Keepers Quarters A en el faro de Point Robinson

La propia estación del faro de la isla ofrece estancias de fin de semana y de una semana en los dos cuartos renovados de los guardianes. Las dos residencias comparten la playa con el faro y otras características de la estación de luz histórica. Ambas residencias están disponibles para alquiler semanal durante todo el año y ofrecen a grupos de hasta seis adultos una forma maravillosa de disfrutar de la playa, el sonido y las islas de Vashon y Maury.

El Keepers 'Quarters A en Point Robinson Light Station es un modesto bungalow de tres dormitorios, dos baños y dos pisos ubicado cerca del faro en la costa de Puget Sound. Ofrece un maravilloso porche con vista al Sonido y al Monte Rainier.

The house was very clean and charming. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch facing the water, in the living room facing the water, or walking on the beach and taking pictures! I also like that you can see the water from all the bedrooms. The location is amazing, truly beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

We could only stay for two nights, but let us stay. The view is phenomenal. When the clouds clear Mount Rainier is right there in front of you. Kayakers going by. The sound of the beach, smell of fresh air, view in every direction.The house is cute. Reminds me of my grandmother's house. Kitchen was perfect. Just an all-around great stay agreed by all.

Check-in and check-out process was very convenient. Hosts were very helpful in communicating about the property. The property is very well equipped and stocked with everything we needed. They even have several games and activities available for times when the weather isn't all that great. We enjoyed watching the ships go by, and were even blessed to see a pod of whales performing as they passed by the island.

The perfect getaway!

This is our second stay at the house, and it was perfect. Cheryl was great to work with when coordinating the details, and the on-site property manager quickly resolved an after-hours request. The house gives a beautiful view of the beach and water, where we enjoyed watching the world go by. We also saw a few river otters playing nearby - what a treat! The kitchen is filled with just about everything you could need, the beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets provided. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much to the staff that manages the property - we truly appreciate it.

Holiday getaway

Our two day stay at Keeper's Quarters A was wonderful. We enjoyed short walks on the beach where we saw a seal and two river otters and spent evenings in the cozy home playing games. It is a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful.

Vashon with Friends

From beginning to end, this adventure was amazing. My hubby and I have stayed at the lighthouse before and enjoyed it, but sharing with friends was the best. We were all in awe of the beautiful house and the view. Being there during storm only added to the adventure. We even saw a pod of whales. Amazing.

Great experience - will be back for sure!

We enjoyed the mixture of old style and modern conveniences. The house was clean and comfortable. The view was marvelous- we had two gorgeous days to enjoy a front porch view of the mountain. Sunset and sunrise were amazing. The caretaker next door is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed watching otters and seals in the water as we sipped our coffee on the porch. Wonderful getaway with the family.

Wonderful family vacation

The location is A-MAZ-ING! You are right on the beach with a lovely porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the view. Elderly mother could sit in the shade of the front porch while adult children beach combed and kayaked right out front. We did bring a few extra beach chairs (which we used outside and also in the living room to add estra seating on movie nights) and of course our own kayaks. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough to accommodate the many helpers during meal prep. Appliances are all in good working order and full size making it easy to whip up meals and store food for 8 people. Fans were available for those days/nights that were hot and loved the new windows with screens that opened easily to let in the evening breeze. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Girls Weekend

The home is spacious. It was great that each of us could have our own room and a kitchen to make tea and food. We loved sitting in the living room and saw bald eagles, otters and a seal. It was also a treat to have Oscar the Bird King troll in walking distance. The quiet made for good sleeping and it was wonderful to spend time with friends.

Island Time

The view, the view, the view. We all grew up on the other side and really enjoyed pointing out familiar spots along with boats, planes, the mountain. Hope to be back again someday.

My New Happy Place

Vashon is a beautiful island, but being able to stay in the Lighthouse Keepers' Quarters was a highlight of the trip. Super comfortable house and wonderful waterfront porch with rocking chairs for soaking in the view and scouting wildlife. We will be back!!

Make your adult dreams come true

We got to be lighthouse keepers for the weekend and the experience did not disappoint. Highly recommend! The caretaker was kind, the house was historic and comfortable, and access to the property after dark was a special treat (the trolls as INCREDIBLE). The only downside was the crowds, but we were grateful for fence giving us a little breathing room.

Absolute treasure!

We stayed at Pt.Robinson because we needed more room for family in preparation for my mother’s memorial service. I had always wanted to see inside the lighthouse keepers’ cottages, having visited the beach many times over the years. It is nothing short of magical! Beautiful restoration, comfortable, well-equipped and breathtaking scenery!

There are not a lot of places in the world where you can witness whales breaching an arm's length away and giant ships steaming by in the night, or, watch Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, and Osprey fishing for prey in front of a working lighthouse. So, on behalf of our Island and the Vashon Park District, welcome to Point Robinson Lighthouse. You're going to love it.

The Lighthouse and the two Keeper's Quarters are well over 100 years old, perched right on the shore of Puget Sound. There really aren't a lot of properties like this in WA State (or anywhere). A truly unique historical experience!
