Summer vacation

We had a wonderful week at the cottage. Joel and his wife were amazing at check in and super easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything!! Great location, peaceful, right on the water. The Sun room was wonderful. Perfect spot for our family vacation

Relaxing and cute cottage

My family and I had a great vacation at this cottage. There is a lovely screened in porch to hang out on and watch the sunsets and it is bike-able to beaches and the city of Holland. It is a very nice place for a smaller group and the host is on top of everything!

Charming, vintage, and clean lake cottage. Well-appointed. Grocery store and good restaurants down the street. Short walk to boat rental for a sunset cruise.

Family Reunion

The cottage was comfortable and the porch has a lovely view of the lake. We had a very relaxing experience watching the boats on the lake. The host was very attentive and friendly. Overall great experience.

Lovely Traditional Michigan Getaway

This cottage is classic Michigan! Not too fancy or complicated, but perfect for a week get away to cooler weather and a slower pace of life. The owners are lovely and splendid landlords. The location is ideal—we’d rent this property again!

Perfect for us

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for our needs and the house was clean and well-kept. The screened porch was definitely the highlight, but my son also loved having his own space in the attic bedroom. Joel and his wife were excellent hosts, meeting us at the house, offering advice and tips, and even lending me a bike for the week.

This is a cute little cottage right on Lake Macatawa.

The hosts of this cottage were very accommodating. Very clean and has everything you need. It does not have a dishwasher but that is not something that is needed. This cottage is right on the water but has a fence with a gate that makes it secure for the kids to be in the backyard.

Slice of Nostalgia on Picturesque Lake

Quiet sunsets over Lake Macatawa (Holland, MI). There was an abundant supply of all things needed for a comfortable vacation (bath towels, dish detergent, Kleenex... you name it, they had it!) We thought about renting it again for next year...Oops! Already booked!) Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time here!! Property was exactly as pictured. Very clean and well kept. A little gem!! Joey met us at the house and gave us lots of ideas/info on what to do and where to go. Very helpful as it was our first time on Lake Mac and in Holland. We can’t wait to come back!

A perfect fit

The owners were wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful with recommendations. The cottage was exactly as they described it. Very clean and well organized. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Everything was in good working order. No complaints by me. I can not wait to go back. I loved it!!

The view of the lake was outstanding. Right off the lake. The owners can't be beat. They responded to any text questions within minutes. They met us at the cottage and gave us a tour and information. They had suggestions for things to do. We felt like we were good friends. Would recommend this and hope to be a returning guest!!!

Fantastic House on Lake Macatawa!

This house is fantastic. Very clean. Exactly as described. Incredibly comfortable. Location is perfect—right on Lake Macatawa—with a screened in porch on the back that faces the lake. You are minutes from wonderful downtown Holland, 10 minutes from Saugatuck, and half-an-hour to Grand Haven. One last thing: the owners are marvelous. They met us at the house at check-in and showed us the property and explained everything. Plus, they are genuinely warm, wonderful people. In short, this is a fantastic house and I plan on returning many times in the future.

Great stay

This rental is exactly as promised. It is a charming cottage right on the lake with wonderful views of the summer sunset. Everything was clean and ready to go upon arrival. The owners met us at the home to give us a tour of the house, the yard, and the dock. They also gave us some restaurant and entertainment suggestions that we did utilize. For a week in late July, we had interesting weather (mid 60s and rain) but didn't run out of things to do. We were six adults and two kids 3 and under and had a great time.
