Esta gran villa es una EXCELENTE UBICACIÓN en la hermosa y exclusiva zona de El Portet de Moraira, a 500 m de la playa y 900 m del pueblo de Moraira junto a uno de los paseos peatonales más bellos del área mediterránea. Es fácil caminar a todos los lugares a los que debe ir durante sus vacaciones.

La villa muy privada tiene excelentes vistas sobre el valle de El Portet y un nivel extraordinario de privacidad debido a su enorme gran jardín. 5 dormitorios y 4 baños y mucho espacio alrededor de la casa. La villa dispone de varias terrazas exteriores, más de 400 m2 en total. Hay una terraza cubierta al lado de la sala de estar con vista a la piscina y al valle o El Portet. Fuera de la piscina hay 6 hamacas disponibles.

La playa está a solo unos pasos de distancia, lo que es muy atractivo en verano, ya que es muy fácil caminar a la playa para nadar o tomar una bebida / comida típica española en uno de los varios restaurantes.

La casa tiene amplias porciones con una gran cocina, Internet (Wi-Fi), TV de alta definición, doble acristalamiento, aire acondicionado, lavadora, secadora, piscina extra grande, grandes terrazas exteriores y una barbacoa.

La casa no se alquila a grupos de jóvenes.

Family vacation

Had a lovely stay - villa has an amazing view and pool. Lots of space for a family group and the air conditioning provides excellent relief on hot evenings. The beach is close by and one of the most beautiful to swim and snorkel. All my group had a lovely holiday!

Great Family Holiday

Great location 10 minutes walk to the beach. Good communication with owner. Good size pool for cooling down. Lots of restaurants in the town just 10 minutes walk downhill. Wish we could have stayed longer 👍

Villa experience

Beautiful spacious property with lovely pool and patio area for enjoying with family and friends . Close to the beautiful beach of El Portet which you can walk to . This is accessable by walking down a long set of stairs directly outside the villa and walking further 5/ 10 mins down hill , more difficult walking back up in hot weather but worth the beach .

Spacious and private

The property is in a wonderful private location in El Portet. The plot is very spacious and the pool and terrace areas are a very good size. The local agent was always contactable if required and the owner was always very quick to respond to messages when we were booking. Easy to walk to beach and also into Moraira. We would definitely return to this property for future holidays.

Lovely villa in great location

Great villa for families - we stayed for a week and loved it. Spacious villa with great pool, sunny and shade terraces with wonderful views across the valley. Big beds and very comfy, villa was well equipped overall. Five minute walk to the nice El Portet beach (via some steep steps but we did it with a buggy!). Quiet location but easy to get into Moraira. We hope to return again soon.

Lovely villa, close to beach, plenty of sun and incredibly roomy

The villa was really great, loads of land, seating and roomy indoors. Very close to the beach, even more so than expected due to a convenient set of stairs taking us down to the main road leading to the beach, within 5 minutes walk probably. I know the area quite well, it truly is lovely and we were lucky to findsuch a perfectly located villa close to el portet and moraira main town (both incredibly walkable). I'd definitely look to come back again in future, thanks very much

Very enjoyable stay in large villa

We really enjoyed our stay, the villa was really large with two separate properties, one on each floor. The pool was a really good size, long enough to swim lengths and the view from the garden is incredible. The walk to the beach is about 10 mins, the uphill on the way back would be challenging for anyone who struggles with an incline. Apart from that the holiday was great, local bars and restaurants are very nice and the sea is amazing. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful Cala el Portet

We were 3 generation party of 9. The Villa is well equipped with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to spread out and relax with a lovely pool. The is located 600m from the beach and bars/restaurants on the sea front. There is 70 steps down from the Villa to the road to the beach and was not to difficult for the older people in our party even during the heat wave this summer. There is parking for at least 4 cars in the Villa grounds. We all had a great time enjoying the local area and beaches and the Villa and pool. The beds are very comfortable and we would definitely return. Air conditioning in each room was much needed.

A lovely stay

We booked this villa at extremely short notice and our enquiries were expertly and quickly dealt with by Mathieu. Check in was easy and flexible, with Daphne on hand to show us around and answer our questions. Villa Catherine is very spacious and well equipped. It had everything we needed for a carefree and comfortable stay. The outdoor areas and pool are incredible. There is a little beach shop nearby (walking distance, but be prepared for a little hill and lots of stairs) where you can grab essential items to tide you over. You can also reach the local beach this way. Moraira is approximately a 25 minute walk away but you can book a taxi for about €6. We loved our stay and feel lucky to have found a wonderful property to enjoy our family time together.

Great Villa and Location

A great villa in a great location. There were 6 adults on a family holiday and we were really pleased with the villa, facilities and pool. This is one of the best accomodations we have ever stayed in. The pool is massive and the villa has everything you could need. During one day one of the parasols broke and our contact had it replaced asap. The english section of the information booklet is a bit out of date but we did receive a lot of information electronically however, there was no taxi or restaurant recommendation information which would have been handy. A handrail on the 74 steps down to the beach would be really useful. During our stay the Euros was on and while we do not usually use the TV when on holiday owe could not always get the matches because of the internet/reception. Overall wenwould definitely recommend and go back. Very clean and the town is beautiful.

SUPER VILLA

Booking was easy. Mathieu (owner) answered all our questions very promptly and Daphne (property Manager) made our check in so easy. Both were super helpful during our stay in answering questions for us. It's a great villa - very spacious, lovely pool and lots of space outside. The family table on the terrace was in shade from about 1pm and was a great place to eat lunch. The barbecue area wasn't shaded but was a great place to eat in the evening. Playa del Portet is a nice beach about a 5 minute walk from the villa (once you've negotiated the seventy or so steps down to Cami la Viuda). The Carrefour Market in Moraira is great for fresh food and drink shopping - if you don't have a hire care, the taxi fare to there is around 10-12 euros each way. If you venture into Moraira to eat, we couldn't recommend the Samar Restaurant highly enough but you need to book as it is very popular. We had a great holiday at Mathieu's Villa - thank you Mathieu and Daphne.

Excellent villa for 2 families

We were 2 families of 4 and this villa worked well as it's actually 2 separate residences, one upstairs and one downstairs (no internal connection between them). Upstairs has 3 double/twin rooms and downstairs has 2. There's an additional single bedroom downstairs which is accessed through one of the double rooms but it doesn't have air con so isn't listed as a bedroom (would be great if it did!). We were met at the villa by Daphne who showed us around and handed over the 2 sets of keys. An extra set of keys would have been useful for our group but we managed fine. The pool is excellent and was cleaned half way through our 2 week stay. Towels and linen were also changed. The basics are provided (washing up things, hand wash, tea towels, a few condiments etc). All of the kitchen ware was upstairs, possibly because the downstairs dishwasher wasn't working. There's a separate storage room with washing machine and a few pool toys etc. The location is lovely, with great views across the hills and a quiet neighbourhood. As per other reviews it's a bit of a climb back up the hill to return from the beach or town, but that's the nature of the area being so hilly. The beach has lovely shallow water and some great snorkeling, plus kayak and paddle board hire and a couple of good bars and restaurants. Moraira is a pretty town with good choice of food etc. Lovely holiday had by all!

Fantastic spacious villa in a wonderful location!

We were a group of 9 (two fifty-somethings and 7 twenty-somethings) spending two weeks in Moraira for the first time. The villa is clean and modern with air conditioning in the 5 double bedrooms. The pool was perfect for us all to have fun in. The surrounding patio and garden areas gave us plenty of space to spread ourselves around and not get on top of each other. The villa facilities were ample for all of our needs. As we had hoped the villa is very close to a beautiful beach with golden sand and crystal waters, great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling. The beach is equipped with a range of lovely bars and restaurants offering a great selection of food and drinks. Also the villa is close enough to town, via the spectacular beach road walk, which can be done at a casual pace in 15-20 minutes. The town itself is lovely, offering a perfect range of restaurants, bars and shops to keep us all happy for two weeks. We hired a small car for trips to local supermarket (5 mins by car) just to avoid lugging heavy bags in the heat. We all agree we'd love to return to Mathieu's villa in Moraria again as it gave us the perfect holiday experience. Mathieu was fabulous throughout, answering all of our questions very promptly and helpfully. He even arranged for supplies to be in the fridge for our arrival late on a Sunday. Thank you Mathieu.

Prachtige ligging met mooi uitzicht. Fantastisch groot terras met mooi zwembad. Goede bedden. Wandelafstand naar moraira (20min) en strand el portet (10 min). Terugweg wel wat bergop.

Amazing

Everything about our holiday was wonderful. The owner helped us so much by recommending a company to transfer us to the house and back to the airport. The house was everything and more than described. The whole family enjoyed the week so much we are all a bit sad to be home.

Een fijne schone villa met veel privacyl

We hebben in deze villa verbleven begin 2017 en het is zeer goed bevallen. De villa is super schoon en luxe met 100% privacy, welke volledig overeenkomt met de beschrijving van de eigenaar waarmee het contact zeer positief was. Het huis heeft netjes ingerichte slaapkamers met prima bedden. De 4 badkamers zijn luxe. Het zwembad is groot met een fijne buitendouche, maar het zwembadwater was nog aan de koude kant. Alles is zeer verzorgd. De openhaard, de TV met alle Nederlandse zenders en snel Internet maken het zeer aangenaam verblijven in de woonkamer. Rondom het huis zijn diverse zitjes, allemaal met zeer veel privacy. Via een trap aan het einde van de straat is het exclusieve strand van El Portet in ongeveer 5 minuten bereikbaar. Het dorp Moraira, zonder massa toerisme, ligt op slechts 900 m waar de keuze m.b.t. restaurants en terrasjes veelzijdig is. Al met al hebben wij een fijne vakantie gehad, die zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar is.

Een fijne villa op een schitterende locatie met 10

We hebben in deze villa verbleven begin 2017 en het is zeer goed bevallen. De villa is super schoon en luxe villa met 100% privacy, welke overeenkomt met de beschrijving van de eigenaar. Het contact met de eigenaar is zeer positief te noemen. Het huis heeft nette ingerichte slaapkamers met prima bedden. De 4 badkamers zijn luxe. Het zwembad is groot en met een fijne buitendouche maar het zwembadwater is nog aan de koude kant. Alles is zeer verzorgd. De openhaard, de TV met alle Nederlandse zenders en snel Internet maken het zeer aangenaam verblijven in de woonkamer. Rondom het huis zijn diverse zitjes en allen met zeer veel privacy.
