Ubicada en MP 6 3/4, Parrot's Perch está 'entre las autopistas'. Esta cabaña SAT-SAT es ideal para una pareja, familia pequeña o grupos que desean mantener cerca a familiares y amigos adicionales. Nuestra casa, aunque en la tradición del estilo Old Nags Head, está totalmente remodelada y actualizada. Esta propiedad es fresca, limpia y moderna por dentro ... y afuera Parrot's Perch se encuentra en un estanque tranquilo. Es un gran lugar para sentarse y relajarse en la cubierta para observar gansos, patos y tortugas.

La cocina está totalmente equipada, con muchas tazas de café y copas de vino. También está disponible una plancha / tabla, secador de cabello y toallas sin cargo, servicios básicos como jabón, productos de papel y bolsas de basura suministrados a la llegada. Trae tus propias sábanas.

Asientos cómodos en la sala de estar para una familia de 6.

La terraza con vista al estanque es un gran lugar para broncearse a medio día y cocinar al aire libre por la noche. Disfrute del porche delantero para tomar café y desayunar por la mañana y es un gran lugar para sentarse y conversar por las noches. Ofrecemos una parrilla y un tendedero para la comodidad de nuestros huéspedes.

La casa está ubicada en la planta baja, por lo que tiene fácil acceso para aquellos que necesitan menos escalones.

Restaurantes, tiendas y cines están a poca distancia. Es rápido en coche al histórico Wright Brothers Memorial, golf, putt-putt, acceso de sonido para deportes acuáticos, Avalon Pier, Dare County Parks & Rec para canchas de baloncesto, tenis y parque infantil. La YMCA por una TARIFA ADICIONAL, ofrece una membresía semanal en sus instalaciones que incluye una piscina al aire libre y más (comuníquese con la Y para obtener más información).

We love staying at this lovely house. It’s so comfortable and accommodating for travelers with dogs. It’s the perfect vacation spot. Close to the beach and stores but yet tucked away and private.

Wonderful, Parrot Perch!

Our family loved staying at Parrot Perch for our summer vacation this year! The house is adorable, clean, and has all the beachy vibes, just amazing! Feeding the turtles and wildlife were a highlight of the trip! Our dog loved the yard so much! Thank you, we can’t wait to come stay again!

Perfect vacation spot

We had a blast during our stay. The house was very accommodating for pets. I loved the gates on the porches, worked out well for our husky. Seeing all the wildlife in the morning was a huge plus. Location was awesome, close to the beach and across from the grocery store! We will be planning another stay there in the future.

Great cozy cottage

Great "home away from home" feel. Beautifully decorated! Our daughters loved feeding the turtles each morning and evening. Conveniently located with just a short walk to the beach.

I loved this property and the little things that set it aside from other rentals. The decor is beautiful. The feeling and vibe of the front porch and back deck puts you in vacation mode. This property is well maintained and it shows. The pond and turtles are a superb bonus!!! Close to many restaurants and grocery stores.

First trip to OBX

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Parrots Perch. The place was the perfect size for me, my husband and our two dogs. The dogs really enjoyed watching the turtles. We hope to stay again.

Perfect for little family

Fantastic property and all the reviews accurately capture what a wonderful place this is. If you have small children this place is perfect with the side deck and fenced in backyard. Turtles in the pond were a huge hit! Would absolutely come back again.

Family Vacation

This is the third time that our family of four has stayed at Parrot’s Perch and it has never disappointed! The house is wonderful and cozy and the kids always look forward to seeing the turtles. Wonderful Family Getaway

My family really enjoyed our time here! The inside is cozy, and had everything we needed for a family of four (with two younger kids) to feel comfortable. Outside, we really enjoyed sitting on the patio to enjoy the pond and cool sea breeze. The turtles were a lot of fun, and after spending each day at the beach the outside shower was indispensable. Overall, it was a great place for our first OBX vacation.

Such a wonderful home! It is close enough to walk to the beach and the kids LOVE spending time feeding the turtles! We will continue to come to this property!!

Wonderful place

We had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed. Comfortable and perfect for my boyfriend, our dog, and myself. The turtles and egrets in the pond were great to watch in the morning. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Short Stay

going in we knew that we couldn’t stay the whole week. However Parrots Perch made the days we had a wonderful experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and was very comfortable. But is was the deck over the pond and the turtles and other wildlife that made our stay truly spectacular. We ate all of our meals at the cottage on the deck and leftovers and extra bread went to the permanent residents.

Beautifully maintained cottage, spotless, and well stocked. The back yard and deck were favorite spots(for us and our pup) and enjoyed the gas grill. Feeding the turtles and birds added to the fun. Just a few blocks from the beach! Hope to visit Parrot's Perch again-highly recommend for small family/groups.

Wonderful Stay

If we go back to the Outerbanks we will want to stay at OLD NAGS HEAD COTTAGE. The house was great and it was near the beach. The turtles were a lot of fun and the breeze on the patio was perfect. The only thing to be aware of is that it is near a very busy road and you can hear the traffic at times - we brought a sound machine and that helped significantly. Outside of that - the house was amazing and exceptionally clean.

Nice Little house

Small House. A little close to Rte 158 so you can hear traffic. Nice deck over pond though the pond was full of algae. Backyard is large and fenced in and well maintained. it is as advertised short walk to the beach. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our stay

Cute cottage

This was a clean, adorable, and cozy cottage. It was a little closer to the highway than we were expecting, but an easy walk to the beach and has an excellent yard for dinners, games for the kids and after beach relaxation. The deck over the water was a hit. The turtles were the main attraction for our kids. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We had a great time as did our dogs. The home is so comfortable and welcoming. The decor is stunning with a great beach feel. The turtles like dog food and the seagulls don't!! We would very definitely stay here again if available and recommend this home to others. We've been coming to OBX during Easter week for about 20 years.

So lovely!

We really loved the cottage, and how comfortable we felt there on our vacation. Our dog was right at home, and immediately took to the "pet-friendly" atmosphere. Beautiful decor, perfect location, and great features (the outdoor shower & the deck w/ the turtles were fantastic!)..we hope to be back some day. Thank you! We certainly created a lot of beautiful memories this past week.

A little slice of heave

We absolutely loved our stay. The place was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We brought our dogs and the place is very dog friendly with the fenced in backyard and the gates in the deck. The grass in the backyard is plush and nice. We enjoyed the turtles coming up to the deck every time we came outside. The house is close to the beach and most everything else too. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to stay here again!

Best Cottage!!!

The perfect cottage! We had the best time! Beautifully decorated! The home had everything you needed. On a side note a tropical storm happened while we were there and Teresa (property manager) contacted us several times to make sure we were ok. You can't ask for more kindness than that! We will definitely stay at Parrots Perch again!!! Thank you!!!!

We are Mike and Debbie both from Smithfield, VA and have vacationed and enjoyed the Outer Banks for many years.
So after renting 'Parrots Perch' when it came up for sale we knew we wanted it to become our second home.

Its location and single story 'Old Nags Head' cottage style fits our needs perfectly. The grass with NO sand cactus in the large back yard for pets and children was an added plus!! The deck off the kitchen allows quiet reflections while watching the area wild life enjoying the neighboring pond.
