Este condominio de lujo se encuentra en Solana Beach, ubicado en los acantilados sobre el hermoso Océano Pacífico. A solo unas cuadras del famoso hipódromo y recinto ferial Del Mar.

Del Mar Beach Club es un complejo privado / privado frente al mar. Este condominio totalmente amueblado tiene capacidad para 4 personas: el dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size y el segundo dormitorio tiene 2 camas individuales / individuales. Se permiten 5 personas, pero no tenemos una cama adicional para la quinta persona. Todos los electrodomésticos de la cocina son de acero inoxidable y encimeras de granito. Televisor LCD de pantalla plana con TV por cable y DVR listo para que no se pierda ninguno de sus programas favoritos. La televisión está en cada habitación. Acceso a internet WIFI de alta velocidad incluido. Tendrá un lugar de estacionamiento asignado. Puede proporcionar un segundo lugar de estacionamiento asignado si así lo solicita. El estacionamiento de misiones está disponible con un pase de estacionamiento de misiones. Hay una lavadora y secadora de tamaño completo en la unidad para su conveniencia.

Al salir de la playa hay un Club House / Lounge que se encuentra en la planta baja en el camino de regreso a la unidad. El área del Club House / Lounge tiene un baño con ducha de agua caliente en el pasillo. El Club House / Lounge tiene vista al océano y tiene una gran chimenea central para descansar y ver las puestas de sol.

Acceso rápido a la playa:
Hay una amplia escalera privada a solo unos pasos de la unidad integrada en el acantilado que conduce desde el complejo a la playa, que es mucho más privada debido al acceso limitado.

COMODIDADES:
Piscinas frente al mar 2 de ellas en el Bluff y otra piscina al otro lado de la calle en el lado no playa. También hay otra piscina que se calienta durante todo el año justo al lado de nuestro condominio, que también cuenta con una gran sauna y jacuzzi interior para 7 personas, baño con duchas, barbacoa y sala de ejercicios para gimnasio (solo para mayores de 18 años). En la oficina en el sitio, deberá firmar un formulario de exención y depositar $ 50. 00 para la clave que se reembolsará una vez que se devuelva la clave). Hay 2 canchas de tenis (también necesitará un depósito y una llave de la oficina en el lugar). Cerca hay supermercados, restaurantes, bancos y muchas tiendas excelentes.

Perfect for couples or small family

Beautiful unit and complex. Location was convenient to restaurants, shops and the 5 fwy to get anywhere.The unit itself was very clean and offered many amenities. Only missing shampoo and soap for shower and a hair dryer. Would definitely look at renting again for future visits.

Wonderful place - even nicer than the pictures!

We had a great time during our almost three week stay in Del Mar. The property was great - clean and functional! We were close to the steps down to the beach (though that is trek!) and the beach is amazingly clean and quiet. We would absolutely stay at this property again - thank you again for hosting us!

Great location and comfortable

Kim’s condo was very comfortable and in a wonderful location. We truly enjoyed the quick beach access and super close proximity to the pool. The beach was fantastic and never crowded. Great family times. The condo had great internet access which allowed me to work virtually for part of our stay. Highly recommend and would stay again without hesitation :-).

The place did not seem like it was clean between tenants. All the glass tables were dirty, top and under. Windows look like they haven't been cleaned in years. They really need invest a tiny bit of money into fixing this place up. Rugs in the bathrooms were tattered and heavily stained. The master bed is falling apart and leveled with books. Need to clean under the bed and other furniture. Cupboards were unusable. We cleaned the counters and stored our pantry items on the counter. Anything we used that was in a cupboard we washed first and then stored on the counter.

Nice size condo, well stocked. We enjoyed how close it was to Del Mar Race track since this was the main reason we were visiting. FYI, there are a lot of steps to get to the beach but the beach was very uncrowded and nice.

Wonderful condo in great community in Solana Beach

What a great little place! When we arrived, I was surprised to find that it was so much nicer than it appeared in the photos. The owner is very responsive and super nice. The unit is right next to the pool, you can see it from the dining room. I hopped in the hot tub every morning. There are two beautiful ocean-front pools. It's literally just a few steps to the stairs to the beach, which feels private and the waves are excellent for boogie boarding and body surfing. There were lots of surfers, too. There's a huge deck with nice deck chairs and benches for watching the sunsets. Lots of friendly people around. There is no AC in the unit and we were there in hot, hot July, but there were several fans that we situated to keep the air circulating and it was fine. Close to the freeway, very easy to get to and close the shops on Cedric. We had a beautiful, relaxing time with our little family of four. Thanks, Kim!!!!

Mostly Just Ok

Overall, I would rate this as just an average vacation rental. The beach club, access to the pool and access to the beach are fantastic, but the condo itself was not great. To begin with, the Del Mar Beach Club is a quiet spot, and the beach was great and pretty private/quiet as well. There are a lot of steps to get down the cliff, but you can see those in the pictures so that was fine. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the beach from the condo. The beach club is right by the Del Mar race track, and traffic was very congested due to an event there. The pool is right outside the back door from the condo and again was never very busy. We enjoyed that. Things we didn't like: The check-in instructions we received from Homeaway were apparently not the instructions the manager expected us to get. A few phone calls upon arrival (she was very helpful) got us in, so it was only a mild irritation. The condo itself smells very musty/damp. We opened windows and ran fans the whole time we were there and it helped a little, but not much. There were lots of little things that just show a lack of attention to detail throughout; I won't list them all but there were enough for us to notice. The wifi was a constant struggle; kept having to reset it to get signal and even then you wouldn't get it out in the living room, only back in the master bedroom where the router is located. We've stayed at many Homeaway/VRBO places, and every other place there has been some sort of note/instruction out on a counter or table for you to help explain the rules and also welcome you to your vacation rental. In this case, we had to search through the drawers and found a stack of old papers and the instructions for check-out were somewhere in the middle of the stack of paper. In the end, we enjoyed the location and access to the beach and pool, but the rest was average.

Thank you for the review. I am not sure where the confusion was on the check-in instructions. The property manager, Kim, emailed detailed check-in instructions through the VRBO/HomeAway website and they are posted on the hospitality site just in case the guests wants to read them before they get them from the manager. We don’t mail these instructions because our guests all communicate now electronically, which is quicker and more efficient. We used to provide a notebook with all the instructions at the unit but it kept disappearing and the feedback we received is that our guests preferred to have all the information online so that they can look it up anytime, anywhere. But if checking the VRBO/HomeAway hospitality site and email is difficult for a guest we would be happy to mail them to the guest if requested. Connectivity can be an issue due to guests coming from all over the world using all kinds of different devices and sometimes guests have trouble with their particular devices. We are sorry that the connection was difficult for this guest. We just upgraded the entire wifi system in order to ensure we have the best available. The “damp/musty” smell is the beach. This unit is very close to the ocean/beach and it is humid. We have provided high end fans and a dehumidifier to provide extra comfort for those who are not used to the humidity. We take pride in our attention to detail in this unit as we have been renting for many years now. We appreciate the feedback so we can continue to improve the unit in order to provide the best vacation experience for our guests.

Great Beach Location

My wife and son visited Solana Beach and it’s a great location. Condo had everything you might need and really close to the pool. Beach is very close and not crowded. Not too far from Disney Land. San Diego is really close too. It was a relaxing quiet trip with everything we wanted to do a short drive away. Kim communicated very well with us. We are already planning our next trip!

Perfect location for a beach getaway

The location of this property is awesome - the beach is close and the area feels very safe. No need to cross major streets or anything. The heated pool and hot tub are also steps from the condo. The grill is in the pool/hot tub area and we used it one night without any issues. Another bonus was the beach toys and buckets. I noticed on the last day that there is a large umbrella for the beach in the closet but we never used it. Beach towels are not provided so be sure to bring your own. You will also want to bring coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner and some of the basic cooking supplies you may need (olive oil, Pam, spices, etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed (skillets, pots, measuring cups, etc.). It was nice having a TV in every room with DVR capability on the TV in the living room. Living room also has a DVD player. The full size washer and dryer was also very convenient. We stayed with our 5 year old son and the place was more than enough room for the 3 of us. We went to Legoland 2 days in a row and it was an easy 15-20 minute drive from the condo. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Kim, the property manager was excellent to work with. There were just a couple of small issues but once we notified her, she got right on it and took care of all of our needs. I would definitely return to this property.
