This beautifully updated luxury beach home is located on the Fort Morgan peninsula and is mere steps from sugar-white sand! Enjoy breakfast on the big covered patio and enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with all new Whirlpool appliances. The huge new walk-in shower in the main bathroom will be the perfect start and end to your days on the beach. The home has plenty of seating and very comfortable new beds (memory foam mattress in the main bedroom and traditional mattresses in the other bedrooms). We offer free WiFi and Dish Satellite TV with brand new Smart TVs in all the bedrooms and a new washer and dryer. SunPlace is located in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the Gulf and is just steps from the beach. We are also a half-mile from the popular Tacky Jacks Fort Morgan and just two miles from the Fort Morgan Museum and the Mobile Ferry. You’ll love the roomy heated outdoor shower below the house as well as the picnic table and grill provided for your enjoyment.

Family Beach Time

This was our second time staying at the beach house, and it was just as perfect as we remembered. The house had everything we needed—comfortable spaces, a well-stocked kitchen, and easy beach access. It truly feels like a home away from home, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Best Vacation Ever!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was amazing! The shower downstairs was a huge plus. The walk to the beach was so convenient. We actually spent most of our time just walking back and forth to the beach. We had a magical experience one evening after it had stormed one day, dolphins were swimming up and down the shore! We enjoyed all of our time spent at the house. We hope to come back again someday! The house truly felt like our temporary home for the week. 🥰

Excellent Week

Property was everything we were looking for in space that was close to the beach and met our standards. The beach is a very short walk and not over crowded. If our family looks to Fort Morgan or Gulf Shores again I would be looking at this property again. Lastly, communication with property manager was the best I’ve ever dealt with. So easy to work with.

Fishtastic, I know it's not a word, but that's how I feel.

This is not a rental, it is a home! We have stayed in this home twice. We go on guy trips as buddies and we fish. This home is absolutely perfect for what we need, always clean, well stocked, roomy and well appointed. It is only steps away from beach fishing, just a few miles to one the best boat launches on the bay and less than 5 miles from Mo's Landing on Little Lagoon, a fishing heaven. We are going back in September so wait you turn if you can.

AWESOME!!!

I have stayed at various places around the Fort Morgan area, and the SunPlace is by far the best place that I stayed. Jana & Mike are outstanding individual to work with. I would recommend the SunPlace for anyone, or family looking to visit the Fort Morgan area. I will definitely be back next year! Beautiful home and real close to the beach.

Wonderful

SunPlace has yet to fail us! The property is beautiful, well kept, and walking distance to the beach. The neighborhood is generally quiet which allows for a nice relaxing time. For us, this place has everything we could ever need and we hate to leave it. She's a beaut!! We shall be back in a few months! The Robinsons!

Nice property that’s walking distance to the beach. Plenty of parking and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The house was clean and decorated very nice. We will consider staying here again!

Such a relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at the Sun Place. The location was perfect, just a quick watch to the beach. The house itself was wonderful. The owners thought of everything to make a stay great. There were even cute little treats in the fridge when we arrived

Great time in Fort Morgan

Left the landlocked state of Oklahoma to visit Fort Morgan. Accommodations were very nice and clean plus beach access was perfect. Jana was very helpful and answered questions promptly. I'm looking forward to the next time already.

Hands Down- One of the Best Vaca Stays

This is hands down one of the best vacation rental experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment I had rental questions, Jana was 100% available via text. Once our family of 5 arrived, the house was immaculate. It’s just a short walking distance to the beach. It had everything we needed in place. I can’t think of one thing that could have gone better! Having a host being as accessible to us as Jana was made a huge difference in how safe we felt with this rental experience. You just don’t find that everyday! We definitely recommend Sun Place 100%!

Beach Paradise

Staying at Sunplace was absolutely amazing! The home was everything we were looking for and more! I highly recommend coming here for vacations! The house and outside was very clean! the perfect getaway

We had 3 couples and 2 children staying in this property. The set-up of rooms/bathrooms is ideal for a 3/2. Not only is this property beautifully furnished and finished, it was spotless. So many extra "touches" in this house that made our stay perfect. Simply steps from the beach, well priced, and plenty of outdoor porch space to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

So its been a full week back home after my families very first vacation.To be 42 and never seen the ocean never experience life outside of Tulsa Ok-Ive learned a valuable lesson.Vacations CAN be affordable and they are possible.My husband and I along with 4 young adult children and our toddler visited the BEAUTIFUL Sunplace for a much too short vacay.We relaxed under the house, on the deck, on the beach-the air is so clean there!Heaven on earth to someone like me.My boys fished the pier constantly they cant wait to come back every year.We loved Sunplace!!Jana and Mike are great hosts I love them like family❤️

We just want to go fishing

Every Year, a couple of my guy friends and I get away for a time of comradery, fun, beach fishing and good food, primarily Fishing! We have stayed up and down the beaches of Florida from Port St. Joe to Pensacola and have enjoyed every one. This year we decided to stay a little closer to Home and started looking on the Alabama beaches because we all live in Alabama. I was designed as the one to find our Guy Trip "Home" and I came across Sun Place in Fort Morgan AL, liked what I saw and booked a Thursday thru Sunday trip. My My My did we find a place that filled every wish and want that all the guys would ask for! Less than 100 yards from the sand and water and a tad bit over a mile to the Mobile Bay and a boat launch for the boat and a little bay reef fishing. The house was absolutely beautiful and decorated up scale and it smells wonderful, oh yea us guys notice that stuff too. The beds were fantastic, the bathrooms were out of this world, the kitchen was fully stocked, and I mean Fully stocked with everything. I cooked fresh Pompano straight out of the Gulf and had everything I needed do it. Front porch and under the house was a welcome place after fishing all day, not to mention the huge outdoor hot and cold shower was fantastic! Underneath the house was large enough to park the boat and well lighted for security. the owners of Sum Place Jana and Mike treated us like family and made sure we had every convenance to make our trip a success! I will end this by saying We Will Be Back! We Just Want To Go Fishing! Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Rugg!!

PURE PERFECTION

Everything about this property was absolutely perfect. The home is recently renovated. You can feel the love, care and hard work from the owners as soon as you open the gate to the front porch. It's lovely & breathtaking. Everything from the furniture, flooring, to even kitchen utensils are of great quality. We travel with our toddler and were pleasantly surprised to find a pack n play in the spare bedroom - that has literally NEVER happened and this was my 2 year old's 7 trip to Gulf Shores/Frt Morgan area. The lock on the gate at the top of the stairs was a beautiful touch as well. Our daughter played on the front porch and loved the freedom! We were surprised with the location of the house to the beach, it's literally 200 feet (YES, we counted). The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The owners were quick to respond, willingness to help with random questions prior to our arrival - wonderful. We have found our new home away from home and will absolutely be repeat customers. I cannot document how much we loved the property. My husband literally joked about wanting to rent the property full time because he loved it so much! We will be back!

Lovely stay

This was our second time staying and we absolutely love the house. Everything is clean and well cared for. My family enjoyed the giant porch for our meals or card games. Under the house was a perfect hang out spot while we waited for our food to cook on the grill. We just grabbed groceries and cooked all of meals during our stay. We really love that we are able to do that. All of the beds are so comfortable, nobody had any problems falling asleep. Of course we cannot say enough about how close the beach is! Just a quick walk and we are on the beautiful sandy shores. We will for sure be back!

Home Away from Home

This is our third year staying at Sunplace--it has become our home away from home every year. The house is equipped with anything and everything you need and it's a short walk to the beach. The location has neighborhood atmosphere--everyone is so friendly. The house is close to several restaurants--Jesse's on the Bay, Sassy Bass Grill, Tacky Jack's, The Beach Club and several others--so if you don't want to venture into Gulf Shores, you can find great food here. The owners have been awsome and very responsive if we have any issues with the house. The covered deck is new, along with the steps. It's a vacationer's dream!

After many years of visiting Fort Morgan for family vacations, we took the plunge and bought SunPlace amidst the chaos of the pandemic in August 2020.
Just TWO WEEKS after we closed on the house, Hurricane Sally arrived and, unfortunately, SunPlace suffered a LOT of damage. The house had to be gutted down to the frame and rebuilt. We completed the rebuild of SunPlace in May of 2021 and then redesigned the front deck in May of 2023.
Now SunPlace is better than ever. We think our beach house is one of the most special places on earth and we hope you will too!

SunPlace is located just three miles from the end of Fort Morgan , Gulf Shores' 18-mile peninsula. The peaceful, safe and natural environment of Fort Morgan combined with the tasteful details and comfort of SunPlace, together make the ideal spot to kick back and relax. We also offer a 50 Amp Service for your Electric Vehicle (EV)! (Of course, you must provide your own Adaptor/cord.

Luxury from top to bottom!

We tried to think of all the extra touches, from beautiful and durable flooring to lots of crown molding and high ceilings throughout. We added extra insulation in the walls to keep you comfortable year round and updated everything! With a King in the Main Bedroom and Queens in the other two, plus a sofa bed in the living room, SunPlace sleeps up to 8 comfortably. We really recommend the sofa bed be used only for kids and non-angsty teens because although it is comfy, let's face it, when on vacation we grown-up adults deserve a real bed! We have received nothing but rave reviews about all our mattresses and we stay at the house 5-6 weeks each year so we are never going to leave you with an uncomfy mattress.
