The Castania Villa is a private detached villa located on the sea front offering some of the most beautiful views and less than a 5 minute walk to the heart of Coral Bay where guests will find a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. The villa offers 4 air conditioned bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, an open plan living and dining area with beautiful sea views, a shaded outdoor dining area, and a completely private 4m X 8m pool with heated option. Complete set of sunbeds and umbrellas for 8 persons and a barbecue.
Open plan living and dining areas with access to the shaded outdoor dining and pool areas and modern separate fully fitted kitchen. 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms with 2 shower rooms with shower cubicles and toilets and 2 main bathrooms with bathtubs and shower heads.
The villa is ideal for families and first time visitors to Coral Bay as it is very conveniently located and makes exploring the area very easy. It is also ideal for guests who enjoy privacy but do not necessarily wish to hire a car.
The villa is located on the sea front in Coral Bay and is short walk from the centre of the main strip which offers a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and of course the sandy beach of Coral Bay. All within a maximum 10 minute walk away.

Location was good and the view into the sea was great Dish washer trays really do need replacing. Maybe tidy up the palm tree, both minor things.

Top service from the minute we booked this villa . Communication was excellent the views are incredible and the Villa itself was spotless . Very small issue , shame the front patio slabs havnt been extended and steps down to sea front could do with some work and can be tricky . Other than that we had an incredible time here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

50th birthday

Amazing location and stunning view. Small niggles such as minimal toilet roll, missing sheets in twin room, no washing powder and non functioning dishwasher (which we resolved by cleaning the filter and the jets). The racks, however, are rusted and need replacing.

Great location but not a luxury villa!

This property was very disappointing. The location is wonderful with amazing views of the bay and steps to the sea, but the general condition and cleanliness of the villa is very poor and no where near the standard we expected for a villa promoted as ‘luxury’. We were a party of 6, there is a forth bedroom in the basement which doesn’t even have a door and smelt dirty and musty so we were relieved we didn’t need to use it. There is a lot I could say about this villa but I will summarise the main issues we had: Zero contact from property manager who ignored all my emails. No hot water for showers for the whole 10 nights. Broken and dangerous banister on balcony when we arrived. Kitchen drawers broken and cupboard under the sink filthy. Broken kettle. (They did replace this) Pool cover roller broken. Green algae all around the edge of the pool. Bathroom shelf hanging off the wall. We were told this villa had a new owner who had spent a lot of money which we could see in the furniture, new blinds etc but this does not make up for not having the basics like running hot water to shower! (They did attempt to sort out the water problem but failed and not once did we get an apology) I would not recommend this villa to anyone and would never rent from this property manager again.

All previous reviews have given the villa 5 stars and we will continue to present this villa very confidently and especially to returning guests. We have a dedicated professional housekeeping team who take a lot of pride in their work and any observations are attended to swiftly and without compromise. The villa is thoroughly cleaned prior to each arrival and the hot water temperature which was taken during the guests' stay read 61.4 °C and we have photos of the reading. The pool photos were taken earlier this year (2020) and the pool is maintained and cleaned and tested very regularly. I do realise that this guest demanded to have the swimming pool heated at no extra cost which is not possible and at £35.00 per day is a fair additional charge given the cost of fuel.

The location, your communication and remedial action after late cancellation of previous villa booking. The area around the pool is dangerous when wet, it becomes very slippery and would be a problem for anyone - particularly children.

lovely but!!!

A lovely property and area, but sadly we were burgled 3 days into holiday! Every bit of cash taken even out of the safe!!! Apparently its very common at the moment!! Would have liked to have been warned before we arrived!!!We were told after the event to carry all cash with us!!! Please be aware when you visit!

The perfect location and stunning views Having both a pool and access to the sea from the garden We really enjoyed our time at the villa The dishwasher - rusty, ancient and completely useless Only one saucepan, several frying pans but no ovenware whatsoever made cooking for a family of 8 challenging - felt this was very poor. Also having to rent a coffee machine - a "luxury" villa should definitely have one! Disappointed that the pool light was not working for the whole of our stay despite reporting this on arrival. This impacted a lot on our enjoyment sitting out at night as well as making it unsafe for the children to swim after dark. Faulty aircon flooded one of the bedrooms the first night so had to cool by fan brought by housekeeper until engineer came two days later ... Cat hairs on the outside chair cushions caused allergy problems House and garden furniture need updating

Amazing place, best views. Great location for everything you need. Mattresses in top double room with en suite and the 2 single beds need replacing.

Prefect location

Ideal location on the sea front and a short walk to the main strip. Clean property just needs a little updating, however beds were very creaky and hot water took more than 10 minutes to come through but would still recommend this villa.

One week in September stay

Location is great with a short walk to Coral Bay and close to the bars and shops etc. Also fantastic sea view. Owner need to spend a few thousand euros as lights and beds broken. Unstandable this year due to Covid but when full occupation comes repair pool light, broken bed and broken parasol etc.

Excellent location!

The villa is on the ocean front in a quiet location just past coral bay but 10 mins walk to restaurants and bars. Absolutely spot on for location. Would definitely go back. Villa is spacious on 3 levels with a perfect double terrace on the top floor with scenic views across the bay.

Villa located off the main strip of coral bay which means it’s quiet but you can walk to a selection of bars and restaurants. You don’t need a car if you don’t want one . It’s a Great location to see everywhere - we hired a car which meant we could explore. Lovely to see the sea every morning as you wake . People there are lovely.
