We appreciate your having taken the time to review this very popular gulf-front unit with the “million dollar view” and we want you to know that we take all of our reviews very seriously, but we respectfully disagree with your comments regarding the accommodations and the management. During your month long stay, Dune Allen Realty promptly addressed each of your concerns, although we could not change the color of the couches which was one of your complaints (the photos online correctly depict the color of the couches, so you knew the color when you booked the unit). Nor could we change the location of the built-in microwave which you complained about being located within a lower shelf rather than a higher shelf. You were brought extra towels, we purchased additional dishes because you requested dishes that stated they were microwave safe, we purchased additional cookware, and we arranged for a walk-thru with the manager so that you could point out anything else that you were not happy with—you cancelled the appointment with our manager thirty minutes before the appointment was to take place. You called and said the dishwasher began to leak, but refused to allow a new dishwasher to be installed until after your departure. You also refused for a new bathroom faucet to be installed although we had made you aware when your party arrived that a new faucet had been ordered due to a drip from the faucet. Not only was our manager very responsive to you and your party, but she was so despite your having come into our office raising your voice to the front desk staff. In fact, one member of your party apologized for the way our staff was being spoken to. As you can see from reviews previous to yours, Journeys End 202 is a well-liked unit, beautiful, comfortable, spacious, clean and topped off with a spectacular view. Additionally, previous reviews mention how easy Dune Allen Realty is to work with—we always make it a point to take care of our guests both promptly and professionally. We do not understand why you were so upset with us or with your accommodations, but we hope that you will reflect upon our immediate responses to your needs, the actual great condition of the unit and reconsider your review.

We understand the master tub/shower door was hard to open/close during your stay. This has been fixed and is no longer an issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
