Venga a hospedarse en el hermoso refugio Splendor Cove, su hogar de lujo en Lake Glenville lo espera. Lake Glenville se casa con lo mejor de las montañas y la vida del lago. Es un hermoso lago de montaña virgen que se alimenta de 3 impresionantes cascadas. Esta casa cuenta con un muelle privado, un enorme patio para muchos días llenos de diversión, kayaks, canoas, equipo de pesca, arroyo en la propiedad, pozo de fuego y está convenientemente ubicado en el lado este del lago a solo 6 millas de los cajeros. Highlands también está a 20 minutos en coche. La casa está bellamente amueblada, tiene encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y una impresionante chimenea de piedra. Traiga su propio bote o alquile un bote y estaciónelo en el muelle de la casa.

La sala de estar y la cocina son una gran sala grande y una amplia entrada al comedor y a la terraza acristalada. 1 baño principal, 1 baño en la habitación de invitados y 1 baño fuera de la sala de estar. Great house & location

Even better than expected. House was convenient, well-maintained and very usable. Covered picnic area, fire pit, gentle rolling slope to the lake, and fantastic dock woth wave runner port. Great sunsets too!

As good as advertised

Perfect place to stay for vacation in the mountains. The lot and views are beautiful, deep water dock, house is well maintained and very well equipped. I can't think of a thing that could be improved on.

Second stay here!

This was our second stay here at the Splendor house and we just LOVE it. It was perfectly suited for our crew. Couldn’t really ask for more for a beautiful mountain getaway. It has all the things: great beds, awesome showers, warm fireplace and fire pit, fully loaded kitchen and a view to die for. I hope you have the opportunity to check it out.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was fully equipped with everything that we needed. It was very clean, kitchen was stocked with things we needed to cook and the location was wonderful. We enjoyed going into both Highlands and Casheirs as well as hanging out by the lake and fire pit at night. The host was very responsive and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend.

Best spot on Lake Glenville

Our family has been coming to Lake Glenville since 2005 and we have found the BEST spot on the lake at Splendor Cove. Lovely sunsets & convenient to 107 & Cashiers; impeccably clean & orderly. You’ll fall in love with this home within 5 minutes & hate to leave. Owners have thought of everything you need for a perfect family vacation.

A wonderful vacation

We had a great time. Even though the weather was cool and rainy for much of the week, there was plenty of space in the house for indoor activities and the covered pavilion was there for ping pong. The toddlers really appreciated the toys and little slide. We hated to leave and everyone was already talking about coming back next year.

Chillaxing was the focus

We decided to do a lake vacay this year and stumbled upon this rental at Lake Glenville. Glad we did! Excellent accommodations, great place to relax, lake was awesome and weather was spectacular! 5 out of 5 stars on this one! Nothing planned just relaxing, enjoying the sun and weather. House was as advertised with plenty of room and comfort! Highly recommended!

Stunning View with a beautiful Modern Twist

Ben & Stacy are excellent hosts with an amazing space! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The space is extremely clean, well decorated, and super cozy. We most certainly look to come back during our next trip to Lake Glenville! Thank you.

Great family house, especially for young kids

Anyone with young kids should stop looking and book this house. It has all the basic equipment for kids, plus toys and a fabulous collection of children's books. The outdoor ping pong table and swing set were both a hit with our family. This house feels like staying in a friend's home, with all the amenities that sometimes get locked away in other rentals. Plenty of towels, all the kitchen supplies you could ever want, lots of games, life jackets, everything needed for a fun stay.

Ben and Stavy's place was a great location for an off sight workshop

We are regulars in the Lake Glenville area and really enjoyed this property for its location on the lake , access to the boat ramp and protected by the no wake zone. The house is very well laid out for the gathering we hosted. We liked the two refrigerator set up , kitchen lay out and gas grill made for a functional self catered gathering. The master shower was nicked named "the car wash" - its huge !! If we had one idea for improvement or only thing to consider is hauling your own firewood - we have good local connections so not huge deal to us . Its a Five Star set up all in all

Simply Splendid

My husband and I and our four adult children spent at week at Splendor Cove and it was simply splendid. What was described in the online listing was exactly what we found upon arrival. The house is spacious and comfortable. It was immaculate upon arrival. There are plenty of bath and beach towels available. The kitchen was well stocked, including dish soap and dishwasher tablets, coffee pods and cleaning supplies. The lake access was amazing, as was the covered ping-pong table. We made good use of the canoe and kayaks. Splendor Cove is close to hiking, shopping, horseback riding and boat rentals - and we did all of this and more. The owners were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. We've spent time in many VRBOs and it was unanimous, this was our best experience yet. Can't wait to return for a future vacation,

Well equipped gem

Exceptionally equipped for large family gathering. We had everything needed for the large meals we prepared each day. Really the only caveat (which I did not notice when reading through the description or reviews) was the uneven floors - the kitchen is raised significantly so there are two large steps up/down, one on either side of the kitchen. Also, the floor in the dining area is a bit lower - an attempt was made to make the change as easy as possible. For most folks this is a no-never-mind but we have a 26 year old special needs daughter with mobility/stability issues. I knew outside would be tricky with her and my 80+ year old parents but was not anticipating the inside being as much of a challenge for them. The stairs/decking leading down to the lake was dicey for my stability challenged folks but doable. We spent many hours on the dock and upper deck. The property is absolutely beautiful! We did a couple of short easy hikes close by but stayed/played in the yard/house/lake the great majority of our time. The canoe and kayaks were used many times each day, as well as many of the games and puzzles that came with the house. All of our crew said they would be very excited to do this again!

Splendid weekend

We had a splendid weekend retreat at 85 Splendor Cove to celebrate the fall colors and our friends. The home was a divine experience in both location and amenities. Thanks. We shall be back.

Family get together

We had an amazing time at the lake house! Everything was perfect. The house is well stocked with everything to make a perfect vacation. We hardly left the property since it was so much fun! We fished, made s’mores at the fire pit and enjoyed watching the stars. It couldn’t have been any better!! Highly recommended!!

Perfect for Explorers

We had a wonderful experience here. We were 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 6-8). This house fit us perfectly! The grounds are fantastic for exploring. The lake water level was down so the kids had a ball storming the shoreline. The house was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of towels and kitchen equipment. Tons of board games and outdoor sporting equipment. Our favorite part was the fire pit. Had it roaring every night. We had to find our own firewood but we found a guy that delivers for a reasonable price. Lastly, the rain on the metal roof was perfect to fall asleep to. Just loved it. Great area hikes and restaurants! Enjoy!

Spectacular lakeside property!

The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the house and property were fantastic. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks, lawn games, ping pong and fire pit outside. Inside, the bedrooms were perfect for our party of 9. The Weber grill and well-appointed kitchen was fabulous. Ben as great to work with and make booking, check-in and check-out seamless. If you are staying in this region of NC, do yourself a favor and book this home. It is a mountaintop gem on a lake that is immaculate!

Paradise on the lake

Look no further than this beautiful lakeside paradise to enjoy surrounding peace, tranquility and loveliness inside and out! Ben and Staci were fabulous to work with and have put much love and care into their immaculately clean and beautifully decorated home! The master bedroom is in itself a vacation with such a gorgeous suite, complete with fireplace in the bedroom and luxurious bathroom! The bathroom is unbelievable with this amazing spa shower and gorgeous jacuzzi! The lake is so wonderful and they have everything right there for you to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, fishing, or just leisurely sitting on the beautiful dock looking out at the peaceful water! Enjoy cooking fabulous meals together in the gourmet kitchen as you look out at the water through a wall of wonderful windows that allows you to see the beautiful sunrise and sunsets! This home will be your return vacation destination for every season!

Great house

We've been visiting the lake for 20+ years, and this house is great. Recently updated, spacious, bright and open, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Décor was modern and clean, not cluttered or mountain tacky. Well-equipped kitchen, nice grill, 2 fridges, newer appliances. Generous linens, including lots of lake towels. Very family friendly: toddler toys, pack-n-play, 2 hi chairs, plastic cups, bowls, flatware, and baby gates made our 2-year-old very happy. The house has limited parking: 3-4 cars max. Access is challenging, but comparable with the area. Don’t arrive after dark if possible. Great sloping yard and good dock, although the dock location, rocks, and lake draw down required skillful captaining. Picnic pavilion was prefect for a big dinner we hosted with friends. Owners' communications were very good, well-organized and detailed. They were responsive and pleasant to deal with.

Absolutely perfect!!

Wow! Everything was amazing! House was better than pictured, the lake view was breathtaking. I particularly loved all the bird feeders around the property! Bunnies grazing the yard at dawn and dusk and fireflies at night! The kayaks and canoe on property were an added perk! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!

Amazing property

We had a wonderful family vacation at Splendor Cove! The house was very clean, organized and had everything we needed to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The owners were great with their communication and helpful in answering any questions we had. We were so impressed and had such a great trip we have already booked this property again for next year!
