• Las ballenas nadan a Maui desde Alaska, pasan todo el invierno aquí para aparearse y dar a luz, luego vuelven a nadar y no comen todo el tiempo.

VALLEY ISLE RESORT: Actualización del proyecto de edificio comercial del complejo a partir del 3/11/19:

La planificación para la reconstrucción del club de salud, la cochera de Porte, el vestíbulo y la pasarela hacia el edificio de gran altura está en marcha. Aquí hay una línea de tiempo estimada:

Although the view was nice, it’s not in the best area if you do not have a car; it’s near a bus stop so you spend most the time getting away from the property. room had random stains on the walls, no bathroom fan or real bathroom door. Very weird layout and the bed was broken. Also they don’t provide hand soap, they did provide wifi and some shampoo and conditioner etc. Also were no help during the tsunami warning. The bed sheets made me and my boyfriend itchy and i found myself over heating in the room a lot.

Great views!

We had an amazing view and saw whales from our balcony! We didn’t know there would be painting going on right outside our balcony, so that was a bit of a surprise on our privacy, but other than that it was a great room and we really enjoyed our stay!

A few things were broke in the unit, light switch, front door know, screen door, headboard, floor lamp, etc. There were strands of dirt hanging from the ceiling, covered in dust curls over your head in bed at night. Needs a remodel badly.

This particular unit has the same beautiful view, easy access to the beach and close to grocery store and other amenities. The unit itself needs some upgrades as the furniture, paint and other items are showing wear and tear which gives the appearance of uncleanliness. We didn’t spend much time inside so it was okay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing good about this unit is the view. The ceiling had dust hanging all over it. The unit is out dated. The stove is a camping stove. There wasn’t even a whole set of frying pans you had to cook your bacon and then clean the pan and cook your eggs. Two pans wouldn’t fit on the stove anyway. We only had one dish towel, one wine glass no salt and pepper one frying pan pretty much the basic stuff in any condo I’ve ever stayed at. They need to rehab this condo. The resort itself is beautiful and the pool is awesome.

Amazing location

This spot was the perfect location to watch the sunset, easy access to the beach, and had all the amenities we needed! The view from the deck is unmatched! We even spotted a few sea turtles poking out! The Valley Isle resort is well kept and clean!

Amazing view

If you are looking for luxury accommodations then keep on scrolling. But if you are looking for an amazing view with lots of beautiful water and sea turles then this may be the place. We spent five nights at this condo, we enjoyed the pools and the beach. We mostly enjoyed the views. I did a Walmart pickup order when we landed and ordered a brand new fan. We slept with the doors open each night at the screen locked. The lack of AC is bearable as long as you have both doors open. There is a small tv with cable tv. The internet worked good. We used the coin operated washer and dryer on the third floor. (Front desk has change.) We drove all over Maui and saw all that we wanted to see. Ate at all the places in Laihana and Mama’s Fish House. Maui is a magical place and the sunset views at this condo is out of this world. Our first night we had a masseuse set up on the balcony and got massages at sunset. You can knit pick this place or enjoy it for what it is. An affordable studio with amazing views. (I would plan on eating out if you are going to stay here. I am not saying you can not cook here, but I just wouldn’t) Fun fact, there is a vegetable garden by the pool and we were able to get lime and mint for mojitos.

Nice view, but dirty apartment

Stayed in 1206. The positive first: excellent west view of pacific and Molakai. Highest floor. Sunset can be seen daily. Smooth check in. Now the negative: very dirty apartment. They take a cleaning fee but I think they only clean the bathroom with it. Ceiling has dead bugs which have been there for months if not years. Dust all over the popcorn ceiling. Thick Dust in all the fans, in the lamps, head boards, furniture. You have to take out your own trash because it’s not covered in the cleaning fee. You have to wash your own dishes because it’s a requirement and there is no dishwasher and it’s not covered in their cleaning fees. They really should not charge a cleaning fee because this particular unit has not been deep cleaned is an extremely long time. I would not stay in this apartment again. I advice others to pick another apartment in the same building which may be very clean, upgraded kitchen/bathroom, and offer the same view. Advice for property management: actually use the proceeds of the cleaning fee to give this apartment a deep clean.

TERRIBLE HOUSEKEEPING

Reviewer Comments: I don't care if a unit is older or a few things are even broken, but it's another thing when the floors needed to be swept and we had to put a towel on the bottom of the tub because the soap scum was never scrubbed. The bed had ONE flat sheet, nothing else. ALMOST ruined our trip. I bought sheets, cleaned myself. I tried to call property mgmt, but by the tone of the voicemail response I got from housekeeping, I never bothered calling back because there was no offer to make things right, only how the needed to reprimand staff. Never using this property management co again. Obvious because it wasn't a $300 a night rental for them they could care less! Silly me thinking it was a good rate because it was studio.

Easy to watch the amazing sunsets, whales and sea turtles from the lanai! We love the improvements Valley Isle made to the lobby. We like the beach, convenient parking, the quiet, listening to the ocean waves and the neighborhood. The studio is spacious with all the conveniences. A comfortable chair to read or view tv from would be a nice addition. We will return!

Great location and view of the ocean

My husband and I rented a studio condo at Valley Isle. The room itself had everything we needed as described at the time of booking. Although there is no a/c in the unit, the room did not get too hot. There is a strong breeze that comes from both the front door and balcony that helps air out and cool off the place. The property is located to many attractions. The furthest we had to drive to a restaurant or beach was at the most, 10-15 minutes. We enjoyed the balcony every morning and evening to watch the sunsets. It is truly a remarkable view! There is also a beach steps away from the property. Although the beach is slowly diminishing, it is still a wonderful place to take a stroll and swim in the ocean. There are only two concerns I had with the unit and property during our stay: 1. We arrived and the tub was clogged. 2. The elevators on the property are very slow. It may be due to the fact that the building itself is older, or appears to be older. I still rated my stay a 5 star because it was a great stay overall.

Great view, well kept property

Valley Isle 1206 was right over the water and had a great view of Molokai and Lanai. We really enjoyed the sunsets here! There are few amenities at the property, but we did enjoy the nice grilling area and the community garden. We were rarely in the condo and mainly used it for sleeping and having breakfast. It was perfect for our needs and budget, but isn't updated or luxurious. Overall, the resort is well kept and the location made it a great place for us to explore Maui.

Amazing view

We were amazed at our view of the ocean on entering the condo. The whales entertained us constantly as we watched from the lanai. Condo clean. Amenities good. Valley Isle is losing their beachfront like several other condos but we found spots to relax. Nice pool. BBQs available but we did not use. Only suggestion is a firmer mattress be purchased for the king size bed. Quiet and private. We would stay in #1206 again.

Good value for money - bare bones with great view

If you are looking for a unit with a fantastic view and not much else, look no further. Room is adequately equipped but not overly stocked. Many pieces of furniture need updating/replacing. The resort does not have much to offer in the way of on-site activities such as shopping or entertainment and the beach leaves much to be desired. However, it was a perfect place for us to call home base and discover what Maui had to offer!

Studio very clean. The ceiling fan and trade winds helped cool the unit, but the foam mattress pad retained heat; making it difficult to sleep. Even though construction noise and renovations were on going, the building was quiet and staff / contractors were very pleasant and courteous. For last minute booking unit was a great option.
