Awesome house!

We all loved how many different gathering places there were in this home! The garage Rec room with beds was a great thing for us! The huge dining room table was perfect for our gathering as well. Loved it! Will stay here again!

The Cherrywood home stay

House needs updates and some work on the deck area. But is a perfect home for our family game room for the kids with lots of bunks. Home is always clean and nicely stocked very comfortable.

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Sunriver Resort as there are so many things to do. We are an active bunch so that was a top priority for us. We were away from the Village and Resort area but that wasn't a problem since we were only there once. Most of our resort activity time was spent at the Pickleball courts (which were beautiful). We used the Sharc passes at the water park which was very nice. The size of the house and amenities were wonderful but it is in need of maintenance.

Reviewer Comments: Have been staying here for 25 years or so am friends of the owners and family. only place to go. better than hawaii. know the area well. great golf close by. best in late spring or early fall un less you ski. will be back next year lord willing. decking around house has some issues. rotting out but can deal with it. needs some paint. other areas need some attention but wont get into that.

House is badly in need of an update. Outdoor deck and benches are so worn slivers are guaranteed.Check-in and check-out were easy and the location is great.

Not as clean as should have been

Plenty of space for us all. But the deck in back is small and needs new wood. And no anir conditioning in rec room. Also cleanliness: a dirty table;a dirty rag in master spa, two dirty pans in cupboard and used sponge under sink. Some of the burners on stove were too slow to use. And garbage outside was completely full of recyclables when we got there. Really I felt that for the money it was disappointing. It did have enough space for all of us. But we ended up hanging out in the driveway so we had space outside which I didn’t like. It did have bikes for what it’s worth. But again I was disappointed..and we’ve been coming to Sunriver every summer for the last 13 years or so.

House was NOT as advertised!! Highly disappointing! We had six adults and you advertised 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed However the sofa bed was broken and unusable and the tv was broken ! Not good so two people slept in the bunk beds and had to leave early it was so uncomfortable! Plus, they found a bunch of liquor bottles and beer cans wedged into the beds we left them, the place was also filthy dust was everywhere and cobwebs too!Absolutely filthy, we should not be charged a cleaning fee as no cleaning appeared to have occurred . First two days no air conditioning it was broken too! Grill was very dirty and the grease pan underneath was massively overflowed. The kitchen lights were poor, lights burned out hard to see, and the washing machine only used extremely hot water no matter the setting. A bike in the garage was broken the seat was off and it’s unusable as well. Linens in the bunk room were very dirty and covered in dog hair. No garbage bags were found had to buy some. There was lots of trash stuffed into the sofa bed, and in the bunk rooms trash everywhere even the pool table had stains. I took pictures of all of this and more. Very poor customer service and experience really I would say unacceptable.

We anticipated something like this when you got upset at staff because they would not let you check in an entire day early for free. So, we will respond in kind. The first line in the descriptions states - "Cherrywood #21 is a spacious 3-bedroom vacation dream home with 3 bathrooms, a loft, a game, and a sunroom." which doesn't align with your 2 bedroom description above. The ONLY thing that you contacted our staff about is the A/C not working. You messaged us on the VRBO platform, we responded, but you did not. You called the night phone, and was very rude to him as well. Our maintenance tech was dispatched and the A/C was fixed. The tech also added two portable A/C units to assist in the loft area while the air conditioning was cooling the home. While maintenance was there, you did not mention the sleeper sofa or any of the other issues you mention. He would have gladly assisted in anyway he could, but again you said nothing. Lastly, all the comforters were covered in dog hair, from the pet you brought. There was no pet from the previous guest. One of the comforters even had a cigarette burn , ruining the comforter. This was WAS NOT PRESENT, prior to your stay. This also violates the NON-SMOKING policy of the home and of Sunriver. You stated that you took photos and yet you did not provide them to office staff. Again, we would have loved to address anything that may have arisen during your stay, however, we were not given any opportunity whatsoever. The guest who departed before your stay, had a wonderful time and experienced none of the "issues" you did. Customer Service can only be provided when given the opportunity and your tone with each staff member indicates your level of respect for the service industry.

Everything your looking for and more

It was a lot of house for just the three of us, but we enjoyed it immensely. Super cozy and relaxing. Smart TVs are in nearly every room. Cable didn't work, but it wasn't an issue. Its a bit dated, but the beds are very comfortable, the pool room is super cool and the hot tub is private and super relaxing. The house is on a corner lot that dead ends on both sides, which means there isn't a lot of through traffic. Tons of bikes and bonus rooms. If we had brought ten more people they would have all had their own beds

Sunriver in April

The home easily accommodated our group of 10 visiting for a ski race. Lots of beds and space. The home is in need of TLC. The sunroom is rotting and has carpenter ants so we avoided that space. And one hid a bed couch had not been cleaned, dirty tissues, dirty linens, etc. The home did smell of mold particularly early in our stay. The home met our needs but it would not be our first choice due to the TLC and housekeeping issues.

Great place for snowmobile getaway

Property was as advertised. Great rental for snowmobiling with large driveway to park trailers. House was updated and clean. Close to town and access to trails. Owners very responsive and helpful in rental process. I would highly recommend for others.

Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival on Wednesday the twenty third of December we found the rental for the week in very poor conditions. All three bathrooms still had toothpaste from previous guest in the sink and hair in the showers. All bedding looked like it hadn’t been washed since the previous guest either. All pillows were covered in yellow stains and need to be replaced. We had to spend Christmas Eve the next day going to the store to get all new pillows for our family to sleep on. The bedding had shoe marks on it and the blankets inside the bed were covered in hair and stains of some sort. Inside the master bedroom had a dresser and nightstand covered in some kind of substance. All of it could come off if cleaned properly. It was so disgusting. The blinds in the master have a nasty substance as well cover them and need to be replaced. The windows were filthy as well. Hand prints were all over the inside. There was dust on just about everything and cobwebs hanging from pretty much every area of the home. The back of the TVs were covered in thick dust and were not cleaned at all prior to our arrival. Someone needs to take care of the fireplace the inside needs to be cleaned it could be a fire hazard. The The cabinets in the kitchen were so filthy we had to clean them ourselves. We were offered to have someone come out and clean the house. One lady showed up and didn’t do anything besides take a few cobwebs down. We contacted the office again and they said they would send a cleaning crew. The same lady showed up and was very rude. She came in telling me she heard we don’t like anything about the house. After that she came in took some bedding that was filthy and left. This time was two thirty in the afternoon. No one returned until after four. Both people who came did not have a mask on them. They came in with a attitude and mentioned it was Christmas Eve and hopefully what we needed wouldn’t take them long. The whole experience was unfair for what we p

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location, but the house was somewhat dirty and the pots and pans still had food on them from previous visitors. Smoke alarm started beeping in the middle of the night which was an issue and the dishwasher didn’t work. Seems like the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned either. Having said that the house has a great location and was very comfortable in layout etc... we had a good time I just think this rental needs a little TLC.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home dated with kitchen appliances either not working (oven) or poorly functioning (dishwasher and stove). Deck by hotter with rotting boards-dangerous. Bikes provided were non-functioning. Not up to standard for a Sunriver property, especially for the price we paid. Love Sunriver but not this property which needs attention and upgrade
