Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice time. The location of the condo is excellent, and the layout very comfortable. It has a screen porch, and an open porch facing the beach which is a huge plus. The condo is well equipped and nicely appointed, and we really enjoyed our 3rd summer visit there. Cannon and Gruber quickly attended to any issues that we had. I highly recommend this condo.

Vacation at the Breakers

Wonderful, large penthouse condo

The condo is very large and clean, with cozy furnishings and decor. The kitchen is better equipped than my own and C & G realtors were very quick to respond to any issues that needed attention throughout the week. I would absolutely stay here again. So close to the beach and wonderful view.

Pine Knoll Shores - The Breakers B32

Our family vacation went off without a hitch.The only slight issue is the parking for the unit is pretty tight. Any vehicle larger than a minivan would struggle to get into the parking space for the unit.

Spent our time going between the beach (right out front), to the pool (right out back) to the balcony to enjoy the beach in the shade! One balcony screened in, one balcony off master w/o screens. Condo had everything we could need and an elevator. People in the rental office were great.

We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our week in mid-May in this very clean, well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable condo. The remodeled kitchen is beautiful and has all the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils we needed for our breakfasts, lunches, and several dinners in the condo - they were all in excellent condition. The king bed in the bedroom facing the ocean is very comfortable (we didn’t use the queen bed in the other bedroom). The living room and dining area furniture is in great shape and is very comfortable, and the TVs worked fine. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balconies, and the condo’s easy access to the beach made going back and forth to the beach throughout the day very easy. The condo’s location was great for an evening in Beaufort, a ferry ride to Rachel Carson Nature Preserve, and dinners in Emerald Isle. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay in this particular unit at The Breakers and I’m sure we will be back. We’ve never been disappointed with the location of these units. You literally ride down the elevator, walk through the garage, up the steps, down the steps and you’re on the beach. This unit offers updated appliances that really make the kitchen shine. There are loads of cooking and serving supplies for just about anything you’d need. Comfy beds and ample furniture make your stay relaxing and welcoming. We definitely recommend this unit!

Property Summary

We had a great time but did not stay at the condo much. It does need some work. Kitchen sink was broken, dishwasher did not work. No way we could have entertained there. Both bath tubs were clogged. It took a minimum of 15 minutes to drain the tub after a shower. By the time you were done with a short shower the water was over your ankles. Overall cleanliness could have been better. Really needs a deep cleaning. Parking was nice and access was great.

Great rental in need of a few improvements.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has a nice layout and great view of the beach. Walk to beach easy and short, however, steps to sand are leaning, and handrails are very rough wood and hard to hold. Kitchen was newly renovated and well stocked. Baths, while not as clean as they should have been, were also renovated. Carpet is stained, and needs to be replaced. Deck and screen porch need cleaning and refurbishing, but are a great asset for viewing the beach and ocean. Beach and water here are beautiful, and the beach was not crowded. Location is 15-20 minutes from numerous restaurants, and closer to the NC Aquarium which is well worth the cost and time to visit. I would definitely stay here again ,and if I do, I hope improvements I've mentioned will have been made.

An average condo for the price.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a relatively good experience. There were a couple of bumps along the way however. The general condition of the condo was good but some things were old and needed upgraded. For example the coffee make leaked all over and was a yellow color which in my mind ment old. When we arrived we walked in and all the linens were still on the floor and within minutes the cleaners returned to finish making the beds. We had been told it was ready to go and it wasn't. You couldn't see out the back windows due to the salt. I ended up cleaning them. This should have been done by the workers, not me. Otherwise the general condition of the condo was ok. The location was wonderful and parking was good too.BEWARE however when leaving. Be sure to leave your keys AND PARKING PASS. This was my first time renting and granted it was highlighted in yellow to return both. But at 4 AM I neglected to leave the passes and was charged $50 for both passes. When I called and told them I'd have them in the mail, they said no need they had more made! Needless to say it was my fault, but they could have let me return the passes and refund my money when receieved. Not reall happy about that.Your close to lots of shopping and places to eat. Great seafood also.

A few quibbles, but overall a nice place

The elevator was down for a couple of days, due to no fault of the property management company, which made staying on the 3rd floor a little rough for my family, but the views were excellent. The pool had too much shade due to trees, so the temperature is colder than you'd expect and I cleaned the pool on Sunday during our stay because there were too many floating leaves. The oven is 50 degrees cooler than the temperature you set it at, which made cooking the first time an adventure, but it was fine once that bit of information was figured out.

It was well appointed. Tastefully decorated. There was nothing that we needed that was not there. Kitchen was updated, lots of utensils and cooking supplies. It was immaculate. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got to rental office around 3:00 on Saturday to find it locked. On leaving the next Saturday we arrived at 9:15 again to a locked office. Hours posted as open 9-5:00. Air conditioning was not working, Monday it was fixed. Found dirty dishes and cookware, and sand on the furniture in the unit. The designated parking spot is impossibly tight. Despite those negatives we will be back next year. Location is great and the unit is comfortable.
