Very good host!!Friendly and professional family business. The property location is excellent near to bars and restaurants. The proper has everything you need if prefer to stay in and have meal. Very lively place in the evening. Near to supermarket and two subway stations. I recommend!!!

If you want to experience how the locals live, then this is the place to stay. This is a very cozy apartment and the price and location cannot be beat. It is within walking distance to several metro stops and some fabulous restaurants. A food market is just down the hill.

The apartment was exactly as advertised and the location was outstanding. We love to walk/hike so the uphill location was no issue. The stairs up to the apartment are very narrow so anyone with limited mobility would need to be extremely careful. The double bed was okay for a single person but the two singles were trundle style and would be best suited for children or one adult. Luis was more than accommodating and met us upon arrival at the apartment to show us around and share city tips with us. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Short walk or uber to nearly everything

This place is in a great location as we were able to walk or take a short uber ride to nearly everything. The property was clean and comfortable. And our host was timely, communicative, and gave us helpful pointers. I'd definitely recommend!

everything you'll need and more!

We found the apartment very easily because Luis send us a guide to reach the place, everything was very clean, there is a supermarket very close, some restaurants and the metro, we had a great stay!

Fully equipped two bedroom apartment walking distance to just about everything

Our host assisted greatly with directions, touring information and local places that greatly contributed to our visit of Lisbon. The apartment is fully equipped clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Lisbon

Our stay in Lisbon

The property was clean and well taken care of. It was a smaller than I expected for four adults, but we were able to manage. The host was excellent. She was there when we arrive and made us feel welcome. She also kindly allowed us to stay later than checking out time as we had a late afternoon flight home. Good location.

Perfect place and neighborhood to experience Lisbon

Luis and his wife were extra ordinary hosts. They are in touch several times before we checked in to share information about Lisbon, travel to apt etc. The place is cozy as detailed in the description and perfect place to experience Lisbon and a stay in a traditional neighborhood that is close every type of restaurants, grocery shops, snack shops, metro.

Excellent Introduction to Lisbon

This was our first stay as part of a longer family vacation throughout Portugal. Luis was a great host. He was always proactive and approached the check-in process like a pro. We stayed their with four family members and all had their own beds. The flat is small, but it is centrally located and was a great base from which plan excursions within the city.

Cute apartment in good central location

This apartment is in a good location to access town on foot or by metro and has restaurants and a supermarket minutes away. That said, it does rest at the top of a fairly steep incline - something to consider if you are not in shape or silver lining - want to get in shape! The apartment sleeps 4 but the twin beds are probably less comfortable than the full, so ideal for a couple. Great host!

Absolutely incredible

Accommodations were comfortable and the neighbourhood ambiance was incredible. Mere steps from Liberdad, but in an area where locals lived and ate. Restaurant across the street was awesome and favourite of the locals, but this can be said of those on Santa Marta that are very quick walk. The apartment was very nicely decorated and really homey. Lots of space. Added bonus, Mini Preco around the corner, so anything you needed was easily convenient. (And they were great accepting credit cards, which is not a given in Lisboa.) Our hosts met us on arrival and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know. Can’t say enough about how great our stay was. We’ll be back.

First time in Lisbon

This is a delightful little apartment with a surprising amount of space inside. There are 2 good-sized bedrooms and enough equipment in the kitchen to make a simple meal. We found the nearby excellent cafe/ bakery was all we needed, with friendly service and wonderful filling meals at reasonable prices. There is also small well-stocked supermarket nearby. The building is at the top of a narrow cobbled alley, which is very steep. Daunting at first, with suitcases, we soon found it quite easy to climb it. It wasn't easy to find, but the locals were very helpful with directions. Rute met us at the apartment and showed us round, even though we took longer than expected to make the journey from the airport (the bus might have been easier than the metro, but wasn't running). We'd heartily recommend this lovely flat for it's ambience, convenient location, cleanliness and helpful owners, who were very quick to communicate and respond to questions.

Magnifica ubicación

Hemos estado genial, 4 noches el apartamento es pequeño pero muy coqueto. 2 habitaciones y el baño muy amplio. El anfitrión un encanto, nos explicó todo perfectamente. Lo recomiendo 100%. Hemos ido andando a todos los sitios

Centrica y limpia

La estancia está céntrica. Puedes ir andando a casi todos los sitios (aunque también tienes metro y autobuses). Para ir desde el aeropuerto hasta la casa hay metro. La casa estaba limpia y Maria (la dueña) nos estaba esperando (aunque llegamos a las 23h). Además la casa tenia de todo (cocina y baño equipado con todo)

Luis est un hôte disponible et prévenant. Son logement est très bien situé, à mi-chemin de la baixa et de lieux plus excentrés comme le musée Gulbenkian ou le palais de la Fronteira.

Nous avons eu notre vol qui a été retardée de 5h. Nous allions arriver trop tard pour pouvoir passer dans un magasin et acheter des choses pour le déjeuner le lendemain matin ainsi que pour le souper. Luis a été adorable et a proposé d'aller faire les courses à notre place.Finalement le vol a même été annulé, nous sommes arrivés le lendemain, après un périple de trente heures, et il a même proposé de venir nous chercher à la gare, avec toutes nos valises.La communication a été parfaite du début à la fin, il a été très accueillant, chaleureux, généreux. Je le recommande à cent pour centQuant à l'appartement, il est ultra central.

Appartement atipyque et très sympathique avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable. À 2 pas de la rue da Liberdade, qui permet ensuite de rayonner partout. Luis, notre hôte, a été super. La communication a été limpide, il était présent avec sa femme à notre arrivée pour nous accueillir et tout nous expliquer. On sent qu'il tient à ce que les vacanciers soient bien. Merci à lui et son épouse. Et puis Lisbonne est juste sublime pour passer un moment hors du temps !

L' appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Proche du centre-ville, des transports en commun et des supermarchés. Notre groupe de quatre personnes a passé cinq jours agréables et reposants dans l'appartement de Luis. Je le recommande.

Luis était parfait, ce n’est pas lui le problème. Nous avions réservé pour 5 nuits et nous avons quitté après la première nuit.L'appartement manque d’amour et de propreté un peu. Il y avait de la moisissure sur le rideau de douche et les contours du bain. Les matelas sont très inconfortables, on sentait les ressorts dans notre dos (surtout la chambre avec 2 lits, mais l’autre n’était pas super non plus).Luis a été très compréhensif et nous a remboursé rapidement les 4 nuits restantes. Malheureusement, on a dû payer un peu plus cher que prévu pour se relocaliser à la dernière minute ce qui a entraîné également une perte de temps pour changer d'endroit. Comme on était arrivé assez tard la première soirée, Luis avait prévu certaines choses pour le petit déjeuner.

Je regrette que vous ayez souhaité annuler les nuits restantes, avec toutes les conséquences que cela implique. En réalité, je n'avais pas remarqué l'état du rideau ; sinon, il aurait été remplacé immédiatement. Je suis néanmoins perplexe qu'un problème qui se règle en cinq minutes puisse justifier l'annulation d'une réservation de cinq nuits. Le remboursement des nuits ne signifie pas que j'approuve les raisons invoquées ; je souhaite simplement que les clients soient satisfaits. Nous louons ce logement depuis plusieurs années et, heureusement, les commentaires ont toujours été très positifs. Note : les problèmes signalés ont déjà été résolus.

Een prima onderkomen voor een kort verblijf. Voorzien van vele gemakken. De matrassen zijn aan de harde kant. De douchefaciliteiten zijn primitief. Contact met de verhuurder was uitstekend.
