden oasis in the heart of the city. Lush landscaping and a peaceful fountain create the perfect setting for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, or unwinding after a day exploring Savannah.



Upstairs, the primary suite offers a queen size bedroom and retreat-like experience, complete with its own fireplace and a spacious, spa-inspired bathroom featuring a stunning natural stone walk in shower and spacious vanity.

Surrounded by historic homes, cobblestone streets, and a canopy of live oaks, this area offers an authentic Savannah experience that feels both peaceful and connected.



Greene Square is known for its relaxed, residential feel—less crowded than some of the more visited squares, yet just moments from everything you’ll want to see and do. It’s the perfect balance: a serene setting to start your mornings and unwind in the evenings, while still being right in the heart of the city.



From your front door, you can easily walk to some of Savannah’s most loved destinations. Head toward Broughton Street for shopping, cafés, and local boutiques, or make your way down to River Street to take in the waterfront views, historic architecture, and vibrant energy.



You’re also just a short stroll from cultural landmarks like Colonial Park Cemetery and Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, along with countless restaurants, coffee shops, and hidden gems tucked throughout the surrounding streets.

Savannah’s Historic District is best explored on foot and almost everything is just a short stroll from the carriage house. For longer trips, hop on the free DOT shuttle, rent a bike, or grab a quick Uber/Lyft. Your off-street parking space makes having a car easy if you’d like to visit Tybee Island, Bonaventure Cemetery, or Wormsloe. Tour trolleys and pedicabs are also a fun way to see the city without the walk.
