Trailhead Lodge 2102 is a luxurious three-bedroom condo that features hardwood floors, large living room windows, and a fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The living area offers comfortable furnishings, a flatscreen TV, a cozy gas fireplace, and access to a private balcony. For entertainment, this mountain dream is equipped with four flatscreen TVs, a DVD player, and complimentary WiFi for your enjoyment. Additional amenities include a private washer and dryer (detergent provided) and heated garage parking for your convenience. The main bedroom features a king bed, a flatscreen TV, and an attached main bathroom with double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a king bed, a flatscreen TV, and an attached bathroom with double vanity and shower/tub combo. There are two twin beds in the third bedroom as well as a flatscreen TV and an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. For additional sleeping capacity, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the main living area.

Fabulous unit in our favorite lodge!

This is our third year staying in the Trailhead Lodge. We go to Steamboat for a volleyball tournament in July and we love the location (and the central AC!). This unit was super clean and well-decorated. We will definitely be returning!

4 days without hot water, otherwise lovely

The lack of hot water was a huge inconvenience (and one that I have never, in my entire life, experienced at any hotel or other accommodation). The manage’s suggested fix to shower in the public locker room was NOT an appropriate solution to the issue. Otherwise, the unit was clean, furnishings were nice, and the view was lovely.

No hot water

The condo was very nice, but no hot water is a problem. Prior reviews of the complex claim the same problem but Vacasa said they fixed the hot water. Clearly not, won’t stay there again because of it.

Great Location but Unit Needs Some TLC

You can't beat the location of Trailhead Lodge 2102. Easy access to Steamboat Base area via the local gondola. The unit itself needs some updating. The carpet is getting worn out, the back door would not close properly which allowed a constant draft of cold air. Upon letting the front desk know of an odor in the unit we were told that sometimes the washing machine pipes have an odor when it isnt used frequently. The second bedroom had very little drawer storage for clothes. While the kitchen had the basic appliances and utensils, the unit did not provide anything above and beyond like spices (not even pepper), cooking spray etc. You will need to purchase everything. Other units I have stayed at have provided many of the basics you would need to cook a meal. Overall, the unit feels very much like a "rental" with very little attention to detail.

We confirm the owners have been working on upgrades in the unit. A new sofa has been delivered to the home. All the beds and mattresses have been recently replaced and the entire unit has been repainted. The owners plan to replace the carpet in the off-season. We hope we can host you again for a much more enjoyable stay.

Amazing Stay

Great location, beautifully decorated and clean. It has all the amenities you would need. All important to us in a stay. You get air conditioning which is rare for the area. The pool and hot tubs have a great setting, very relaxing and clean. Will return!!

Nice place but lousy service!

Our first impression of this place was a good one. Upon check in we requested every day housekeeping which they told us would be $50/ day extra. Ok so you would think they would do a great job?? No, of the 5 nights we spent there, they changed our towels once. No clean beds, no cleaning up the kitchen. Not even any pick up inside the condo. We talked to them repeatedly until we gave up. If you don't want to have housekeeping as a service - don't offer it!! If I had known I had to clean up, I would have done it. Suffice to say, they did not charge us the $50./day, however, I don't think we will be staying there again. Too bad, because overall it seemed like an upscale building.
