Location is great. The pools are well maintained. Cleanliness of this particular condo was very poor. Twin beds extremely uncomfortable and sofa bed pullout was disgusting. Check in is exactly 4:00 pm unless you pay the extra fee to check in early.

Lovely place

We enjoyed our stay here. My only issue was with the Panhandle Getaway app. I am an Android user and could not use this which caused some issues. Your site or "Welcome" should explain the parking situation better. Where to get a pass etc. We had no idea and received a warming. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Getting park king passes was horrible. We where sent from one location to another. It wasted a lot of time for people that are on vacation. I plan to leave negative reviews. I have the text messages to prove you did not resold when needed.

Great Family Getaway

My family absolutely loves Panama City Beach. This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at the Sunrise Beach Condominiums. The twin bedroom is small but we weren’t there to spend tons of time in bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. The condo was clean and looks exactly like the photos. Thank you for a great week!

Property Unit Needs Repairs

Broken patio furniture on patio, broken lamp in main living area, non working cable in main area, wifi spotty and almost non-functional, cabinets in kitchen and bath falling apart, washer dial broken, dryer rusted out, refrigerator shelves broken and falling out, no toilet paper roll holder, dishwasher falls out from under cabinet....... Unit was filthy. Floors and outside balcony area need good cleaning. Our feet were black from walking inside condo.

My relaxing week away?

I wasn't going to leave a review but I keep getting emails so here goes...this is not a true 3 bedroom unit. Third bedroom more of a glorified closet with two metal twin cots with little box spring-like mattresses. Our two 13year old boys wouldn't sleep in there. Sleeper sofa no better. I spent $150 of vacation money at Wal Mart on a memory foam topper to make it tolerable. Boys were excited for the "game room" and the gym. Game room had a ping pong table and a Foosball. Not the arcade they were hoping for. And the gym was 18 years and over only. The boys couldn't get a bonus pre-football work out at all...not even if an adult was with them. When we walked in to check it out, one lady completely stopped her work out to stare at us the whole time we were in there...I suppose that was because we had "kids" with us....gasp. The WiFi didn't work. Tv's had 17 remotes and still had to try them all to turn a TV on. Unit was clean though, and smelled really good. Both real beds were comfortable but this is definitely a unit that needs some TLC. The large framed pic of "nothing" in the master bath proves that, even without all the other issues. The complex could re-evaluate some of their ammenities, too. The security crew was awesome though....very friendly and helpful. Will not rent this unit again. Probably not this complex. And I'm through with VRBO, too. Things have changed so much it's not a pleasant experience anymore. Will have to put a lot more thought and effort into my next week away.

It was a nice condo. You could tell it wasn't new but overall it was perfect for our family.

A few cosmetic flaws but nothing bad. Easy check in process. Could have used a few more housekeeping items. The condo was exactly what we needed it worked perfectly for our family.

Great Location

Aside from the fact that room 1402 was not very clean and the table being on a lean, the 2 twin beds hard as a rock, and all picture frames not straight, I did enjoy my stay as well as my friends. It is a great location. It's not far from Pier Park or far from the main road to drive to Walmart or Target. It has 2 nice pools and hot tubs, a spot for grilling and an easy walk to the beach. Our view of the beach was great. I would definitely stay at that resort again, just not room 1402.

Filthy, nasty dirty place. This is 2 bedroom 1,242 sqft NOT 3 bedroom 1,500 sqft as advertised !!!

We stayed at unit #1402. This is a privately owned condo, that was falsely sold sold to us as a 3 bedroom, 5 beds unit when it actually is 2 bedroom, 4 beds unit. We have stayed at The Sunrise Condominiums at least 5 times and we know the difference between 2 and 3 bedroom unit in this building. Not only this unit was falsely advertised, it also had tons of hidden miscellaneous fees totaling 80% of the lodging. On top of that, when we arrived we were surprised by the cleanliness of this unit - dust all over, pizza leftovers in the fridge, broken dishwasher, broken ice-maker, no Wi-Fi internet connection. All this was addressed at our arrival but nothing was done. After more than 5h on the phone, Panhandle Getaways offered us a refund if we leave - at 8pm, with a reservation booked 10 days in advance, in a crowded resorts with no room available... Since we were left with no other option, we stayed in this disgusting condo and 2 days after, our son got a stomach virus due to the cleanliness of this place. The unit has not been renovated probably since it was build. I will never recommend this unit and anything offered by Panhandle gateways, even if it's sold by Expedia. This was a false advertising with hidden fees and charges and no one did anything to fix it. No one ever explained to us what were those made up fees for either.

I am so thrilled with our stay! I couldn't have found anything more perfect! Beautiful Condo, amazing resort. Stunning views, and right in the heart of the strip.... Perfect!....1402 the perfect accommodations for my family! I would live there permanately!

Perfect Vacation!

I was VERY surprised when logging on to write this review and seeing the one before mine!! We too stayed here in September and had the complete opposite experience. The property was Great!! The condo was perfect (we have 3 boys so the 3rd bedroom with the twins was perfect). Very clean and our amenity key was here with parking passes. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would absolutely return!!

Very dirty!

The room appeared to be nice from the ouside but once you get inside you quickly realize the owners do not care very much! The carpet is BLACK and very dirty where you have to walk. Worn is acceptable, nasty is not. The bed is being held up by a 4x4 post and had a huge swag in it along with whT appears to be a huge black grease stain on the pillow sham. All the pillows are different and flat . They walls throughout the entire place are dirty and all pictures are crooked. The tv remotes were a problem. Pots and pans are very used amd thrown all together in cabinets. I was not able to access the gym because they lacked to leave an access key and the fromt desk doesn't give them out. We also recieved a parking violation in the parking garage due to not having proof of residence thanks agin to the owners. After buying lysol and spryaing down every inch im now more than ready for my money back!!!!
