Ubicada en una tranquila calle sin salida y en un lote doble a solo unos pasos de la playa, esta casa tradicional elevada en el sur ofrece mucho espacio por dentro y por fuera, �������y es una opci��n ideal para sus pr��������������ximas vacaciones familiares! Asegúrese de llevar los juegos de Frisbee y césped para sacar el m���������ximo provecho de la enorme patio delantero, o simplemente tomar una manta y disfrutar del c��������lido sol y de la brisa relajante! El porche completa con mecedoras es perfecto para aquellos que buscan un poco de sombra fresca y disfrutar de su periódico de la mañana. Al entrar en la casa, que son recibidos por una amplia sala de estar con techos abovedados, una chimenea, ventiladores de techo y una nueva "pantalla plana de 46 con DVD. Junto a la sala de estar es la cocina totalmente equipada con barra asientos para cuatro. El comedor tiene capacidad para 10. También en la planta principal es el primer principal con un ba����o privado con ba��era de hidromasaje, 26 "pantalla plana con DVD y acceso directo al porche y terraza de atrás con parrilla de gas. Otras características de la primera planta se compone de un cuarto de lavado con lavadora y secadora, pisos de madera en todo y el acceso directo al garaje para tres coches. Great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year staying here. Can’t beat the location - just a 150 yards or so to the beach. The house is dated and needs some maintenance, TLC and new appliances, but for our crew that includes 6 kids ages 6 and under, it works.

Great beach access!!

Stayed here as a group of 8 for the 2025 Cooper River Bridge Run. Great location for both beach time and city time. Convenient and nice beach access. Easy location for grocery and food delivery - no issues with anyone finding us to drop things off.

Each of the three families enjoyed having its own bathroom. It would have been nice to have three king beds instead of two queens and a king. This lovely traditional home is in need of a few updates and minor maintenance attention, but it was comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a great location on a quiet side street off Palm Blvd. With 5 BR and 3.5 baths, it handled our crowd of 12 with ease. As the description says, it is a bit dated (think 90's shiny brass fixtures), but its size and spaciousness makes up for that (for us, at least). The kitchen is functional although somewhat lacking in decent cookware. There are plenty of plates and cups and silverware, but only 7 bowls. We had an issue with the master shower while there and let Island Realty know so it can be addressed. We would definitely rent this house again!

Enjoy the easy access to the beach and the wonderful live oak in the front yard. These four days were again pleasant although the wind was high some, and there was water in spots that made beach accessibility difficult. Two of my children and their families live in Mt. Pleasant so we can gather for a meal and conversation. This property is one of the older ones around it but is still maintained to be comfortable. Those of us over 75 may find the number of stairs a challenge. But space is nice with three full baths and 5 bedrooms.

Missing Southern Charm and Hospitality

I have rented almost every year from Island Realty over the past 8+ years and have always been thrilled with the rental. This home is spacious and close to the beach but is VERY WORN and has zero amenities except for towels, soap and shampoo. Feels like you're visiting grandma's house.All furniture and rugs except the couches are old dated, mismatched and worn. Shower faucets really need to be changed. Very difficult to control water temp. You will struggle every shower, either boiling hot or cold. Lampshades on floor lamp near fireplace and master bedroom are coming apart at the seams, kitchen counters chipped, old, worn mismatched dishes and utensils. Several pieces of furniture with water stains, missing/burned out lightbulbs, bedding is old and dated, Closets have old, mismatched hangers, several are store garment hangers from a piece of clothing you would buy at Walmart with the colored size label. No basics like a hairdryer, salt & pepper, coffee filters. Only 1 roll of paper towels provided. Outside palms overgrowing walkway to the front entrance. requiring you to push them aside to walk on the walkway to the front door. Property needs an investment in an overall refresh to truly be enjoyable.

Nice, but...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House needs an upgrade, especially plumbing. Both kitchen and bathroom aged. Shower handles do not work right and trying to maintain a constant temperature is an art. Kitchen ware old scratched dull. Great location, very spacious, beds are fine. One pillow was filthy with blood or some other stains all over it. Tub stopper covered with mold, had to bleach it to use tub. Dishwasher very old and not connected right, leans out from the wall if you pull the bottom rack all the way. Teflon pans deep scratches, finish gone, should have been tossed years ago. Would not cook on them. Just a little TLC and this could be a 5 star house.

Tired and outdated

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were all disappointed with this property. Its access to the beach was the big draw; otherwise, it was sub-par in every way. It was like stepping back into the 1980s as far as decor: chipped formica countertops, a scratched and worn porcelain sink, no disposal, and an assortment of teflon pots and pans that no one felt should be used anymore. We couldn't get any hot water in the kitchen, either, so we weren't confident that the dishwasher was getting anything clean. Every bedroom closet was filled with things like old flatscreens, table extensions, ironing boards, blankets, quilts, pillows, shams, boxed Christmas tree, etc....while the linen closet in the hallway was almost empty. We had to shove 7 old stained pillows, and as many bedspreads and decorative pillows, old phones, etc over in a corner of the closet shelf, so that we could have some space to store our stuff. Why were the chest of drawers and a bookcase taking up room inside the closet, when the bedroom itself had space to spare. The master shower handle was stripped, so that it didn't control the temperature properly and had to be constantly turned past cold to hot to cold, but never really off. The dining room table was so beat up that it had no finish on its surface and no placemats were provided to avoid it. Clearly this property has been ignored for too long by the owners- it feels like staying at grandma's house, where nothing gets thrown out!

Easter week stay 2023

Construction was disruptive early mornings. Outside of house needed pressure washing and porch swept. Check-in process on Easter Sunday was complicated by lock-box system. Other renters said they would not come on Easter Sunday again.

Spring Vacation

The house was set up well for our party of 8 people.There is considerable construction going on on 51st St with 3 other houses being built at this time so it was a little noisy while we stayed at our location.During our stay we noted that when we used the washing machine it was discharging onto the lawn next to the driveway but we notified the management company so as not to be blamed for the situation.Overall we would rent this house again if we go to the Isle of Palms.

Beautiful House that Needs a lot of TLC

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this house because it was "pet friendly". My idea of this term is very different than what they consider this to mean. The downstairs of this house has beautiful pine floors. We stayed downstairs and it was fine for us. The upstairs is another story. The bedrooms have filthy pet stained carpets. If I had seen them the day we checked in I would not have stayed here. The couches are terrible shape, there is no support and there are springs sticking out. The house needs to be painted. The knobs in the kitchen are sticky to the touch. 3 wash clothes were left but not one drying towel was in the house. The house needs to be pressure washed, there is mold growing on the window screens and the steps are slick with algae when it rains. There are some loose boards going up and ferns are overgrown blocking the walkway. The shower in master is awful-the diverter spins completely around and the water goes from hot to cold with no in between and the pressure of a cruise ship. The walls have water damage and the mini-blinds need to be cleaned or replaced. We had to purchase bath towels, kitchen towels, pillows and pillowcases the first day. The TV are substandard, we had 3 different households staying and one person from each group considered purchasing a LCD tv and taking it home afterward. The pictures are not current and the house is having several houses built around it- starting at 8am each morning.I'm not sure if Island Realty is aware of the condition of the house. I have rented from them many times and this was an awful experience. The upstairs AC stopped working but was repaired the following day. I was embarrassed for our family members from up north that stayed upstairs. The housekeepers should be responsible to clean the carpet after every stay since you have to pay a pet deposit/fee. My dog does not use the bathroom in my house and I would not allow them to do it in a rental. Will pass on this rental in the future- I love IOP but not this house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. The only issues that we had were related to the furniture. The couches lacked support. One of them had lost a few springs so the cushion just sank when you sat on it. All of the mattresses were lacking support and had a few springs that would poke you all night. But really the house was great. The location was wonderful. Even without the view to the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was amazing. There was enough room for everyone. The house was close to the beach. Very convenient. The photos were not up to date. There is a house being built in the exact location of that amazing front yard. Construction workers began work at 8am. Sleeping in was not an option. Pictures should be updated to reflect actual rental conditions.
