Bienvenido a Resto del pelícano. Esta fantástica casa de playa de tres dormitorios / dos baños se encuentra en las arenas de la hermosa costa del golfo de Alabama y es un lugar fabuloso para vacaciones familiares. ¡Puedes ver en las fotos que hay un corto paseo hasta la playa y el agua es hermosa! La casa es muy espaciosa y tiene un balcón enorme con una vista increíble, y los muebles increíbles hacen que esta sea la más cómoda de las vacaciones. Imagínese sentado en el balcón después de un largo día de diversión al sol, cenando con familiares y amigos y viendo la puesta de sol.

Cuando llega el momento de entrar y relajarse, la casa ofrece mucho espacio y todas las comodidades modernas. El salón cuenta con cuatro acogedores sillones, un cómodo sofá y un nuevo televisor de pantalla plana. La gran cocina se abre hacia el comedor con capacidad para seis y la gran sala de estar. Realmente es una planta grande para el entretenimiento. La suite principal tiene una cama fantástica y gran baño principal. El dormitorio de invitados también tiene una cama queen, y el tercer dormitorio ofrece dos gemelos, con un baño compartido ubicado en el pasillo.

Fort Morgan es un área hermosa con mucha historia y está rodeada de naturaleza y vida salvaje por millas. Esta es un área de baja densidad diseñada para brindarle la paz y la tranquilidad que desea, sin dejar de ser conveniente para todo lo que Gulf Shores tiene para ofrecer. Great place to stay!

This property was excellent as was property management! It’s a relatively short walk down to the beach if you take the little trail right of the back deck. House was clean, well stocked, and a quiet neighborhood.

Our family really enjoyed our time in Fort Morgan. The house was beautifully decorated. Close to the beach. Pathway to the beach was a bit overgrown. Overall great time.

A great choice for a beach home!

This house is so cute. Decorated beautifully, but homey and relaxed, good bed linens, very clean upon arrival. A large HE washing machine which was nice for washing beach towels. The walk down the path to the beach takes no more than 2 minutes and the beach is wonderful. We will definitely want to come back and stay here again.

Beautiful Getaway

Beautifully decorated home, relaxing atmosphere, lots of extras provided, awesome family memories made. We loved our stay and definitely plan to return. The walk to the beach was much shorter than we originally thought and the only room for improvement, would be the beach path. A bit of a rough terrain for younger kids to navigate but all in all, it was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. Loved the quiet beach and the daily dolphin sightings.

Adorable House

The house had the perfect layout inside. The decorations were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to cook. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes but the burrs were brutal. A weed eater would do the job. Overall we had a great time and would rent this house again.

Beach getaway

The house was just as described. We had plenty of room for our group of seven. The walk to the beach wasn’t to bad (about 5-10mins) we realized there was a shorter access point to the right our last day there. Management was very polite and easy to get in touch with. The beaches weren’t crowded at all. We would stay here again.

Nice house

Great house but travel plans (by airlines) made us come in at 10pm at night which was a waste of the first paid day there. Having a discounted rate for people that come in late would be nice, thanks!

Great place

Great family rental. The appliances and stocked pots/pans and kitchen utensils were great. The house is slightly dated but very well decorated. The A/C unit would work at times but shut off before reaching target temperature. However, the wonderful Fall weather helped us to not rely on the A/C too much. The walk to the beach took us around 5 minutes (that’s with young kids). We had a great time!

Relaxing beach house vacation

The beach house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the outside decks and furniture extended the gathering areas. Short walk to beach on sandy path over dunes and frontage road. A bit confusing as to where to cross to beach. Did not see public access so entered beach between two private residences. Laundry and dishwasher on site. Kitchen well stocked but could use a larger saute/fry pan for 6 people. Lovely quiet area....just what we wanted for a family vacation with our 4 adult children.

Perfection!

This was our second time staying at Pelican's Rest. Again, it did not disappoint. We've tried looking for other places right on the beach but none of them are on par with this slice of heaven. I'd gladly have to walk the short path to the beach, than to ever stay in a place with one of those cheesy metal bunk beds or furniture from the 90's. Pelican's Rest is appointed beautifully and every piece was clearly purchased for this home. No second hand here. Comfortable beds and great laundry room to boot. Each time was stay, we are impressed with the cleanliness and the fact that it feels like home. We'll be back at Christmas!

We loved the house.

Good morning. We loved the house. When we pulled up we seen the red light . They was a smell but my husband said it was probably from all of the rain and the water cuz I. Come to find out the last night that we were there it got really was really bad the last day and night My husband Google the red light and it was a sewage so we got looking and the sewage that was kind of open and there was suit paper in the bathroom has came up in the sewage and the whole time we was there out walking around and everything that's male was from the septic tank and I wish we would have found it earlier so we would have time to call and reported it but I hope they've got it fixed cuz it was reported

First family vacation!

We arrived around 10:30 pm so we had a late check in but it was very easy. Drive to the office, pick up a packet outside the door, go to the house. The keys were a bit agravating. They gave me two keys one for front door and one for back door but they aren’t marked to indicate which and the front door (door facing beach) has a deadbolt which neither key worked for. That was frustrating. The listing also is not pet friendly but we found that previous tenants must have not cared about that because there was pieces of dog food in the living room and dog hair through the house. We didn’t really care about any of that we were just thankful to be on vacation and be staying in such a beautiful house. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Wish it was beach front or maybe even 2nd row because the sharp grass makes the walk to the beach somewhat unpleasant but overall this trip was a blast. The property was great, check in and check out was easy. 10/10 would reccomend.

Wonderful house, nice location

We were very pleased in Pelicans Rest. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and accessories. The living room was relatively large and the open space from the kitchen to living room was nice. We had a total of 6 people including two 5 year olds and the house was plenty big enough for the 6 of us. The living room was large enough for the kids to have some room to play and the kids also enjoyed staying on the back deck. It was open enough that we were ok letting them play on the deck while we were in the kitchen or living room. Fort Morgan is a great area if you're wanting a more secluded beach. There is a short walk to the beach, which isn't far but is all in sand which makes it feel like a longer walk. The biggest disadvantage to the beach is the large number of oil rigs blocking the view, but that isn't a deal breaker. We were able to see many dolphins, and even a couple of stingrays. Also, from the right place on the back deck, you can view both the ocean and the bay. Would definitely recommend this property to someone wanting a quiet weekend at the beach.

really cute but a few things need updating

We LOVED how close this was to the beach. Walking the path was not hard and it was a short walk. The beach was NOT crowded at all. It was so great! Star gazing on the patio deck at night was amazing. Sassy Bass and Tacky Jacks were perfect dinner spots really close and we even drove 25 minutes to Gulf Shores to the HangOut for more family fun. The decor was pretty. The house was roomy. The beds were super comfortable. We made breakfast and lunch each day then went out for dinner. No loud neighbors. We even watched a few family movies. It was a great spot! A few cons - there were huge stains all over the bedroom carpets, a few almost holes in the wall above one bed frame, pink stain on back of couch and the deck table is completely rusted through so we could not even sit at it for fear of the main support breaking. There was rust all over the patio. These are really minor though compared to the fun we had and the quality of the home.

Lacking amenities

House was not clean. We had empty plastic water bottles in bedroom. Three vanity lights burned out and shower light burned out in bathroom. TV unhooked. Carpets were disgusting, stained and not secure. Freezer very dirty. Beach chairs rusted, unusable. We had to get new and leave at house since we flew to Fort Morgan. No extra s at all. You are responsible for trash and there were no extra trash bags. House was ok, but would not recommend this realtor or this house. Have been using VRBO for years and this was my first disappointment. When we called to have TV and lights fixed they did repair the same day. Location of house was fine, 2 blocks from beach. But no beach wagon, we had to carry everything through the paths to get to beach.

Thank you for the 3 star review. We take care of issues that are reported to us the same day that they are called in or as soon as possible. We are having the carpets cleaned and will address cleaning issues with the cleaner of this property. We do not supply any beach supplies for any of our properties. If the beach chairs were rusted at the unit, they were left for use but they are not supplied by our company. As listed in the rental agreement that you signed upon booking, we only supply one trash bag and if you need more they will need to be purchased by the guest.

La casa esta muy bonita buena decoración llena de asientos para descansar bien equipada estubo muy bien nuestra estancia no agrado mucho la casa lo unico que no me gusto fue que los baños estaban un poco sucios muchas gracias por todo 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜
